The night was dark today on Midgard, yet the moon hung low, casting it's serene shadow on those in love.

The shuttering winds whipped Katerina's hair into her face, as Loki laughed in delight, watching her eyes scrunch in frustration.

" Oh my, " He teased, " You and your mortal life, fleeting. " He smiled pushing her hair away from her face.

He pulled a hand out of his pocket, a small package, wrapped in leather and twine.

" And you with your ever present arrogance. Is it just you or all gods? -" She bit back, but gasped in surprise.

" - there is no one like me. " He answered, gathering her hair behind her, pinning them with the hairpin. " You are chaos reincarnated my love. "

" If you'd atleast let me see it my prince. " She grinned, " Or are you fearful of not getting something worthy enough? "

Loki walked back to sit in front of her, gently holding her face in his hands,
" Katerina, the world's greatest beauty fails at the mere mention of your name, for all gifts I buy hold mo comparison to your glory. " He said, " We are forever. " He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead.

The sound of a Chitauri ship crashing snapped him back to the fight.

He could feel the familiar glaze take over, sighing in defeat. Thanos's hold was strong on him.

"Not anymore, " He mumbled, " It's not forever anymore. " He held on to his sceptre tighter, jaw clenching. It vibrated in his hands as power surged through him.

He closed his eyes, breathing deep. It would seem that he charged ahead. But the pain stabbed his heart .

"Not anymore." Katherine huffed, staring at the chaos that reigned. Niklaus's army of hybrids took over the night, howls haunted the rather calm environment of Mystic Falls.

She heard a low growl behind her, flipping around to see one onto her.

" You can't run from me little vampire. You may be an eternal, but I am a god. " Loki's teasing voice cut through as she hid behind the large rock.

She giggled softly, but a shadow cast over her dress. She raised her eyes to see him standing over her, his lips pulled in a mocking grin, " So here is she. Hiding behind a rock is unbecoming of you my heart. " He teased, grabbing her hand to pull her up, right next to him.

" You can never get away from me. Ever. Mín ód, " He said, holding her close.

" And you're mine. " Katerina promised.

" Damn you Loki! Damn you! " She shouted as a werewolf bit her. She collapsed on the side of the road, gasping and choking. " Even now I cannot forget you."
