Personality:
Ava used to be a dreamer, and she actually still is. When you would first met her, she's more polite in an adult way. But if you really get to know her better, she's a very sweet person with a good heart. Ava tries to always do the right thing, but when she gets annoyed she does impulsive things she will definitely regret later. Besides that
really takes after her parents, she's an enthusiastic and passionate person. Sometimes she gets a little too passionate, but most of the time she can contain herself.

Backstory:
When Ava was little, she'd spend her summers in the ocean with her grandpa and aunts. She also had a two best friends there; Nathan and Pearl. They were inseparable and every year it got harder to leave them behind until the next summer. When Ava was 14, the three of them had an accident. No one knows what happened, they never about it. Pearl died that day, leaving Ava and Nathan alone. Ava was so sad for so long that she never returned to Atlantica since. Of course she goes swimming often, but she never really went back to the palace or city. Since the accident Ava changed. She wasn't the cute, optimistic little girl anymore. She suddenly acted like an adult, which didn't fit her at all. Even though her personality completely changed, she didn't look sad or upset at all. At day, at least. After two years her shield fell a little and she got her old personality back, mostly. She still misses going to Atlantica, but every time she gets too close, she chickens out.

1. She has an soft spot for Atlantica. Even though she doesn't go there anymore, it's still in a way her home.
2. When she's alone, she can go too deep into her own thoughts and hurt herself with her own words.

Ava has an even relationship with both her mother and her father. She argues with her mother more, that's because Ariel thinks Ava wanted to mature way too early. In the end they do love each other a lot. Ava doesn't really argue with her dad, they're on okay grounds.
