New morning, new hope, new day and many moments to live.

I woke up feeling someone caressing my hair. Softly. There was a motherly feel in her touch. Mom is not here.

Then who?

I was confused for a moment. That time it stuck my mind that I was in Parth's place and most probably it was Parth's mother. Parth always talks about her. He used to miss her so much and now she had finally shifted here with him. She is undoubtedly a sweetheart.

Then suddenly all the events from past night flashed in my mind and I got up with a jerk which I am sure startled her a bit. No one would expect such a desparate act early in the morning. But covering that she gave me a motherly smile which was dripping with affection. I also returned the favour passing her a beautiful smile.

PM: Good morning, Niti.

N: Good morning... I ... Me... Actually....

I didn't know what to say in that particular moment.

PM: You guys had gone for a night out but you fell asleep while coming back. So, Aarav brought you here. He didn't want to disturb your sleep. .

N: Ohh...

I looked down not finding what to say next. It's a little awkward. Actually we never had a conversation like this before. She came to the set few times before to meet Parth, but that time things were not normal between me and Parth. On top of that the revelation from last night is not helping at all at this moment.

Finding me getting more and more nervous, she told, "No need to feel awkward, beta. Go and freshen up. I will go and wake up Aarav. You both have shoot right?"

I slightly nodded my head in response.

She left passing me a smile.

After she left it was the first time, I was noticing the room in daylight. The room is simple yet classy. It gives a homely feeling and the warmth. Seeing around I can clearly say it's Parth's room only.

I got up and went to freshen up. I didn't have change with me, so I couldn't have a shower. I came out of the washroom only to find Parth there waiting for me to come out. After last night it's getting really awkward for me to face him. But I have to.

P: Good morning.

N: Ummm.... Good morning.

P: Did you sleep well?

N (looking down): Yeah, thank you for last night. But you could have just wake me up and drop me to my place. There was no need of taking so much trouble for me.

P: It's okay and doing things for you don't trouble me.

This time I knew what his eyes were trying to express and what his words meant.

P: Come. Aai is waiting for us with breakfast. Then we also have to leave for shoot.

I nodded silently and went to have breakfast with Parth. Parth's mother was already present there. I passed her a warm smile and settled on one of the chairs. She served me and Parth, then she also joined us as we forced her to have breakfast with us.

Being the ultimate foody Parth started eating like, he had not eaten since ages. I chuckled slowly and concentranted on my breakfast, in between I was also talking to Parth's mother. She is such a sweet lady, more than I had expected her to be.

Seeing me having less food, Parth's mother asked, "Niti, why are not you eating? Didn't you like the food? Should I make something else for you?"

This dragged Parth's attention towards me from his food.

P: Yes, Niti, you didn't have your dinner also last night. So now eat properly and finish everything. If you want to eat something else, then say aai will make it for you.

N (slowly): I am eating. Don't worry and aunty, the food is amazing.

She smiled brightly at me and patted my cheeks lovingly.

After having breakfast, me and Parth left from his place after bidding bye to Parth's mother. He dropped me to my place before going to shoot because my call time was late today.

At Niti's apartment

I was thinking about my life and everytime I thought about it, I was getting more and more fraustrated. First that broken engagement and now I got to know about my friend has feeling for me that too from a long time and I didn't even get and hint of it.

Why life is so confusing?

But before everything I need to talk to Chandni and Ananya. I am sure they know everything still they didn't think it's important to let me know about this. For God sake they are my best friends not his.

I sent them text to reach my place as soon as possible and I know they would land up here without giving it a second thought.

As I thought, it's hardly 20 minutes and the door bell rang. They are here. I maintained my stern face and went to open the door. Being an actor is quite helpful sometimes. They give me their brightest smile as soon as I opened the door. They were about to hug me but I stopped them and asked them to come in first.

I know they are starled and confused by my behaviour. But I need to know what they are actually trying to do and why on this earth they didn't tell me anything about Parth?

A: Nitu, are you alright? You called us so suddenly. We got so scared.

C: Did anyone say anything to you? Just tell us the name and then see what we do to them.

N (shouting): Stop it, you two. You tell me what's happening?

They were confused with my question. They were not at all expecting me to ask them something like this so suddenly.

C: What's happening? What are you talking about?

N (wrapping my hands together over my chest): Between you two and Parth.

A (not meeting my gaze): There is nothing.

Now I am sure there is definietly something. It's very rare when Ananya and Chandni try to hide their gaze from me.

C (supporting Ananya): He and Palash had just asked us to join your party. You will fell better, if we are there. That's it.

N (shouting on top of my voice): For God sake stop lying. You both knew Parth loves me, don't you?

They both froze at their place hearing my words. Shock would be an underestimate to describe their condition. They were still trying to register whatever I just said.

One thing was roaming in their mind how did I get to know this? I was not supposed to know this. Their faces were saying everything.

After registering everything, Ananya was the first one to spoke, "Parth told this to you?"

N: No.

C (confused): Then how did you get to know?

N: Last night I fell asleep when Parth was coming to drop home. So, he took me to his place. There I heard his mother saying this to him and he is still not ready to say this to me.

A: So, what's the problem?

N: The problem is you both are my friend and you knew everthing. Still you guys decided not to tell me anything. Why?

C: Niti, calm down. It's not that we had known everything from beginning. We got to know about this a few days back only.

A: We wanted to tell you because it's a matter of your life and you have all the right to know about this. But that time situation was terribly wrong and you were also not at perfect state of mind. So,we had decided to tell you later when the situation will be okay.

N: Okay but Parth shouldn't know that I got to know everything.

A: Why?

C: He should be aware of what do you think.

N: It's final that you both are not saying this to anyone especially Parth. Promise me.

Having no other option left, they had to promise that they won't say anyone about this.

Today I don't have much scene to shoot with Niti. So, she will join us late. But right now I was missing her, though I had met her a few hours back only. I have become habituated of being around her all the time. I don't know how I am gonna survive after the shoot will get over.

(Little did he know destiny has already planned something for him.)

I didn't realize when the whole day passed and now it's time for Niti to arrive. We need to shoot a scene which will be shot at night only and guess what we will be all alone. I am damn excited. I can't wait to see her.

I was checking the time every now and then waiting for Niti to arrive. Then after testing my patience for a long time, she finally arrived. My smile grew to the fullest. She came and greeted everyone except me. The thing is she didn't even spare a glance to me as if I don't exist there.

Is she trying to ignore me?

But why?

She was alright this morning then what happened in these few hours that she is literally avoiding me that I don't even exist around her.

What did I do?

During the whole shoot, I kept on trying to talk to her but she kept avoiding me. She was talking to me only when there was any necessary other time she was not even sparing a glance to me.

Like this a whole week passed and Niti is still ignoring me. Everytime I went to talk to her, she leaves giving some lame excuse which I know only to avoid having a conversation with me. This time my patience limit also crossed. So, I also decided that I won't go behind her anymore.

May be it was the end of us...........

I was busy thinking all this when the door of my vanity got open with a bang. I was starled, then I titled my head to that side to check who it is. To my surprise, it was Niti. I was not expecting her here after all the events of these whole week. Her eyes were teary. I stood up and before I could understand anything, she jumped on me hugging me tightly. I also hugged her back. She was still in the hug when I heard her whispering, "Help me."
