╌ suqi's talent for dancing was discovered
    by her parents when she was only four
    years old and they made sure to nurture
    it by sending her for many different styles
    of dance classes and she's well-rounded
    in twelve different styles of dancing. her
    favourite dance styles are ballet,
    tap-dance and hip-hop.
╌ suqi initially wanted to be a weatherwoman
    or a hacker when she was younger and
    taught herself how to code and read the
    off many climate graphs but she decided to
    be enter the idol industry after being scouted.
╌ suqi had a douyin account with a high
    following (447K) where she would post dances
    and sometimes sapphic skits. but since
    douyin isn't available in south korea, she
    hasn't been able to access her account and is
    too lazy to download a vpn to get it back.
╌ suqi is a huge fan of girl groups and listed
    seulgi (red velvet), soojin (eden), iroha (equinox)
    and krystal (f(x)) as her role models. she
    claims to not listen to boy groups but
    expressed a strong admiration for noah song,
    who was a survival show contestant.
╌ suqi is placed in charge of cooking at the dorms
    and often cooks sichuan cuisines for her
    members, that are often very spicy. other
    members have expressed that her dishes are
    often too spicy and she's made it her mission to
    help train the other members' spice tolerance.
╌ suqi claims that if she hadn't become an idol,
    she would've taken up computer science in
    college since it seems like a promising career
    choice.
╌ suqi chose pink, purple and blue as her favorite
    colour. she claims she loves pastel colours
    along with those colours above as they give off
    a calming aura to her.
╌ during her free time, suqi likes animating videos.
    she explains that she had used self-taught coding
    to run her animations and took up commissions
    from people for animation pre-debut to earn
    extra money as a side gig.
╌ suqi's favourite taste is neither sweet nor salty.
    instead, she prefers spicy and often gets the

╌ suqi's stage name has sparked debate all over
    the internet over how it should be pronounced
    and variety shows/music shows are always
    inconsistent with her name's pronunciation.
    suqi is aware of this debate and admits that
    she's aware of the uproar and confusion
    behind her name but she herself has no idea
    how it should be pronounced either. but she
    enjoys watching people argue/bicker/fight
    over her name.

╌ reina was born in vancouver, canada, where she
    grew up for the first thirteen years of her life
    before her family decided to pack up and move
    to korea to be closer to her grandparents.
╌ she struggled with her self-image and it only
    worsened after she arrived in korea as she felt
    out of place. the difficulties of learning korean
    in a much more fluent level was also stressful
    for her. however, when she turned fifteen, she
    found the style that worked for her and boosted
    her confidence massively.
╌ reina made a vow to never date anyone as she
    saw what heartbreak can do to people with her
    older sister, however, things did not to according
    to plan when she became a trainee and met him.

╌ her friends often made jokes about her canadian
    roots which she never understood. she would
    laugh along but behind closed doors she would
    question as to why they found it funny when it
    was her birthplace and the city she considers her
    true home.
╌ her grandparents were very unsupportive of her
    dreams to become an artist/idol. they believed
    her talents would be put to better use if she went
    to university and studied something like law or
    medicine. although reina was good at those things,
    she wanted to become stable in a career she
    knew she would enjoy more.
