▎STORYLINE ⦂ day 1, systematic flaws
    ⵢ the start of NIGHTINGALE's storyline
       begins in a controlled society where
       people are grouped together and are
       expected to follow every rule with no
       questions asked. six boys are grouped
       together and called THE RAVENS, and
       this is where everything begins. soon,
       the boys begin finding flaws in their
       society's system and are now figuring
       out a way to destroy it and find a way
       to leave.

       of NIGHTINGALE, with the guidance of
       both HOYEON and ASHTON. the boys
       said that they wanted a light hearted
       track to promote alongside the title,
       and figured the best way to go about that
       was to create a song where they refer
       to the listeners/fans as their best friends.

       later revealed during an interview
       that he can't stand the saying 'double
       dare' because it reminds him of how
       many times he had to both sing the
       chorus as well as the amount of takes
       it took to make sure the layering for
       the final song sounded good.

       with the intentions on keeping it for
       CRYPTIC, however, after hearing the
       demo for the title track, he decided to
       hand over the song to NIGHTINGALE.

    ⵢ when NIGHTINGALE had just been formed
       and were preparing for the album recordings,
       ASHTON and JASON were asked to quickly
       write a song for the album. they were given
       no theme whatsoever, so DRY ICE is a song
       formulated by the feeling of being cold. the
       dance break section after the chorus was
       created by ASHTON, while most of the lyrics
       were written by JASON. they believe that
       it's one of their best songs.

    ⵢ believe it or not, REINA was the person
       behind this track. it was originally written
       in a female key and was meant to be
       given to ATLANTIS under a different name
       but she was asked if it could be altered and
       used for the company's newest boy group.
       she agreed as she believes the badass vibe
       better suits a male group, especially one
       with a concept like NIGHTINGALE.
