As the group of three made their way down the dark ally way down to the dungeon after

An interesting first day of classes. Harry and Ron managed to be late to transfiguration even though they were right with Violet the whole time, and violet was early to class. Violet was lost for word on how stupid her new friends could be.

After the walk down the dungeon, they finally made it to Snapes Classroom.

"Phew we made it" Harry exclaimed

Violet silently agreed by nodding her head. As soon as they got settled down, the three sitting at one of the cauldrons in the front row. So far there has been no talking between the two rival houses, just the distant stares from Penny, Hiro, and Wilbur who just so happened to be sitting at the cauldron next to the three Gryffindors.

Pennys POV

As Hiro, Wilbur and I made our way down to the dungeon we were talking about how we can start a conversation with Violet, our best friend, which shouldn't be that hard, but it is. Maybe if she wasn't in Gryffindor our rival house, or if she didn't hang out with Harry Potter so much talking to her would be easier.

Not that her family was one of those families who were against muggle-borns, or herself against Gryffindors. Maybe the reason that they are finding it hard to talk to violet is that they are afraid of admitting to violet that they hide this secret from her, and they shared everything together, even if it would get one in trouble. Main things will get worse if we don't fix things soon, she might not even be mad at us for keeping this secret since she knows how high the consequences are for telling someone whos a muggle that you have magic abilities. But she might get mad for them just ignoring her, wow they need to talk to her ASAP.

"So guys we really need to talk to Violet," I exclaimed fingering the strap of my bookbag.

"I know but she probably will be mad at us, for not telling her before. She probably doesn't even want to talk to us ." Hiro replied

"I mean yeah I know I would be pretty mad at us if I was in her shoes" Wilbur added.

"But guys! She might not even be mad at us! But she might start to be if we just ignore her! I thought you guys were better than this!!" I exclaimed

"Touche" Wilbur stated

"Wilbur stop using your signature phrase," I replied

"But it's his signature phrase, he isn't Wilbur if he doesn't say it" Hiro joked. I had to laugh at that. \

"But seriously we should just stop this fear we are creating, and just talk to her. We shouldn't ruin the friendship we had for ten years! " I exclaimed

"hmm I guess you are right" Hiro replied

"I'm always right" I rolled my eyes playfully

" let's talk to her in potions" Hiro suggested

"If Snape will even let us" Wilbur laughed.

The trio walked the rest of the way down to Snape's classroom in silence, when they got there the only open cauldron was in the front row, the cauldron next to Violets. They didn't want to talk to her yet in fear that Professor Snape may come in at any moment. I mean even though he is the head of our house doesn't want to get on his bad side when he doesn't even know us that well yet! So Hiro, Wilbur and I just talked among ourselves until the class began.

Harry POV

I was actually pretty excited for potions class but I don't like that Professor Snape is the one teaching it and that we have it with the Slytherins, but there isn't much I can do about it. I love that this is just my second day at Hogwarts and I already have two good friends which are way more than I have ever had in my life. Although Violet seems kind of shy and sad but maybe that is just her hair making her look that way.

While Ron, Violet and I were talking I saw Violet's "old" best friends walk together looking over at Violet, probably thinking of ways to go up and speak to her. I honestly hope they do it soon, I know Violet isn't mad at them, but I know she will soon be if they just ignore her. Violet doesn't talk that much but she did say they have been friends for ten years, And friendships like that should not be broken up because of a misunderstanding.
