Roommates

Third Person POV:
Princess Yuna was walking along the long corridors, puzzled whether she was going the right way to the dorm hall.  She found a maid cleaning the paintings and asked her if she can show her the way to the dorms.  When she reached the dorms, she thanked the maid and went inside the massive room with other princes. The room had six beds with curtains around each one to respect their privacy, two washrooms, a big chandelier, and a large window showing the view of the school grounds.  The other princes were unpacking, talking, and some were just bickering.

"Be quiet! This may be our room, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't have manners." Said Wakiya, complaining to Rantarou and Valt who were chasing each other.

Yuna just smiled and was taking in the sights and sounds.  Shu was engrossed in a book while Lui was just unpacking his clothes.  She was about to lift the trunks when a voice called out to her.

"Yuna, do you need any help with those?" asked Prince Valt, with a kind voice.

"No thanks, I can take care of it on my own." Yuna replied, with a little annoyance in her mind.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive. "

Yua bended the water out of the canteen on her waist to lift the three large trunks which was miraculously staying dry.  The room stared at her in awe (and some tried to hide it, but failed miserably) as she folded her clothes, also with water.  It was getting late and it was time to got to bed.

Shu's POV:
Yuna was unpacking her trunks and I was still stunned by her powers.  I still don't understand how her belongings are not drenched by now.  I quickly snapped out of it and went back to reading my novel.

"Oi dork! You're sitting on one of my trunks." said the obnoxious voice of Shirosagijo Lui.  Without a reply, I stood up and sat on my bed and resumed my reading.

"Nerd." Lui mumbled.  It was quiet, but it was loud enough for Shu to hear.

"What did you call me?" Shu asked in a calm yet threatening manner.

"You heard me right, I don't read books.  I'm not a NERD like you." Lui talked back.

"I'm not a nerd."

"Yeah you are."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

The boys continued bickering while Yuna started rubbing her temples. "Shut your traps!!" She shouted.  The whole room was mildly stunned she spoke up first.  Yuna used the water to separate the two boys and moved them on each side of the room. "If you can't get along, stay away from each other." she said.  The whole room just went back to doing their business, while Shu noticed Yuna walking uneasily.

Yua's POV:
After I separated the two, I started feeling dizzy. I ignored it and just went to my bed.  I brought out a small gold chest and opened it.  I got the ground crystal-sea water, cringed at the salty taste, and let it sink in.

"Yuna, are you OK?" Asked a kind voice.  I opened my eyes to see crimson orbs staring at me.

"Yes I'm fine.  Just tired is all" I replied.  My hands started shaking and my head was throbbing, and unfortunately, I knew what that meant.  I quickly stood up to go the medical wing of the school and was met by a nurse arranging herbs.

"Princess Yuna, do you need your medicine?" asked the nurse.  I nodded in reply and just sat down.  The nurse gave me the medicine and I twisted my face in disgust as I tasted it.  I thanked her and went back to the room.

Shu's POV:
When she just left the room, I was stunned.  I thought something fishy was going on, but I ignored it.  A few minutes later, Yuna came back and looked better.  When she entered the room, she just went to her bed and closed the curtains.  Huh, that was strange. I thought.  It was getting late anyway.  We said quiet goodnights and we went to bed.  I wasn't able to sleep a wink, the room was pitch-black but I was wide awake.  I then heard footsteps going toward the window but I didn't see who it was.  I got up and went to the window as well

Third Person POV:
Yuna wasn't able to sleep.  She was still aching after the medicine.  She went to the window as quiet as she could.  A few seconds later, Shu got up and walked to the window.

"Can't sleep either?" Asked Shu.  Yuna was a little startled but collected herself.  She turned around to be met by bright crimson hued that shone in the moonlight.  His crimson eyes shone like an endless abyss of velvety roses that one can just stare at for eternity, but she didn't.

"Yeah." She replied dryly.  Shu walked to her and sat down.

The silence between them was slightly awkward, but they didn't know what to say.

"I've always liked the moon." Shu said out of the blue.

"Huh?" Yua questioned.

"It's bright light gives the city a soft glow and sometimes, it seems like it's smiling at me" Shu said.  He closed his eyes to bask in the warm glow of the gentle moonlight.  Yuna just stared at him.  His pale skin and milky white hair made him look so pure.  His crimson orbs are hidden behind those pale eyelids, just waiting to see the world again.  A light pink shade dusted her cheeks as she stared at him.

"Well it's getting late, I should go I sleep." she said, getting up.  Shu opened his eyes and looked straight at her ocean-like hues.

"Yeah you're right.  We should go to sleep now." He replied.  They said their goodnights and went to sleep.
