finn had gotten up bright and not so early at 11 am. he had stumbled over to the bathroom and quickly brushed his curls out a bit, getting ready as fast as he possibly could.

his parents were out of town for the first month of sunmer. besides, who would want to take care of a teen boy and a little girl instead of going out on vacation?

you see, the issue with this was that finn had to watch his younger sister.

river wolfhard could be a brat at times, but everyone else found the nine year old adorable. her and finn had an okay relationship for the most part- but when it came to actually taking care of the child- finn couldn't even attempt at doing that.

and now here he was, stuck bringing his little sister to a meet up with his friends.

he looked down at the girl. "are you ready to go now." the boy asked.

river shook her head and went to the bathroom, getting a hair brush and handing it to finn.

finn gave her a confused look. "what do i do with this?" river rolled her eyes at this. "braid my hair, you dummy." she said.

finn slowly nodded and brushed river's hair, braiding it quite messy. "it looks awesome." finn quickly said in a desperate attempt to just get river to hurry up already.

soon river had gotten out of the house after finn had grabbed his skateboard. the girl had brought her beauty and the beast themed bicycle along, which finn tried to argue against but she insisted on it anyway. he soon had arrived to the park, a smile on his face as he waved to his friends.

jack grazer was the first one to speak up. "you brought your sister?" he asked.

"yeah. kinda had too." finn shrugged.

"oh, damn."
