The next big thing of the training camp was midnight training, where those who weren't in supplementary classes paired off; the opposite class hiding in the woods.
Class 1-A drew numbers to figure out their partners, and truth be told, Izuku was buzzing. Everyone was at one point or another in actuality, until they found out who their partner was. Izuku didn't have a partner yet, but neither did Adaliah. Her new...accomplice was in the extra classes since he transferred in late (He was sure the purple haired alpha didn't miss the triumphant smiles aimed his way), meaning Adaliah was alone for the night.
His sweet omega, who was looking at her slip of paper with a small tilt of her head, looked oh-so lonely. He wondered what she was thinking about. He hoped it was him.
"Hey, puppy!" He called, watching her poke her head up. She smiled softly, watching as he walked over. "What number do you have?"
She flipped her page around, and he swore his heart stopped as he preened in absolute joy. He had never, ever been so happy to see the number eight in his life. When he showed her his own page, he was sure he was sent into cardiac arrest when she smiled a little brighter.
"Great! I'm glad I'm not with a total stranger than." She bashfully smiled, rubbing the back of her neck.
Oh how little she knew. He knew every little bit about her from the type of fabric she preferred to use in her nests, what kind of pens she liked, even what size of undergarments the omega wore (I'm sorry! I had to bring back closet perv! Izuku!).
"Shitty Deku!" Bakugo called to them, gesturing to Todoroki behind him. "Switch with me! I can't stand being with shitty icy hot!"
"Kacchan, I'm not sure I can-" Izuku snarled under his breath, thanking the heavens that Adaliah was too occupied watching Mandalay.
He wouldn't trade even if it meant fighting with Kacchan. What was one less obstacle anyway?

"Do you guys smell that or am I just having a stroke?" Izuku watched Adaliah sniff the air some more, furrowing her brows. Most groups had gone already, leaving a select few, himself and the omega included. His nose furrowed as smoke invaded his own sense of smell (They all had to wear scent blockers for this training exercise).
He doubted that was what was supposed to happen.
She paused again before looking around in a panic. "Izuku, where's Kota?!"
Kota? Oh, that pup-Come to think of it, he hadn't seen the pup in a while. That almost worried him. The white-ette, before anyone could stop her, was dashing off in the direction of Kota's hideout, ignoring a reptile looking villain and his counterpart. Iida and Izuku both shouted after her, only the latter escaping prying hands and following her.
He could see the soft glow of her stripes, his own electric sparks ticking around him as he quickly caught up with her. She shouldn't be doing this but as of right now there was nothing he could do to stop her. He could see her practically tripping over herself as she tried going faster, further, anything to get to Kota the quickest way possible.
When he came into view, it was obvious the two would be in action far sooner than either anticipated. A small golden orb smacked the villain in the face, detouring him just long enough for Izuku to dive in and save Kota.
"You, you both I recognize." The villain sneered. He watched the white-ette slide behind the green haired male, a snarl ever present on her features. Her fangs were bared nice and sharp and he could see her eyes flicker between their dull yellow into a feral gold.
Adaliah Chisaki was her name. Interesting omega from what he had heard. The young pup was hugging her waist tightly, burying himself into her back as she sneered angrily.
"She gets to live, you," He pointed to Izuku, who snapped his teeth with a feral growl. "You do not, Midoriya." Muscles and tendons encased his arms as he seemingly powered up his quirk, Izuku defending as he tried for another head on punch.
The alpha was quickly punched into his own crate while the villain smirked at Adaliah. She wavered, if slightly, before slipping into the horrifying mask she was growing to dislike.
"Can't wait to see a pretty little thing like you bleed a little before taking you in." He smirked. She returned it, crouching as streams lit up her eyes. "Funny, I was going to say the same thing to you."
Firing an orb into the ground just below his feet, she called on the training she had from the commission, going in feet first as the villain yelped, trying to get the dirt out of his eyes. His head whipped to the side as her legs wrapped around his neck, using her momentum to throw him over. Of course, she was quickly grabbed, a large hand holding her by her throat.
"God, you really think you're fighting for something right? That you are getting vengeance for that kid's parents, hmm? They didn't die for a grudge you know, giving me a fake eye and all, oh no. Just some good ol' bloodlust." She was thrown into the wall, making her head smack against the wall. Izuku took the opportunity, using an anger filled hit to fuel his next punch to full power.
How could he not avenge the love of his life?! She was hurt! She was probably bleeding, god forbid concussed (If she was he might just kill this good for nothing villain). Throwing caution to the wind, he powered up 100% of his quirk, delivering an hit that actually landed. The wind of the attack was harsh, but a part of him didn't really care at that point in time. He had landed a hit and it it weren't for the shattering of his arm bones, he would've done it again.
Looking over, his heart dropped as he watched Adaliah run to the edge jumping for something, she pulled it back (Revealing the pup), using her wings-- which ripped through her shirt-- to help her out. Kota wrapped his arms around her waist when she staggered onto her butt, squeezing her tightly as she threw her head back.
"Fuck, Izuku, we don't have the power for a battle of this caliber. Even if we did-" Adaliah paused, swallowing as she tried searching for an answer. "We're between a rock and a hard place."
"Not necessarily." Izuku skid to kneel in front of the two. "I'll distract him, both of you run."
A part of him was tempted to turn that into an alpha command, especially with the way Adaliah looked at him, like she was ready to disobey and find some other stupid, self-sacrificing, method to get around this. Then, she seemed to get an idea. Her eyes lit up and she stood, keeping Kota behind her.
"Izuku, do you remember what happened at I-expo?" He nodded, making her continue. "If we can find a way to replicate that, we may stand a chance."
Was she offering a way to become interlocked with her? Quirk chained with quirk? He, nor her, could quite place how exactly they originally did their attack at I-expo, where their quirks seemingly mixed into one co-linked quirk, but it was seemingly incredibly powerful.
She turned to Kota, looking down at him. "Kota, you're going to run and get help." She left no excuse for argument, much like a mother or dam would with their pup.
Neither actually got to say anything more, the villain recovering far quicker than either could prepare for. Izuku tried stalling him as Adaliah urged her quirk forward. It sparked and spit, sputtering before it could barely reach an inch past her.
Izuku took Kota while Adaliah took to the air to dodge, both narrowly missing attacks directed at them. The training from earlier had drained them to the point of near exhaustion, and this wasn't helping anything.
'Fuck, come on! Don't be so useless now quirk-'
"Izuku!" She watched as the alpha met the villain head on, shouting at Kota. She had this very limited moment in time. If Izuku lost now, All might's power would be lost. Izuku himself would die.
Landing swiftly in front of Kota, she took a breath, pushing her boundaries and quirk. It fizzled a few more times, making her panic. And then water smacked the villain in the face.
The streams of light shot forward, Izuku's quirk lit up with pink electricity that popped and soft golden outlines. He let out a shout but it was a buzz.
"Holy shit- holy shit- holy shit- " Adaliah paused her running to Izuku, turning to Kota momentarily. "Don't repeat that."
The pup ignored her, following her as she ran to where Izuku stood, a soft growl leaving him. He caught Adaliah either way, kneeling so Kota could nuzzle into both of them.
"You're my heroes. Thank you."
Both teens looked at each other, confirming what they heard before they laughed lowly. They were the heroes to the very boys who swore them, and quirks entirely, off.
No matter what happened tonight, they were heroes to someone.

Chirping, Adaliah narrowly avoided a belt of fire that clipped her wings. She decided she was going to fly ahead, while Izuku stuck with Kota, looking for some form of pro or help in the very least.
She was sure she had at least a little head trauma, and should not have been flying, but you only live once right? YOLO or some shit, she didn't know.
She groaned as she rolled from her back, where she most likely landed on her wings wrong, to her stomach. "It's times like this I wished I was like my dad."
"A regal pro hero-"
"I'm gonna stop you right there because no. Dead. I wish I was dead." She groaned, looking up before swallowing her spit as she immediately recognized the turquoise eyes glaring at her.
