Adaliah liked keeping her private life...Well, private.
Aside from Katsuki (And now Shouto, Iida and Denki, she supposed), none of her classmates knew of or knew her brother. And she liked it that way.
Though when her peers talked about their parents, she felt a pang of guilty anger; not against them or Kai, but in a way about herself. No one knew about her "broken" home, and don't get it wrong, she loved that, but it still was like salting a wound. They talked about their moms and dads singing songs, reading stories and everything like that.
Adaliah didn't do that. She fought for food scraps for her and her brother, learned harsh lessons young and went through the gauntlet. She held resentment towards no one other than her mother, but still, listening to their stories made something uneasy set in her gut.
Looking back to her childhood, Adaliah could spot a multitude of things wrong with it. The hero's commission made them learn to fight young only to pit them against one another for favor. Her mother turned a blind eye when older boys got to close, hands travelling places she didn't want nor permit. But Kai was always a good positive in her life in the very least.
Shaking her head, she tossed a jar of tomato sauce into the blue basket on her elbow, walking further down the isle. She occasionally plucked a pack of spices or a can of broth from the shelf, eyes scanning prices and labels quickly. Kai was picking up whatever protein he wanted, the two more likely than not would be able to do something with what he picked.
Looking down, she hummed, rubbing the space between Aspen's ears. She officially completed training and was now a proud Psychiatric service dog, vested and all, sitting nicely beside Adaliah. She followed diligently when the omega walked forward, and whenever a male got to close to her, Aspen wedged her way in between them.
She was a good dog, that was for sure.
Reaching into a small pouch clipped onto her purse, she used her fingers to snap a biscuit in half, giving it to Aspen before grabbing a can of mushroom broth.
"You have a dog?"
Shooting up her head, Adaliah smiled, dropping the can in her basket as she turned. Shoto quirked a brow at the pooch who sat between him and the omega. The dog had ruby eyes that watched as he shifted his weight, white-furred ears flicking.
"She's a service dog." Adaliah bashfully admitted, scratching the back of her neck as her head tilted. "With all that's going on lately it kind of brought up some...Not so great memories, so Aspen here is trained to assist me in day to day life."
Shoto hummed. A service dog for mental disabilities. Was it PTSD? Maybe just anxiety gone to far? He didn't know-- but that didn't mean he wouldn't find out. Making a mental note to get a hold of her medical records (Being a Todoroki had some perks after all, especially when no one could deny a fat wad of bills), Shoto bent down to the dogs level, watching carefully as the pet sniffed his hand. She backed away right after, waiting for the go ahead from Adaliah.
In a way, when Shoto first saw the dog, he immediately was thinking of getting rid of it. Anything that took her attention away from him was a nuisance that needed to be dealt with. But, since it was a service animal, if Shoto could earn it's- her? The dog was a her, yes?-- trust, it would come to him if Adaliah needed help beyond her control.
That would work, he decided.
Adaliah had reached back into the small pouch on her bag, pulling out the other half of the biscuit she originally snapped off. She gave it to Shoto, who took it reluctantly, nodding a go-ahead towards the dog.
"Aspen loves those things. She can sense your uneasy, so she's giving you space to adjust accordingly." Adaliah explained, easing the alpha as he gave the dog the treat.
She took it gently, nudging his hand with her nose right after before eating it.
Shoto smiled softly before standing, reaching for a random can with a stretch. He had to have a reason for coming to this isle. Right? "My sister needed something for dinner tonight when I saw you. Just thought I'd say hi."
Adaliah nodded with a bright smile. "Glad you did. Nice seeing you Shoto, say hello to your sister for me."
She turned, Kai waving at her from the end of the isle.
"You don't even know her?" Shoto wondered aloud. Why was she saying hi to his sister? Was he not enough for her?
"Don't need to. She's gotta be amazing if she's your sister." Adaliah threw over her shoulder, giggling as her and Kai walked out of sight.
Shoto kept his smile until he was sure she wasn't returning, chucking the can somewhere behind him as he pulled out his phone.
"Touya, I need something."

Dabi became a villain for one reason and one reason alone. To kill Endeavor.
Not dig up medical records for his brother about some girl.
Alas, here he was.
Walking through the lobby, disguise pulled on tight, he snuck his way to the 'Employee's only' room, immediately scanning shelf after shelf. He stopped at 'C', pulling out the, alarmingly, heavy box and flipping through that too.
Chipkrey
Chiques
Chirajo
Chithut
Wait.
Looking through the folders again, Dabi furrowed a brow. Right from R to T. What about S?
Chisaki? Where were you?
He had heard the last name before- both as an up and coming miracle doctor and a thorn in Shigaraki's side-- and figured the Chisaki family name was important to someone. This was the last hospital that either of them were treated at, so why wouldn't they be there?
Unless...They were classified information. If they were classified, that meant something deeper, darker was going on there. Something that people in power didn't want getting out.
Dabi was too invested to back out now he supposed.
Leaving the box, he made his way to the very back, lighting a cigarette with his finger. He pulled a drag from it, exhaling a puff of smoke right after, before coming across another box of interest. This one was much lighter, thank god, and felt nearly empty.
But the bright red letters on the side had Dabi aching to know if it was.
And like magic, it wasn't. Two small folders sat on the inside, both with the name Chisaki typed in at the top. The folders seemed more empty than the box they sat in, each only having one sheet inside.
Dabi rolled his eyes at the stupid coincidence of it all, laying the one from the female's file on the ground and pulling out his phone.
Name: Adaliah Chisaki
D.O.B.: April 1st, 20XX
Sex: Female
Second Gender: Omega (Previously thought to be Beta, but omegan signs appeared age seven)
Emergency contacts:
Kai Chisaki: 780-***-**32
Tsunagi Tanaki: 780- ***-**86
*Do not contact Tsunagi unless absolutely necessary*
* Patient suffers from anxiety attack and violent episodes from Sexual abuse in her younger years.
* Patient refuses to have male physicians-- doesn't like males touching her.
* Patient has been seen to withdraw herself from activities or shut-down completely, refusing to be touched by anyone.
* Has distrust of others, hyper-fixates on injuries (Somatic issues), and troubles focusing.
* Patient refuses to talk about her childhood, or the abuse surrounding it. Do not bring this up if she already feels unsafe. She will find ways to hurt you.*
Dabi shivered as he read over the file, sending it to both Shoto and Shigaraki. He hadn't even met the girl and she already sounded dangerous. Too dangerous for him in the very least. She sounded unhinged, fragile, like society couldn't quite place her in the heroes or villains razor edge she was tiptoeing on.
Maybe that was why his alpha demanded to see her.

Denki: What do you call it when Spider-man climbs up walls?
Adaliah: If you say 'Aracnobatics' I'll hurt you.
Denki: I was going to say 'Peter Parkour' but I like yours better
-
Adaliah: Do you ever wonder what your future mate is doing?
Shoto: What are you doing?
-
Nezu: You know you can die from that, right?
All might, over using his quirk: Yea.
Aizawa, drinking: We're trying to speed this up.
Adaliah, eating raw cookie dough: *Nods*
