When school resumed, Class 1-A was in shambles.
To put it nicely.
Things were thrown, alphas were snapping, teachers were crying and all for what? A missing omega?
Katsuki found himself smirking to himself as he watched Deku and glasses pass passive aggressive insults each others way, like the other knew where the omega was. But why would they know? She wasn't theirs. She was his. And he knew where she was rightfully so.
She wouldn't be back in class until Heroics started after lunch, since she was in downtown Kamino getting her cast off by a specialist. She and him texted each other last night, the omega explaining that the doctor was meant to give her back motoric movement with accelerated healing; that way she could preform in the sports festival. He growled when he read she was still aching to be in that damned festival, but carried on like he didn't want to rip out his sinuses with a rusted fork at the thought of her getting hurt.
His smirk dropped. Was he really getting soft and for what? This girl he found at a park years ago? He supposed he was. He stuck by her for so long, and she returned the favor. Hell, he would challenge that any one of these fuckers knew her favorite color (It was ruby red), or her favorite movie (An American movie called Divergent because he was apparently like Four? Whoever that was.) or even her favorite cereal (Cookie Crisps)! He knew all of that and more.
He knew she didn't like being touched, he knew she hated early mornings for no reason other than thats when her handler would train her, he knew she loved climbing trees as it gave a chance to escape and all they knew was her name and appearance. Nothing more. So yes, maybe he was soft. But he had reason to be. He knew things about her that Kai didn't even know. He would always know Adaliah. Not Chisaki or Liah. Adaliah as a whole.
The lunch bell rang while he was in thought, signaling the end of lunch. He stood with quick movements, power-walking out of the lunch hall (Disposing of his tray and garbage on the way out) before making his way to the 1-A classroom, already softening his smirk when he slammed open the door. A chirp was heard out of surprise, but the vanilla scent lacing the room didn't change.
"'Bout fucking time, 'mega." Katsuki chuckled, dropping his bag by his desk before walking to hers. She sat beside fucking Deku of all people, but she was only a step behind him, meaning he couldn't really complain. He was close enough to her to get to her if things should go haywire.
His hands were held out for hers, which she gave him, allowing him to hold and scan over her previously broken arm. While it should've still been in a cast for most people, she was lucky enough to be in contact with the newer, more powerful healing quirks of the new generation-- Kai being in medical school and giving her those contacts. But still, she couldn't fix everything.
While originally, they assumed no scarring was going to happen, several tracks were on the underside of her arm, littering the once perfect skin. They were soft and almost unnoticeable but Katsuki could see them. See where each vein started and ended, could trace every marking.
He wanted to go and kill that handyman himself. Kill him for procuring such a fucking creature that almost took down one, two, three amazing fighters permanently and was still able to screech after it was imprisoned.
God, Katsuki wished he could've gotten his hands on that Nomu-thing.
"Liah-babe!" A pink flurry pounced on the omega, nearly pushing her out of her chair, earning an angry growl from Katsuki, even if it was ignored. The beta was more less just happy that she could step two steps without fear of an alpha rioting against her. Nonetheless, she relished in the hug for the few moments she could have.
She was lucky Bakugo hadn't thrown her off at this point.
Not wanting to push her luck, she let go, letting Adaliah greet the rest of her class, getting nods and such.
Katsuki eventually snapped, growling at everyone to back off. She was looking closer and closer to being overstimulated, her hands speeding up as they fiddled with one of the buttons on her shirt.
They didn't have much of a choice either, Aizawa making his entrance. His dead eyes were hidden behind layer after layer of bandages, so no one could tell where he was looking.
To be fair, he didn't want anyone knowing. He watched as each of his students tripped over each other to get to their seats. The female they were all falling over seemed to relax, fiddling with her hands; cast free. That was good.
That meant she could preform on recorded television.
Shaking his head, Aizawa moved on. His students expressed worry for his well being, brushing them off.
"My well being is irrelevant, however, you all have more to go through. "
"What fucking more could there be?!" Bakugo snarled, head rolling back as he sat in his chair lazily.
Adaliah snuffed a laugh from her spot, watching as the ash-blond snarled, looking at her. "Katsuki, the sports festival is still a thing."
Izuku laughed with her, only to tip backwards in his chair when Bakugo snapped on him.
That brought a small smile to Aizawa's face, only for it to fade when Adaliah helped him back up. He forced himself to continue before he growled.
"Like Chisaki said, the sports festival is coming. And before you all go off-- Like I know you will--the administration believes the festival is a good way to show the threat of villains has been taken care of. Security will be increased, of course, because this event is not something that can be cancelled just because of one unfortunate class. " Aizawa concluded.
Mineta snorted from his place behind Midoriya, moving to stand on his chair. "Yeah, I get that security will be beefed up, but I'm not necessarily looking to die?"
"This can't be canceled because of one class, Mineta." Adaliah turned in her chair, her everlasting patience admirable. "The sports festival is a way for Pro heroes to scout out future interns or sidekicks while also giving the public a chance to see the next generation of heroes."
One of her hands played with her bangs, twirling it around her finger.
"Exactly. After graduating, people join agencies that have scouted them during the sports festival as sidekicks until they make it as pros-"
Denki was interrupted by Jirou who snickered while playing with her earphone jack in the similar manner Adaliah was playing with her hair. "Not you though. You're kind of...Stupid?"
Denki deflated easily, Adaliah pausing her playing with her hair.
"What do you mean?" The white-ette questioned, eyes glaring in front of her, refusing to look at
Jirou.
And whether the girl noticed it, her chest hurt at the though of Adaliah not looking at her. She could save herself right? She didn't know, but she needed her to look at her, even if it was with malice. "Well, have you seen his quirk's drawback? It kills his braincells-"
"Yes, yes, I've heard of his drawback and what it does. But that doesn't mean he's stupid. My drawback makes me super sick, does that mean I don't know how to take care of myself? No. It means it's a temporary bind we're put in until our body can heal ourselves." Her eyes snapped to Jirou, narrowed on the the girl. "Denki isn't stupid. His drawback makes him physically unable to do many motory functions the brain is responsible for; such as speaking, or comprehending problem properly. It's not stupidity, it's his brain healing itself before he hurts himself further. Denki has the same opportunities we do, so it's unfair to assume his future due to his drawback."
She huffed when she finished, turning back to stare at her lap.
Silence surrounded the classroom before Aizawa moved on.
Though is was tense for those few seconds, Aizawa couldn't help but smile behind his bandages when he turned. He was glad the girl was back.
"Now put your textbooks away, time for a pop quiz."

Turning the key in the lock and opening the door, Adaliah huffed under her breath, dropping her backpack on the ground before closing the door behind her and flopping on the couch. Aspen pranced up to her, getting the desired pets before laying beside the couch.
Adaliah groaned, dragging a hand down her face. She was ready for a nap and planned on taking it, until her phone rang.
Looking to the screen, the name Tsunagi popped up, making her groan angrily. Picking up her phone, she slid the answer button, pressing it to her ear.
"Tsunagi."
"Chisaki. I think you know why I'm calling."
Adaliah hummed in response, moving to stuff the pillows of the couch behind her head, pulling the blanket on the couch over herself.
"Good. That means I won't need to tell you the consequences of not being on top. Get on that final place podium Adaliah, and there won't be an issue."
She nodded to herself, curling into the blanket with a nod. "Yeah, I know. I have homework, I'll call you later."
"I mean it, Chisaki. Fall below third and it won't be pleasant for anyone."
Adaliah merely hung up, tossing the phone on the coffee table before laying on her side, eyes sliding close as her stomach tightened.
She fell into a dreamless sleep until Kai came home.

Izuku: Every time I inhale I feel my spine pop.
Adaliah: And every time we kiss I swear I can fly.
-
Adaliah: I do what I want, when I want.
Katsuki: I'm telling Kai.
Adaliah: wait no-
-
Izuku: How do Kacchan and Liah get out of their messes?
Shoto: They don't.
Shoto: They just make bigger ones that cancel out the first ones.
