During the ride on the train, Kirara and Bella were sitting at the booth, just enjoying it. The sunset was beautiful as they stared at the mountain ahead. Bella was petting Kirara gently as she rested on the table in front of her. Kirara was falling asleep with Bella's petting, she always enjoyed it. Smiling gently, Bella looks to the wasteland in front of her.

"I wonder where we're gonna expect in Tenebrae?" Bella quietly asks looking down at Kirara who was obviously asleep. "I wonder if it's still in one piece..."

Thinking back a little bit, she was wondering why she saw those two... She didn't mind seeing them – she missed them so much but at the same time – why? Letting out a small breath, she looks back outside not seeing Gladio walk by them. She began humming quietly under her breath. Closing her eyes gently, she begins thinking of a time she had with them. She had with everyone here, and it was marvelous in her mind – despite the fighting that occurred not long ago.

Men and their pride – it always seemed to confuse her, even when Zack and Cloud did it. Sure – there were differences, but still... Sighing a little bit, she opens her eyes and sees everyone sitting still, gasping a little bit, she stands up then quickly moves when "Ardyn" moves around her.

"C'mon, Noct. You're scaring me! Seriously, man, cut it out!"

Ardyn passes to the next car, where Noctis continues to doggedly pursue him with Bella following him with Kirara in tow. "Noct!"

"It's not safe. Plus, you're causing a scene. Quit playing around, okay?"

Noctis catches up to him and conjures his sword once again, which he immediately takes swing with, attempting to bisect "Ardyn" again, which made Bella gasp as they try to make it to the next car.

When the door didn't want to open, Bella tries to get it open so she could stop Noctis from hurting him. Kirara changed into her sabertooth form and rammed into it, making it open. Bella grins and rushes to stop Noctis. When she finally found them both, she jumps and grabs Noctis' arm holding it tightly.

"Bella! Wha – what are you doing!?" Noctis yells out struggling to get out of her grip. "Whose side are you on?!"

"Noctis, please!" ignoring the question, Bella keeps her grip. "You're going to have to trust me, Noctis, he's..." Before she could finish her sentence, the train jerked making Noctis fall on top of Bella knocking them both out.

Gasping awake, Bella doesn't see Noctis or "Ardyn", she feels Kirara lift her up from the ground as she heals whatever was ailing Bella. Bella looks at Kirara as they both nod, her eyes shining bright she turns to the door behind her ripping it open as they both jump off and into the fray ignoring the gasps and talk the people were making.

"Did you notice...?"

Kirara nods as she runs into the MTs quickly as they began shooting and trying to bomb the train. Bella hops off and begins to attack the MTs as well with some magic, Kirara pounces on some MTs biting them in the head before they could attack. Bella turns kicking one away from her, before it exploded by her knocking her back on her own behind. Groaning, she looks up seeing an MT above her making her gasp and roll before it attacked her.

"Bella!" shouted a familiar voice making her look over seeing Noctis staring at her with Prompto. Bella looks back at the MT ready to attack her once again, blocking the view, she heard the clash of metal on metal making her look up seeing Noctis stabbing the MT above her. "You alright?"

Bella quickly nods as he holds out his hand to her making her gently grab onto his hand as he swung her towards Kirara as she flew. While flying towards Kirara, she touched her head and made her Gunblade heading towards the MT attacking the train and stabbed it. Landing on the ground avoiding the MT blowing up.

Looking up at the sky, she saw ships heading their way and she tossed her weapon into the sky jumping herself onto Kirara's back, she ignored the calls from Noctis and Prompto.

"That's not..."

"I know..."

Landing on the ship, she shifted Kirara into the Bow-Blade and began slicing through the MTs quickly. When finally beating this ship, she hops onto the next one but gasps to see her old nemesis. She pauses while looking at him.

"Genesis... When are going to stop these visits?"

Genesis chuckles and looks at her. "My friend, the fates are cruel, there are no dreams, no honor remains." He walks towards her making her stay in one spot, trying to ignore him. "The arrow has left the bow of the goddess, my soul, corrupted by vengeance."

Bella groans angrily, gripping her weapon close to her, ready to attack. But she knew – she knew how strong he was. That didn't stop her, no. It was something else, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what was keeping her from attacking him.

"Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey. In my own salvation and your eternal slumber." Genesis stops in front of her making her glare up at him all the while he smirks at her. "Legend shall speak of sacrifice at world's end. The wind sails over the water's surface... Quietly, but surely..."

"You and your... irritating LOVELESS poems..." Bella sputters out irritation, letting out a choked breath when he brings his fingers to her chin lifting it to make her look at him. "I don't care how accurate they are..."

"So young and so naïve..." Genesis told her, keeping his smug look. "You'll learn. Soon."

When she blinked, he was gone making the breath she was holding – release. Bella growls feeling the ship go down, she releases Kirara as she looks around seeing the ship going down. Kirara looks at Bella grabbing her arm quickly throwing her out and bringing her down to the train. With that, Bella was knocked back into reality, she looks down seeing Noctis knock down Prompto.

"No!"

Kirara roars loudly seeing Ardyn knock out Noctis while Kirara lands and Bella rushes to him ready to punch him, but before she could attack, he disappears making her gasp as she began falling but quickly caught herself but fell to her knees. The nekomata looks around for any sign of him while Bella quickly gets up, crawling to Noctis' aide quickly. Sitting next to his head, she moves her hands around it, lifting his head to her chest while she cuddles it.

"We'll get him back, I promise..." She mutters to him as she lays her head down on his forehead closing her eyes. "We'll bring him back..."

What felt like hours – even though it was a mere forty-five minutes – Noctis begins to stir awake. Noctis leans up from his spot and looks around, he sees Bella sitting at the edge of the train. Her legs propped against her chest with her arms wrapping around them. He turns seeing Kirara laying there watching him with her tails, whipping back and forth.

"I contacted Ignis about Prompto..." Bella's voice knocked him away from what was going on. His eyes widened as he looks at her. "He said not to worry, we have to drop off the passengers off at Tenebrae, and hopefully he'll contact us." Bella looks down at the water watching it go by. "I should've been here..."

"... It's not your fault," Noctis began standing up looking at the ocean quickly, and then looks to the tunnel. "It's Ardyn's..."

Bella's eyes well up with tears as she stands up slowly, taking a deep breath while she walks to him and hugs him around the back, keeping her grip. She had to be sure he was okay, even though he'll deny that he is. After getting closer to the tunnel, Bella releases him, and he turns to her as she looks up at him.

"..." Before he could speak to her, she puts her finger to his mouth making him blush. She smiles his way and looks in front of them seeing Daemons heading towards them, Kirara steps beside Bella as she puts her hand on her head creating her Bow-Blade, quickly knocking it back. "Ready?"

"I'm ready..." She began shooting at the ones near the train while he began attacking the Daemon running towards them, turning her back knocking back more arrows aiming at the Daemons quickly making them disappear. She turns around seeing Noctis quickly trying to defeat the Daemon in front of him. "Noct!"

He looks back and jumps as she lets go of the arrow and hits the Daemon knocking him down. They look at each other quickly heading to the front of the train. More Daemons popped up on the train running towards them, Bella growls sliding to a stop quickly shooting the arrows at the Daemons.

"Bells!"

Before she could blink, she was tossed back and landed on her rear-end knocking the breath out of her. Bella looks up seeing Noctis blocking the blow from the Daemon where she was standing. Her heart was racing wondering why she didn't see him coming. Shaking those thoughts from her head, she stands up turning her Bow into a Blade and quickly began slicing the Daemons on the train that ran up to her.

"What!?" Noctis groans out after defeating the Daemons he was facing making her pause after beating hers. "No light at the end of the tunnel!"

They had finally reached the front of the train, they looked around trying to find a way to Ignis and Gladio. Letting out a groan, she looks around seeing more Daemons popping up, she got ready to fight.

Noctis pauses as if hearing something making her look at him. "Noct... What's wr – what's going on with your eyes?"

A loud roar is heard in the distance as the Daemons drop onto the train which emerges into a rapidly disappearing daylight; the train is being swarmed as it reaches Tenebrae, Bella looks around keeping her weapon close and Noctis keeps her close. They both look around trying to fight as much as they can, but they were being overwhelmed. Suddenly, another roar is heard, both Noctis and Bella look up seeing Leviathan emerges from the valley below. Noctis instinctively grabs Bella by the waist as she keeps her grip on her weapon.

Leviathan roars again as water cyclones began swarming the valley, letting out a breath while the serpent unleashes her water coil copies began attacking the Daemons knocking Bella and Noctis off the edge of the train as Noctis hangs onto the young maiden while she keeps her grip, closing her eyes while Leviathan keeps her ongoing attack, shattering the windows and knocking the Daemons loose. The cyclone Leviathan had going sucked up the Daemons as they are knocked off the train.

"Hang on, Bells..."

"I'm trying!"

Bella keeps her grip, putting her face against his chest. When the onslaught was done, Noctis brings them both back up on the train as they both see the Sea Goddess depart, they both look at one another, both soaking.

"Are you alright?"

Bella nods, bringing her hand to his face. "I'm alright, and you?" Seeing Noctis nod bringing his own hand to put over her own, they both just stand there for a moment, thanking Eos they were not dead. Letting out a breath, they both look over and gasp seeing Fenestala Manor burning.

After the train stops, they both jump off with Kirara in tow on her shoulder. They both wait for Ignis and Gladio to walk off the train to see if they're okay. Bella and Kirara both look around wondering what they were going to do. Noctis sat on the bench waiting for them to show up, when they finally did, Bella looks back.

"Are you both alright?" asks Bella as both men nod to her making her sigh in relief. "That's good, no injuries is there?"

"Not at all," Ignis confirms making Bella sigh in relief again as she looks at Noctis and frowns a little bit.

"He's torn up..."

"He'll have to get over it," mumbles Gladio looking at him. "We'll get Prompto back."

Bella nods but before she could speak again, another voice speaks up making Bella turn around seeing another woman walking towards the group. "Well, look who's here."

"Aranea," Noctis spoke standing up looking at the silverett maiden in front of him. "Guess we've got you to thank for this mess?"

Aranea shakes her head gently, "More to it than meets the eye." She answers turning around motioning for everyone to follow her. "You wanna who to thank? Come with me."

Noctis sighs a little bit and begins following her. "Can't wait to hear this..." While Bella frowns at the thought of following her. It wasn't her place, and she knew it. As much as she wanted to be there for the King, she had to stay away. Taking a deep breath seeing some people injured.

"I'm gonna patch them up and hang back until we're ready to go, let me know when that'll be," Bella informed the men as they nod while Noctis, Ignis, and Gladio all followed her while Bella hung back to make sure everyone was alright.

When she found a little girl, Bella walks up to her and bends down in front of her. "Are you alright?"

"I can't find my daddy..." She cries gently putting her hands to her face making Bella frown. Bella stands up and looks around, then looks at Kirara. "I want my daddy!"

"Kirara, can you locate him?" whispers Bella looking at her while Kirara jumps down and sniffs the girl's leg quickly and then sniffs the air. When she mews, she quickly rushes off while Bella leans down to the girl again. "Come on, let's go find your dad, okay?"

The girl nods while Bella stands straight and holds out her hand and then they both walk in the direction of the nekomata, when they found the nekomata, Bella smiles seeing the man she was staring at, the two girls stop, and Bella looks down at the young girl again who was still crying, and Bella bends down.

"Hey, my friend just found someone for you."

"April! April where are you?!"

"Daddy?" The young girl, April, spoke and looks up seeing her daddy looking for her frantically making the little girl tear up again. "Daddy!"

The man turns seeing his little girl running to him and into his arms as they both cry with one another. Bella smiles gently as Kirara sits down with her tail swishing back and forth happy that they just found her daddy.

"What a touching reunion..."

Bella doesn't even tense up as she knew who this was. He always shows up without warning and at this point, she might as well get used to it.

"What do you want now, Genesis...?" Kirara growls lowly – but doesn't move. Not til she got the signal from Bella. "At this point, you might as well just join us and get it over with but you and I both know that it'll never happen."

"Course not, I don't play well with others, you should know that." Genesis chuckles and stays in one spot. "You remember Angeal?"

"..." Bella took a deep breath and nods slightly. "Yes... How could I forget the man who helped raise me...?"

"You know he had..."

Bella stopped him before he could finish. She glares at him as he chuckles at her, grabbing her chin making her look at him.

"Remember, My Little Butterfly, I own your soul." Genesis reminds her, letting her chin go, and walks off. Bella frowns deeply knowing he was right. He was always right. He had control over her, these damn cells.

Closing her eyes gently while gathering her thoughts, Bella tried to keep him in the back of her mind. Releasing her breath, Bella and Kirara began walking go the train, while continuing to help people.

"Dilly-Dally, Shilly-Shally," She heard Aerith's familiar voice again as she stands up turning around seeing no one behind her. "No one controls you... you are in control."

"You got this, Chibi,"

"I know..." whispers Bella with a short smile as she continues helping people. Then she hears her name being called behind her, blinking she looks back seeing the men standing there, motioning that it was time to go. "I will always get this!"

She quickly rushes to the men as they all boarded the train to their next destination.
