FIRE BREATHER.
020. | ❛ who the hell are you? ❜
The days that followed was horrendous torture for both reptilian creatures who were put to the worse conditions. Tortured for intel on Seraphina's part, anything she knew about SHIELD. The person that got the most pleasure out of it was Cassandra with Nikolai, taunting along but not really caring about the torture they were inflicted.
The water shadowed over Seraphina's head before being absorbed by her quivering, pale, shaking body that trembled every time that the dark dragons pooled the water over her. Crimson was no longer her hair color, it was the dark hazel when she drowned herself in the river. Gasping from the frigid water that clung to her skin like a coat of ice.
"Trust us, queen. We can do this all day, but we do have bosses that benefit by you staying alive." Cassandra yawned before slamming the bucket back on the ground, not filling it with water. Seraphina sighed in relief no longer being tortured anymore today. "But if you don't give us answers, then they will be angry and restore to another form of torture not that we have a problem with it."
Cassandra and Nikolai started walking away before Seraphina uttered her first words to them, "You can stop trying because not matter what torture you inflicted on me, I'll never give you want you want."
Cassandra turned her heel and scoffed, "The dragon talks, Nikolai! It funny because the torture we do will always bring us happiness especially if it's on a common enemy." She kneeled in front of Seraphina and grabbed her by her face, "By the end of this, the so called Striped guy won't even recognize his queen."
Seraphina looked straight into Cassandra's eyes going into a sly smirk, "That's if I don't kill you first."
Seraphina spit in Cassandra's face, who let go in disgust which only filled her hatred towards Seraphina. Cas looked over to Nikolai, "Fill the bucket up, serve it to her nice and cold."
Cassandra left the room slamming the door shut fiercely, Nikolai groaned at the request of his sister but left Seraphina with the lesser of two evils. But as he filled the bucket, Seraphina took her opportunity to say what she couldn't in front of Cassandra. "She's using you, Nikolai. She leaves you with the dirty work while she gets all the credit. It sucks, I imagine."
"No one cares," Nikolai sing songed while still looking at the bucket filling up with water.
"You can ignore me but you aren't like her. Claiming yourself as a dark dragon isn't you. You can't deny me of that privilege, I'm the queen of all dragons. The mother of dragons."
The water shut off as Nikolai lugged it over to Seraphina and before hoisting it up and pouring it, Seraphina spoke once more to convince Nikolai more. "You aren't dark like her, I don't believe you're that bad of a person like your sister. Trust me, what your sister says is right but the background behind was that my brother denied me of my memories and cursed me to life on Midgard. But everything else is complete lies, I know about dragons. I'm the queen of all dragons."
"If you're the queen of all dragons then what was my prior element?"
Seraphina smiled at him, "You never hurt Marilla but whenever you'd nudge her or touch her, you're skin glows. And when you filled up the water, you played with the water with the tips of your hand. It's no prior element, you're still and always will be a water dragon." She whispered at the last part, looking at him with a sympathetic smile. Ultimately convincing, Nikolai to lug the bucket over back to the sink and pouring it out.
"On days like this I wonder how a person could be so charismatic one day and malevolent another." Nikolai made his way to the door and peered over his shoulder, "I'll see you tomorrow queen." But his queen didn't sound like his sister's, it sounded like a renovated version of himself.

Seraphina was brought back to her room, more of 4 steel walls that entrapped her but nonetheless she didn't dread going back because she was reunited with Marilla. But neither of them looked great in the slightest, bruised from head to toe in various ways wasn't the sign of anything pretty and scars starting to form on their skin. Yet Marilla was more beat up than Seraphina, but she still held her own better than the queen.
"When do the people come and rescue us from our misery?" Seraphina asked in exhaustion.
"Patience is the key here, my queen. My suspects are always correct but timing was never my strong suit." But the topics quickly switched gears over back to Seraphina. "My queen, your hair. It's gotten dark. The fire has extinguished in you."
"The fire hasn't extinguished. A dragon of my magnitude knows when one is on the verge, yet they need me alive so my energy will be replenished not but much but enough to keep me alive." Seraphina reassured before asking Marilla, "Is it?" she whispered wondering if the spark that kept her going was the baby.
"Extremely well I might add," Marilla smiled.
But still the question loomed over how much longer they'd be held captive. Of course, ever since Seraphina's talk with Nikolai their treatment hasn't been so bad, not great but better.
The two decided to spend the rest of the day in silence, slowly unaware that nobody has been checking in on them. Calculating it could be have been more than an hour but a guard would pass by every thirty minutes and not one was spotted. Nudging it off as a simple time issue, Seraphina resided to sleep to have enough energy to get through the day that awaited her.
Big flickering lights creeped through the underling of the door, flashing often and footsteps could be heard as well as commands. The ounce of energy she had left she could hear the noise of gun shots. Blaring through the walls and carrying on form a while, causing the perfect situation for the two to try an escape even if it seemed like a lost cause. The guards would be distracted long enough to realize they were gone, but neither saw a possibility of them escaping their restraints.
Seraphina tried wiggling her wrists from side to side, creating a small wiggle room to break free. She kept tugging and she could feel a loosen in her left wrist, with one hard swing the restraint broke free. Unchaining herself quickly to work to unchain Marilla, it was on her last cuff that she was having difficultly with and when they started to hear sounds closer to them.
Seraphina hurried unbuckling it fast to have a fighting stance with two against one, but the person struggled opening the door giving them a couple of seconds. But when the loud pop was heard of the door, it was pretty evident in their eyes that it wasn't a guard of Hydra.
The man armed with a bow and arrow struck Seraphina as familiar, he had dark brown hair and built muscles not compared to Steve in the slightest. He held the bow and arrow directly towards them and Seraphina being the bearer of questions, "who the hell are you?"
With that question, various agents showed up behind him not Hydra ones pouting guns towards them. "Are either if you Seraphina?"
"Depends on who's asking," she responded.
"SHIELD is who's asking," the man with the arrow responded gaining a bit of an attitude. Shield came, they came to rescue her, rescue them.
"I'm Seraphina Stark/Odinson." She responded.
"Tony told me, you would say something like that. Regardless, it's your lucky day Seraphina. We're bringing you home."
Seraphina held such a relieved face hugging Marilla in gratefulness, being able to survive the terror. But the questioned remained of what happened to the others? Cassandra and Nikolai? But she didn't want overstep in a joyous occasion and just waited a while longer for the right moment.
"Is there any case where I can take my friend with me? Or at least secure her a safe trip back to Asgard?" Seraphina asked.
"It could be arranged, accommodate by Tony but yes." The bow and arrow man responded who soon got distracted by other guards bringing up a revelation.
"I have another one in here!" The guard yelled bringing curiosity to both parities, with Seraphina following against the guards wishes, Marilla close behind. But the sight was that of a woman, an unconscious woman who held long brown locks similar to those of Wanda yet somehow darker. She wasn't pale and few bruises lined up her visible arms, she was a new addition. Going to touch her, she could feel the glow coming off of her, the distinct glow separating humans from Asgardians, dragons from Asgardians. But as Seraphina got use to the different types of elements, she couldn't place her in a certain type of element. Not dark, earth, water, or air. Fire was easy to tell and she wasn't it. The only thing that could roam through her head was that she was the only, unknown dragon.
