"blueberry" ; given for his preference for blue when it comes to clothing and hair colour, especially when contrasted against his twin brother's preference for red ⸻ "smurf" ; for similar reasons as the first nickname. it's also worth noting that generally, calling eithos such affectionate nicknames may or may not result in much bloodshed. allowances are made for family members, but rarely if ever anyone else ⸻ "sonic" ; ironic, considering eithos comes off as more slow and thoughtful especially when contrasted against his twin brother

"deimos" ; after the greek god of terror. fits well with his twin brother's moniker of 'phobos,' since phobos and deimos were twins in greek mythos. the twins 'fear' and 'terror' just about sum up the vazar twins.

| 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 ;

eithos is most easily described as the 'good' twin between himself and eiran (who, incidentally, are exceptionally close, even for identical twins). his persona comes off as somewhat gentle in the sense that he isn't the most assertive of people, preferring to stick to the background and observe without directly commenting- usually he speaks through his twin brother, and they're really an effective duo. but despite his reputation as the 'gentler' of the twins, the 'soft' one in the family, he's no less vicious than any others in the vazar clan; backstabbing and enjoying it are things taught in their family from a young age, and eithos is no exception to the rule. you wouldn't know how wonderfully twisted he is at first glance, though; eithos has mastered the art of looking all winsome and melancholy, it's an innate poeticism that inevitably tends to draw people to him... to their own detriment.

vicious and sharp by nature, eithos' mind works analytically. he's an observer more than he is a man (or boy, whatever) of action; eithos is very passive in the sense that he doesn't take much control over his own life and prefers to let people walk over him. though, it's worth noting that not just anyone can walk on eithos; usually such a position is reserved for family members. people who meet eithos would be hard-pressed to do so without his twin brother somewhere in the vicinity; eithos' reliance on his brother is abundantly obvious to anyone who watches. but, of course, attempts to flatten eithos similarly will end badly for the perpetrator.

eithos' cold demeanour is reflected in his hair and expressions largely bereft of anything noticeable. when it comes to eithos, his emotions come mildly; it's rarely obvious what exactly is going through his head or heart, apart from a certain judgmental iciness that lingers in his demeanour and a vague melancholy that colours his spirit. he poses less of a stoic, untouchable figure and more of a lonely, tragic one- though of course, that doesn't necessarily reflect what eithos is really like.

and just what is eithos really like? a difficult question to answer, since what he's 'like' is so heavily influenced by the main factor of who he's around. like most people, eithos changes depending on his surroundings. most often, though, you'll see him with his brother, and in turn eithos assumes the role of complacent and compliant in deference to his twin- but make no mistake, in a hierarchy he's definitely above you.

eithos might've not been born into the family but he's every inch a vazar; when he and eiran were adopted, they fit right in with the vazar ideals of stepping on competition and appealing to people only to crush them. pleasure in pain and a penchant for causing suffering are characteristics of their family trade, and despite the apparent gentle poeticism in eithos, he exemplifies it just as much as any of his other family members do. 

| 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ;

eiran and eithos, much like the rest of their siblings, were not born into the vazar family. the result of a bad decision on their parents' parts, they were born out of wedlock and put up to the foster care system at the age of one or two. shuffled around from home to home, nobody seemed to want the twins- 'terror twins' since day one. it didn't seem like anyone would take them in, but of course veterans of raising delinquent devils medea and lazarus vazar hosted the twins for one day and already decided that they'd be adopted. with the achievement of raising two other sons under their belt, what were two more?

...ahah. turns out eiran and eithos were in a class of their own. don't get me wrong, medea in particular is well-versed in the art of discipline and raising children, and it didn't take long for the young twins to learn the rules and that they better not break them... or at least, not get caught breaking them. ah, the fond memories of skirting around the rules and carefully constructing shifts to make sure their little experiments weren't caught by their parents. but as children, eiran and eithos were brought up in what can only be called a loving family that supported and nurtured their flourishing personalities!

v corporation is the vazar family brand- what the 'v' stands for is up for interpretation, though officially it stands for 'victory.' a company built to support and work with science and medicine, it's known for its vast financial influence and scientific breakthroughs that have discovered and improved upon vaccines and other medical treatments. the lesser-known aspects of v corporation are admittedly less-than-lawful, however, and deal primarily in black market trade, organ selling, drug exchanges, and even metahuman experimentations...

for eithos specifically, though, it was a good childhood! he was lucky to have been brought up in a family and not left in the foster system for too long, and even then it's not like either of the twins can remember it all that well. still, one thing has always been constant for eiran and eithos: each other.

(adopted) mother ; medea jolliene vazar ⸻ age ; 43 ⸻ info ; posing as the matriarch of the vazar family, medea is definitely the head and bona fide ruler of their little clan. an undeniably strong force, medea is a woman who built her science and medicine empire from the ground up. an incredible woman in every way, you'd definitely prefer her as an ally than an anyway. despite her ruthlessness as a businesswoman, however, nothing could parallel her ability to raise children. it takes a lot of talent to adopt and raise five little devils- sure, one of them married into the family, but erina's been around too long not to be counted as one of their own. in terms of medea's interactions with eithos, she's accommodating for him and his shyness, and is accordingly gentle with him. aware of his sensitivities when it comes to family, medea is very good at appealing to eithos' more gentle nature- at least, gentle compared to the rest of their family. he isn't her favourite son - assuming she has one - but she knows how to best mother eithos ⸻ status ; alive, ceo of v corporation

(adopted) father ; lazarus jasriel vazar ⸻ age ; 43 ⸻ info ; the calming mediator in the family, lazarus assumes role of father with gentleness but no less power than his wife. his position as an influential politician makes for a subtler power than his wife's. supported firmly by the family name and said wife have resulted in lazarus building up a name of his own, shining brighter than the traditional image of lying politicians. it's really no surprise lazarus' gentle nature appealed to people and gave the family a good name in the world. lazarus quickly became an important part of the nation's life, but even more is he important to his family, and vice versa. lazarus is a family man and a classic house husband. he raised his children on cookies baked "with love" and serving as a shield for the children whenever they disappoint or otherwise frustrate medea. although he's often overlooked by people who look at their family as a whole, that's a big mistake; even if medea is the mind and matriarch of the family, lazarus is the heart and soul. in relation to eithos, lazarus is just as kind and fatherly towards him as he is with any of his other children; eithos in turn enjoys baking with his father and classic father-son bonding activities that lazarus rather lacks with his older sons ⸻ status ; alive, current governor of the state

(adopted) older brother ; eros vazar ⸻ age ; 28 ⸻ info ; eros is the first and certainly not last adopted son of the family, but that certainly doesn't limit him. eros was the golden child of the family, stealing hearts until his own got taken- but that's another tale of its own. with eros' silver tongue to match his golden persona, it was only natural for him assume role as heir to his father's position in politics; the art of winning people over. despite a somewhat dopey impression he might make on you, eros is just as cunning as his parents who have raised him up right, and his smile is enough to make your heart self-destruct. his words are no different; you'd definitely want to set your daughter up with eros, but unfortunately he's now unavailable- and what a blow it was to the media when it was announced to the public that eros was engaged, then married. as an older brother, eros is an excellent example for not just eithos, but all three of his younger brothers in the way that he was so excellently raised to follow in his parents' sadism and ruthlessness in the world. for eithos specifically, eros is looked up to as everything that a vazar son ought to be- it's worth noting there's no jealousy, though. eros is an excellent older brother and every bit as loving to his family as his parents... and every bit as cruel to others as them, too ⸻ status ; alive, in training to inherit lazarus' position

(adopted) older brother ; emerald vazar ⸻ age ; 24 ⸻ info ; emerald, emmy for short, is known in the family as the most volatile. his short temper knows no limits, apparently, but that doesn't lessen emerald's intelligence or capabilities whatsoever. if anything, he's learnt - thanks to mother and father dearest - how to use his natural aptitudes in the most positive ways he can. for his assertiveness and gumption he, as the second adopted child in the family, was naturally selected to follow in medea's footsteps where eros follows in lazarus'. much more openly vicious and harsh with the people around him, emerald doesn't waste time sugar-coating his nature and words. his philosophy dictates it's best to be realistic. although it is worth noting he is much kinder when it comes to family, he also isn't afraid of being blunt with them, either. admittedly, when eithos was young and new to the family, he avoided emerald at all costs. as a child eithos was made quite nervous by then-teenaged emerald's anger issues and harsh criticisms. in other words, eithos and emmy were never particularly close. fortunately with age they grew past the point of eithos being afraid of emerald, and of course they're still brothers, but it isn't as if they're especially close or anything ⸻ status ; alive, in training to inherit medea's position

(adopted) older sister-in-law ; erina vazar ⸻ age ; 26 ⸻ info ; often dismissed as just eros' wife, erina is definitely so much more. having grown up a bottom feeder, as it were, erina depended almost entirely on her stunning appearance which she carefully groomed to near-perfection to survive. it wasn't all that, though; street smarts and cleverness were necessary tools to survie, for her. and these things all put together are what caught the eye of the notorious playboy eros vazar. now with the achievement of taming such a man under her belt, erina isn't stopping anytime soon; it's not enough to marry into a rich family. hotheaded and quite intimidating, erina is out to show the world she's isn't some pretty gold digger- she just happened to fall for eros on her way to moving up the ranks. erina was accepted readily into the family, her traits fitting in well with the cutthroat nature of how the children were raised. admittedly, erina looks up to medea and the women share a special bond. when it comes to erina and eithos, it's either merciless teasing or babying him from erina, and not much in between. eithos doesn't consider himself as close to erina as he is with her husband, but he quite likes her, and she's part of the family ⸻ status ; alive, married to eros

identical twin brother ; eiran erebus vazar ⸻ age ; 18 ⸻  info ; the red to eithos' blue, eiran is everything that makes eithos complete. most pairs of things have a set order; for the vazar twins, it's eiran and eithos. eiran always comes first in eithos' life, in everything. they've been together literally since birth and nothing's about to change that. their dynamic is quite interesting, too. to any outsider, it might be difficult to decipher or interpret their switches between petty quarrels and incompehensible unison, but it's quite simple. they work as a team, completing each other. where eiran is the speaker, the mouthpiece, the heart and fire of the pair, eithos is the thinker, the observer. this pairing is the major contributor to eithos' rather lack of spine; he's never needed to stick up for himself, speak for himself, make decisions for himself- eiran's always been there to do those things for him. despite the fronts they put out to the public that might make it seem like they hate each other - arguments, petty fights, eiran bullying eithos relentlessly - it's mostly playful. you can try to take advantage of this apparent division between, but i can tell you it's not going to end well... ⸻  status ; alive, attending school with eithos. the twins are also slated to inherit the less-than-lawful aspects of v corporation

| 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 ;

amokinesis ; eiran and eithos' powers are a conjoined ability to control other people's emotions, though it's split up pretty evenly between them; while eiran's powers deal with negative emotions (e.g. anger, fear, etc), eithos' powers are more affiliated with positive emotions, such as intoxicating joy, falsely romantic infatuation, etc. theoretically he could make someone addicted to the way he instills such positive feelings... ⸻ energy drain ; linked to the twins' whole vampire vibes, eiran and eithos both can drain energy itself from other people. it's a foggy power at best, and not entirely understood, so generally the twins don't use it much, but it can be used to exhaust people and sap them of some of their strength

eithos' suit matches his twin brother's (see pari's form), but instead of the red and black colour scheme it's blue and black. it's a simple black suit with support for the legs and shoulders, covered by a sort of half-jacket around the shoulders, and a simple mask on the face. with gloves to protect against fingerprint readings and a belt to carry dual swords, it's a whole look. please note the reference image isn't... exact, just a general idea of what it's like
