NATASHA, STEVE, KIARA, AND CAROLINE HAVE PUT HARD WORK INTO
training the new Avengers. Caroline, along with the others learned something interesting. Much like the Maximoffs, Caroline possessed the same powers of being able to use hypnotic powers since her dad tortured her. But over the past months, Wanda taught Caroline how to control and use her powers. Caroline and Steve put some preparations into their wedding but secretly Caroline knew that Steve didn't want to get married until he had his best friend: Bucky.

After what seemed like months on not having a lead. the group was sent to Lagos to investigate a possible lead on Crossbones, or Rumlow. Sitting at a small table outside of a restaurant with Wanda, Caroline dipped her tea bag into her cup. Her eyes flickered up up to Wanda, giving her a smile before glancing back down. 

Caroline inhaled deeply while glancing around the area as she picked up her cup. Bringing it to her lips and taking a sip, before her eyes caught the red head that she familiarized as her best friend.

"Alright, what do you see?" Steve questioned them through their comms with Caroline sighing.

"Standard cops, small station," Caroline answers, "Quiet street, it's a pretty good target."

"There's an ATM on the south corner, which means-"

"Cameras." Wanda replies, cutting Steve off

"So compromise the escape routes." Caroline says to Wanda

"Our guy doesn't care about being seen, he's not afraid to make a mess." Steve explained to the team with Caroline continuing to sip her tea. "See that Range Rover about halfway around the block?"

"You mean the red one?" Wanda questions. "It's cute."

"It's also bulletproof." Natasha finally speaks u. "Which means private security, which means more guns, which means more headaches probably for us." 

"You guys know that I can move things with my mind, right?" Wanda asked

"I'm offended because i am getting pretty good at this hypnotic stuff." Caroline adds, "But can I rip out their throats?"

"Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature." Natasha says, in that moment Caroline knew she meant Wanda because Natasha and Clint always taught her to look behind her back.

"We also need a good vampire on this mission." Kiara commanded Caroline

"Can't promise anything"

"Has anyone ever told you how paranoid you are?" Another voice who is identified as Sam Wilson, otherwise known as Falcon.

"To my face, no." Natasha answers. "Why did you hear something?"

"Focus guys, this is the best lead on Rumlow we have gotten, I don't want to lose him." Steve says to them with Caroline shifting in her seat and pulling out a small mirror to see her vampire veins coming out and green orbs clouding her blue ones. She tried shaking it away and for the moment it went away but Wanda was right, Caroline didn't have enough control of her powers.

"That should be easy, he already hates us," Wanda glances up to the vampire who gives a longing glance that makes Wanda shrug it off.

"Hey, Sam, do you see that garbage truck?" Steve questions Sam.

"Yeah."

"Tag it." Steve orders

"The drivers armed and the truck is at max weight." Sam reveals, making Caroline sit up straight knowing exactly what was going to happen.

"He's using it as a battering ram." Caroline says getting up and starting to make her way away from the cafe.

"GO!" Steve orders

"Wait, why?" Wanda questions

"He's not heading for the police." Steve explains as Wanda tries to catch up with Caroline

The two women ran through the streets trying to find where the truck was heading. Caroline tried to hear or at least catch a scent as to where it was going but to both of their dismay, they couldn't find it.

"Steve, where is he headed?" Natasha questions

"The Center for Infectious Diseases." Steve answers. "Sam, I need a ride."

"Coming towards you, Cap." Sam replies to him, swooping him up off the ground. Caroline used her super speed to catch up and jumping from building to building, and when they got to the large building, part of the gate was destroyed. Caroline glances around as Sam drops Steve and taking out all possible targets on the ground.

"Body armor, AR-15s. I made seven hostiles." Steve states

Caroline and Wanda made their way to the ground while Sam landed on a building nearby. Caroline's heightened hearing could hear Sam taking out the targets on the roof. Caroline sheds her fangs before she rushes over to a couple of soldiers and using her force to knock them out.

"I make five." Sam states, just as Wanda lands behind Caroline.

Caroline does her best to take out the hidden soldiers and breaking their necks while Wanda uses her powers to take out a few.

"Sam!" Wanda calls out to him as she throws one of the soldiers in the air and Sam taking the guy out easily.

"Four." Caroline says ripping the heart out of a soldier's chest, a trick she learned from a friend a while back.

"Rumlow's on the third floor." Sam states, bringing Red Wing back down to him.

Steve glances to Wanda, "Wanda, just like we practiced."

"What about the gas?" Caroline asked

"Get it out." Steve answers before rushing over towards a truck and jumping on it, and then Wanda uses her powers to pick Steve up and throws him through the windows of the third floor.

"Still don't know how you do that, kid." Sam chuckles beside the two of them.

"Care, want to help?" Wanda asked with a smile on her lips.

"Are you sure? You're right I don't have much control."

"I think you have more control than you realize," Wanda said

Caroline nods as the two of them turn towards the building and they begin yo move their hands in a hypnotic way, swirling the gas in circles, before sending it off into the air. They both exhale heavily with Wanda saying, "See?"

But even though the two of them thought that everything was flowers and dandelions, Steve dropped the bad news.

"Rumlow has a biological weapon!" Steve announces and Caroline lets out a groan.

"I'm on it!" Sam announces and Caroline watches as Sam takes off.

"Sam, he's in a AFB heading north." Steve says to him

Caroline and Wanda have a quick glance before both of them take off, trying to assist the team and helping the innocents get to safety. Caroline ran through the crowd, until her hands landed on the man who was to be her husband.

"I got four... they're splitting up" Steve explains

"I got the two on the left." Sam answers

"He ditched the gear, it's a shell game now, one of them has the payload." Steve states, but Caroline could hear something different in his voice. Something that she couldn't pick up on but it was definitely not like him.

Wanda glances to Caroline, before gripping her back to reality. The two of them push their way through the market, but Caroline's eyes sought out to seek Steve or Sam.

"He doesn't have it. It's empty!" Sam yells

"Payload secure...thanks Sam" Natasha sarcastically spoke

"Don't thank me. I'm not thanking that thing." Sam spoke about Red Wing which made Caroline chuckle

"Who's your buyer?" Caroline heard Steve demand.

"Steve found Rumlow." Caroline says expressionless before her eyes catch something, making her rush through the crowd. Her eyes landed on Wanda, who was moving her hands in her hypnotic way. Caroline narrows her eyes and could tell that it was an explosive. Caroline was about to jump in and try to help Wanda. But before that could happen Wanda threw it higher into the air before it exploded and went off.

She watches as the explosive hits the side of the building, making it burst into flames and tearing away at every inch of the building. Caroline reaches to Wanda through the crowd and when she finally found her, she was staring at the burning building.

Caroline turns Wanda away from the fire pulling her into a hug. Wanda was no longer looking at the building but Caroline was and could see the destruction pouring in. Kiara came to Caroline's side and couldn't help but put her hand on her sister's shoulder.

"Sam, we need fire and rescue for the south side of the building." She heard Steve say before walking to Caroline, "We gotta get up there." 

Caroline nods her head at him with Steve giving a slight nod and walking away. All Caroline could think was that massive trouble and consequences that were going to await them when they got back home.
