Edd managed to skip school. His mother said she was going to work and he has to but he was actually over heating and tired, she said 'well even if you're sick you're not staying home alone!' Until Edd said. 'You know you left me home alone yesterday, right?' And she got the mental thought of, she lost that battle. So she left for work as the boys went to school. After they left, Edd slowly started planning. He then realised that he could in fact visit his father. He just needed his mother's ID. Edd mentally cursed. But then he got out of bed to get food, and saw on the counter, she had left it. Her ID. It was a ID for drinking though, since he assumed she drank herself to sleep.

So he grabbed it, and remembered something else. He heard his brother made a bar get popular because of his personal opinions. So he thought to go there. But it was too far to walk. Like, sure, he could walk but it'd take at least two to three hours. He needed money for transport. He looked around the area he was in and realised that he could take a bus. It'd be the least suspicious way of getting there. And that's when he got the ID, money from his piggy bank, and he got the files in the folder. He also took a water bottle just in case. He was hungry so he just got a chocolate bar from the cupboard. He assumed no one would notice and went on his way.

It was freezing, but he couldn't feel it. He had a jacket and baggy pants on. He kept walking until he found the bus stop. He remembered where it was, 'Georgia, 432.' And he found a bus ride in a hour, to that place. So he sat there for a hour. He tapped the chairs, even made some music with them, read the disgusting writing on the bus waiting walls. Trust me, it was disgusting. Said stuff about sex and STDS. He saw a stray cat and he silently pet the cat. It sat near him. When he walked around or sat down, the cat would always be next to him.

After this cat didn't leave him alone, he looked both ways. He saw the bus starting to come up. So he opened his front pocket, since the cat was fairly small to actually fit, so when he sweet talked to them, promising 'you'll be safe..' The cat hoped in, sticking it's head out. He saw it see the bus and get right in, so he left a hole in his bag, so the cat could spoke it's nose and mouth out. He was sneaking the cat on board.

As the bus driver asked for money, he was gonna grab it stealthy from the front pocket, since he just remembered he had it there, he saw the cat actually get the money and have it hanging out. So he quickly grabbed it, thankfully, and have it to the bus driver. He took it with his grimy hands, before he looked at the money and then he looked at edd. The small child. He sighed and shut the bus doors. "Where ya off to?" He asked, now softening up.

"Georgia, 432." "Where you wanna be dropped off?" "Um..Well, My dad said maybe two meters away from the mental institution.." The driver looked at Edd, suspicious before he looked around, seeing the person on board asleep. He then whispered to Edd. "Ya wanna go to the insane asylum?" He asked, suddenly. Which caught Edd off guard. "Wha-" "Because if you want to.."

He reached into his pocket as he passed Edd a sorta sheet with a security guard who worked there. He looked up, confused at the driver. "My friend will let you in." He said, giving a small smile. Edd smiled at him, actually very thankful that this bus driver understood he wanted to get there. He thanked him quietly as he walked to a seat. He sat near the front, just out of view of the person sleeping. He sat his bag in front of him, turning towards him. So he could make sure the cat was fine.

He looked inside the pocket, seeing their green glistening eyes look at him. He muttered. 'Thank you'. The cat only seemed to reply with getting her nose and mouth out and nuzzling his nose before going back into hiding.he laid back in his seat, making sure to relax a bit at least. Because he was gonna meet his dad, after almost two years of being taken, and get some answers..if he could. He just hoped. Not prayed, since he isn't fully religious. His family never followed religion.
