As they walked, the guard was quiet.. Until he spoke. "Do you know why your father was taken here?" He asked. Edd seemed a bit taken aback from being asked. But he answered. "I know he was seen as a bad man.." He paused. "But that's all I know." The guard looked at him for a second, not saying anything until at least a minute. "Your father was talking about a monster who was ruining his life, and one day, was found with blood on him and your mother was dead."

Edd found it pretty bad but now was wondering why he fuck he was telling a right to nine year old that his mother is dead and his father must've murdered her. The guard sighed. "We took him here because he was mentally unstable when we found him, screaming things in..." He paused, stopping. Edd looked at him. "Speaking in what? Broken English?" He asked. The guard took a breath. "Latin." He stated. "We're here." He suddenly announced, showing the door to a talking room. "You have forty to fifty minutes. No more no less." He stated. Edd just nodded as he stepped in, the creaking door slamming as the guard stayed out there, since he heard a few footsteps and them stop on the spot.

Edd slowly walked to his chair, like the movies, it was a blueish yet more white room with one table and two chairs. It was so empty. But he slowly sat in his chair, it making a creaky noise when he pulled it. He sat his bag down on the floor, and that's when he saw the cat's nose sticking out. He lightly tapped their nose and the cat purred as quietly as possibly. Edd didn't realise it until he felt the vibrations from it. He smiled. They knew to be quiet. He then stopped when he heard the door start opening. The cat snuck it's nose in.

It was his father. Who looked..like him but with a beard, dead skin, dull eyes and also really dirty. He sat down as the guards stood outside of the room, door closed. They weren't listening, he hoped.
