In class, he rested his right cheek on his right hand, which was clenched into a fist. The other had crossed over in front of him in a fist as well. His eyes were half lidded as he stared right at the board. It was just some stupid maths question. Like, what's one plus twenty. He already knew it was twenty one. But he didn't raise his hand. He was not even gonna bother. But.. He then heard these words.

"Okay class, You can all have a break!" She announced, the class then went into joy as they started shuffling to their groups. Free time, that is.. Edd didn't do much. He decided to go sit in the far right corner, right in between the closet. Hidden. He sat there, resting his chin now on his crossed over arms, resting right on his knees which were almost brung up to his chest. Just two inches away.

Ones again, he started to pass out. He'd wake up at the right time, though. Right? Yeah. Yeah he should. He's a light sleeper. He'll hear the teacher. It's fine. Though, even if he wanted to go home, he'd rather stay where the...um...boogeyman wouldn't find him... Or at least hope so. Who cares? He then shut his eyes, quickly passing out. This time, he opened his eyes.

He figured it was another dream...but...it was the same one. Except.. He was in the class room. This time, they were doing the starting of the lesson...everyone and everything was drained out of colour but acting like how they did..except...Where Edd was supposed to be...was the shadow figure from before. The girl. She twisted her head, slowly right towards him.

He stayed perfectly still. Not making a sound nor any sudden movement. She turned her head quickly around after a bit, making a snap like a twig... After a bit, he tilted his head to see her hand moving...writing something on the paper... Then...she turned her chair,making a squeaking noise against the ground, which rattled his eardrums... She showed the picture in front of her, both finger tips touching the paper... This sent a bigger shiver...

"You can't escape...The boogeyman's...." It was not finished... Did he need another dream like this or no? Then... His eyes went shut again. He then woke up in the real world. He then saw the teacher tap her board. "Okay, Back to your seats!" She announced again. Which caused all the students and strut back to their seats, ready to see what was next. Edd, however, was waiting for the next dream sequence. Because now he's curious...and scared.
