The kingdom of Auradon had finally reached its peaceful state again and everyone was gathered in the courtyard for Mal and Alivia’s engagement parties.

Liv is wearing a dress, which is a short pink dress with frills of different shades of pink and it’s the right amount of tightness for her liking and she may have found a dress that she actually likes. 

Carlos and Liv are standing near Evie and Jay waiting for Mal and Ben to arrive.

“Here they are!” Evie announces as Ben and Mal walk through the stone gateway into the party. Everyone cheered as they made their way up to the wooden balcony with the former king and queen.

“Lady Mal and I couldn’t be happier that you all came to celebrate our engagement today.” Ben announces to the crowd as Mal mutters something into his ears and he nodded his head. “I couldn’t be prouder and happier to call you my queen. So everyone raise your glasses up, to our future queen of Auradon!”

“To our Queen of Auradon!” The crowd cheers and takes a sip from their drinks.

“Speech your specialness.” Carlos says with a bright smile as he kisses Liv’s head.

“Speech your fancy one.” Jay says in a posh voice causing everyone to laugh.

Everyone looks at Mal to make her speech that was requested but all we see was her cheery expression change to a grim one causing confusion to flow through the VKs.

“Is she alright?” Ceci says beside her brother as even he doesn't know and he shrugs his shoulders at his younger sister.

“I don’t know.” Liv says as Ceci is in between the two of them.

“I can’t.” Mal says. “I can’t be Queen of Auradon.” Mal says, turning to Ben and whispering something. “We made a decision…to close the barrier forever. And it was my idea and it was wrong. I’ve learned that you can’t live in fear…because it doesn’t protect you from anything. You never know where the bad is gonna come from, and you never know where the heroes are gonna come from either.” Mal declares. “Without Uriah and her sister’s pirates, Auradon would be gone. And without Hades..my father.” Mal says as there were many people in the crowd gasping.

“Audrey would be gone. We are all capable of good and bad, no matter which side of the barrier we come from. And that’s why I can't be Queen of Auradon. I have to be Queen of the Isle, too. And it’s time that we take the barrier down forever.” Mal says finishing her speech as she looks at Ben.

“We can’t do that.” Beast says confused with Mal’s declaration.

“It’s up to us, Dad.” Ben says before turning back towards the crowd of people. “I choose to be a King who moves forward. It’s time for forgiveness. It’s time for new beginnings. The barrier will come down!” Ben declares to the sea of people.

“Yes!” Carlos and Liv cheer from their spot in the crowd. Ben says something to Mal before all the cheers and clapping started all around everyone. Mal motioned the VKs to join her up on the balcony, Jay ushers Evie up the royal stairs followed by Carlos, Ceci and Alivia.

Fairy Godmother hands Mal her wand and we all stand behind her as she starts the spell that would make Auradon a better place.

“To make the world a better place…” Mal says beginning the spell. “We have to do it face to face.”

The golden glittering lights shone bright in the clear blue sky and the border around the isle went up in golden sparkles. Everyone around cheered loudly in awe as a brick bridge built its way towards the Isle and Auradon.

After they finished their dance number, a giant purple dragon float thing came  over the bridge from the Isle followed by a boat load of people.

Liv turned to Carlos and threw her arms around his neck and he twirled her around as they passionately kissed each other, and at the end of the kiss he dipped a little and they both smiled in the kiss.
