fun times...can i go home, now?!
Alivia’s POV
Once we made it back to Evie’s castle in the two hours discussed I saw the rest of our friends waiting outside.
“Ben!” Mal says running over and hugging Ben tightly as we all reunited with our respective groups.
“I always knew you’d be part of the solution.” Ben smiles brightly at Uriah as Hazel sits on one of the tables, as her hair is still in flames.
“I can’t wait to get all of this out of the way.” Carlos says as he wraps his arms around my shoulders which makes me giggle.
“Same. It’s a thing called sleep.” Alivia says as Carlos kisses her cheek and Liv blushes.
“Same.” Carlos says as Jay interrupts yet again.
“I hate to interrupt whatever that was, but we have to deal with this stuff first.” Jay says.
“Okay, so we all think that Audrey could be at Fairy Cottage. We have no idea where it is.” Mal starts. “Liv, do you know where it is?”
“Of course she knows where it is, that’s where her mom hid from your mother.” Uriah says putting her hair in a ponytail as it was getting into her face.
“Yeah I do.” Liv says ignoring what Uriah just said as it would be kind of obvious that she knows where the Fairy Cottage is.
“Doug! Go with Evie, Gil and Celia.” Mal says giving us our groups. “While I go with the rest of them.”
“Sounds like a fancy plan, Miss Queen.” Hazel says, making Mal slowly nod her head.
“Because you’re Queen, whatever.” Uriah says.
“Be careful, okay?” Liv called out to the other half of the group.
“We will.” Evie and Doug shout in unison.
The rest of the group made their way towards Fairy Cottage with Ben leading the way. Liv clasped Carlos’ hand making sure to keep him close because of her sister’s lurking.
Jay kicked the door to the cottage open and immediately ran upstairs trying to find something.
“Come on Dude.” Carlos calls out to his wandering dog.
“She’s not upstairs.” Jay announces as he makes his way back downstairs with everyone else.
“Well, that’s a shame.” Liv says sarcastically as Carlos tries not to smile at her joke about her sister as he actually does find her jokes hilarious even if it’s the right timing or not. It’s called being comedic for a reason, people.
They heard a loud thud coming from what looked like a locked closet which made Liv jump and Carlos holding her arm tightly protecting her from whatever is in the closet.
“Ben go do something! Please.” Liv says scared as Jay gives her a look. “What I said please.”
Ben pushed the wooden bar off the door and opened it cautiously. Revealing the one and only Chad Charming curled into a fetal position on the dirty floor.
“Chad?” Ben asks, his eyebrow raised.
“I want my mommy.” Chad says as he went to go through the open door but was stopped by the boys.
“No.” Jay says holding his hand in front of Chad prevents him from leaving.
“It’s okay…what happened, buddy?” Ben asks.
“Ben. Ben! Your face. She’s gone? Huh? The door is open. I’m free.” Chad says. “Freedom! Oh! Freedom!” Chad says quickly, making his escape out the wide open door.
“Oh well that happened and I didn’t even have to yell at him.” Liv says, making Carlos chuckle. “Please don’t come back, ever!” Liv shouts even if he is long gone as Carlos shakes his head a little.
“There is something wrong with your girlfriend.” Jay says as I grabbed a fork and I went to stab him with it, but Carlos took it away from me.
“Let’s not make him bleed.” Carlos says as Liv pouts at him and he mimicked her pout, and she hit his shoulder, copying her and taking away her weapon.
“She actually would have survived on the island. She’s naturally vicious, and she likes stealing.” Jay says as Carlos couldn’t help but agree with his friend, as they are walking out of the cottage.

Third Person’s POV
“Let’s get this Audrey chick taken care of already.” Uria speaks up sounding extra motivated to finally finish this off.
“What do you say, girls?” I asked the girls next to me. “Time to wrap things up?”
“You know, someday you’re gonna have to tell me how you guys all got teamed up.” Ben says to Uriah and Mal with a huge smile on his face
“Actually, Mal promised to let all the kids off the Isle once this is over.” Hazel tells him, because that was in fact exactly what she had promised us all.
“Mal?” Ben asks, sounding confused about what is going on and also what was said.
“I have to tell you guys something.” Mal says. “Um…I lied to you. The kids won’t be coming off the Isle.”
“What do you mean?” Liv crosses her arms across her chest as Hazel and Uriah follow in suit.
“The program is shut down. And the barrier…will be closed for good. For Auradon’s safety.” Mal says speaking quickly trying to deliver the news like it’s no big deal.
“Hold up. So we’re saving your precious people and your behinds for a lie.” Uriah says walking closer to Mal with sass. “I knew it was a mistake to trust you. You were always thinking about yourself.” Uriah says turning to Ben. “And you, King Bennyboo…you’re probably just gonna throw us all back inside.”
“You know what? I actually thought you were brave. But you’re just a chicken.” Hazel says. “Too scared that I was never gonna see Dad again.”
“Hazel.” Mal says trying to stop her sister but Hazel snatched the ember back as she glares at her sister as her hair is in flames.
“You don’t deserve this anymore.” Hazel says putting it in her pocket as she’s still angry at her sister as she has every right to be.
“Let's go find Gil and leave them to rot.” Uriah says walking off with Harry trailing right after her in the woods.
“Uriah!” Mal shouts after the girl that had just abandoned the group.
“Liv…Hazel….I’m sorry, I just…I thought that…I was afraid to tell you. I thought I was gonna lose my best friends. But I had to do something. I had to protect Auradon.” Mal says with tears welling in her eyes.
“Closing the barrier was your idea?” Liv asks Mal as she has tears in her eyes at saying that. “That was all what you would talk about, and now look you broke your promise to us, to everyone.”
“I did it for us. I did it for the lives that we have here now.” Mal says trying to explain but still wasn't coming up with anything valid.
“For our life? What about the kids that we left behind on that island?” Carlos says bringing up the rest of the kids as he knows about how Mal wanted all of the other VKs to get a chance to come to Auradon, like he did with Mal, Evie and Jay.
“The kids that you promised? We were their only hope. I thought you were gonna stand up for the VKs. But instead, you lied to them.” Liv says walking towards Mal with an angry look on her face, as she wasn’t one to raise her voice or get angry, and when she does it shocked people.
“You lied to Jay. You lied to Carlos, You lied to Evie. You lied to me. Mal we’re your family. That’s not what family does.” Liv says with betrayal clearly written on her face as she knows how Evie would feel if she was here, as that’s why she brought up the blue haired girl. “Family wouldn’t lie to each other, this isn’t the Isle of the Lost, Mal.”
“Liv, come on. I had no choice!” Mal says as everyone else but her and Hazel turned to stone.
“See look what you did, sissy.” Hazel says as she was silent during all of this.
“I’m sorry Hazel, believe me. I did what I thought was right.” Mal says to her sister.
“We have to get that brat, but first we gotta get Uriah back on our side, and your lying probably won’t make this easy at all.” Hazel says moving towards the woods with Mal quickly following behind her.
