Audrey made a surprise appearance in Ben’s office and then he tried asking her questions and she ended up turning him into a beast like his father.

“Alight. Get in. Get out.” Mal orders the others. Jay opens the barrier as they walk through.

“Whoa.” Mal says as a strong shock goes through her when she touches the ember that was in Mal’s hand, as Hazel also got a major upgrade also which everyone noticed. Her white hair was pitch white with some blue coloring, and an almost identical outfit to her father. (D3 Hades).

“Whoa, M, you got a little Hades thing going. I like it.” Liv says with a smirk on her face.

“Wow. That thing packs a punch, huh?” Carlos asks Mal as she nods her head.

Suddenly with a little space in the barrier, Harry and Gil quickly came through as the barrier closed behind them.

Great, just what we need here. Is two pirates. Liv thought in her head.

“We made it bro. We made it.” Gil says before hugging Harry. 

“Hey guys, we just came for a wee visit.” Harry says as he does, Gil walks forward, but Carlos and Liv had different plans.

“Well make it snappy. Some of us already have plans, and want to do them.” Liv says sarcastically as Carlos smiles a little, as he couldn’t help but agree with her as she wasn't wrong but now isn't the right time for her jokes.

Liv and Carlos both shoved them back only to be shoved back in return. It causes Carlos to bump into Liv, Hazel to bump into Liv and the blonde to bump into Mal causing the ember to fall from her grasp.

“Hey! Hey! Hey!” Hazel says as she went to grab the ember but Harry used his hook to sling the ember into the air. “NO!” Hazel yells as the ember went flying it would have hit the water but it was stopped by a tentacle.

Hazel knew exactly who that tentacle belonged to and in return her hair turned into flames as her and Uriah hated each other with a burning passion. (see what i did there…just me…okay).

“COME OUT, SHRIMPY!!!” Hazel shouts and with that Uriah emerges from the water. Liv just smirks at hearing the nickname as it does actually suit Uriah.

“Drop something?” Uriah asks with a smirk, as she turns to Hazel with a look on her face. “What have I told you about calling me that?” 

“What it suits you? Don’t you know that?” Hazel says sarcastically as her hair went back to normal. “BTW, it can’t get wet. Give it back before it goes out.” Hazel says, holding out her hand.

“Uriah?” Harry, Gil say at the same time as they are amazed to see the girl.

“Hi boys.” Uriah calls out to Harry and Gil. Then the group all turns around to see Uriah holding the ember.

“Welcome back.” Harry and Gil walk towards her as Liv rolls her eyes at the three pirates. 

“Uriah, you swam off and forgot all about us.” Gil says sadly walking towards the girl as Mal says. “Yeah. Probably planning her revenge no doubt.” Mal says with her arms crossed as Liv also did what Mal did as she too crossed her arms over her chest.

“It's not all about you Mali. I was looking for a way out with Uma for a hole in the barrier to let everybody out.” Uriah says as she turns to Harry and Gil.

“And you know what I found boys? It’s way better out there than we thought. There is this thing that looks like furry rock called a coconut. And fish so big you could dance on their backs.” Uriah says as Liv and Hazel both roll their eyes at Uriah.

“And sadly they're keeping it all for themselves.” Uriah says with a little pout.

“Whatever, Uriah. I need that to break a spell.” Mal says, holding her hand out to get the ember.

“Cast by Audrey, Sleeping Beauty’s daughter and Liv’s sister.” Evie says to the pirate girl as Liv side-eyed Evie for saying that to Uriah especially her sister.

“Mm…so the good guy is the bad guy? Well, I might not give it back. Let’s see what happens.” Uriah says with a laugh.

“Uriah, it’s not the time for games. People’s lives are in danger!” Mal yells at Uriah as Carlos stands protectively in front of Liv.

“Guarantee me that every single villain kid who wants to, can get off the isle.” Uriah tells Mal and as said purple haired girl says.

“I can’t do that.” Mal says as Uriah looks like she had enough of Mal. Uriah went to the water and held the ember above it as she asked in a yell. “Well how about now?!”

“Deal. Deal.” Mal says as Uriah pretends like she was going to drop the ember into the water.

“URIAH!” Liv, Hazel, Mal, and Evie shout as Liv says. “Mal’s word is good.”

“I’ll still keep this princess, for the time being.” Uriah says as she tucks the ember safely into the shell necklace. “Because if you losers think I trust any of you to save the world on your own, think again.” Uriah says walking towards Mal and Hazel who are standing side-by-side.

Hazel growls as her eyes turn a bright blue as Uriah narrows her eyes at her. “This is a job for pirates!” Uriah says, turning back to Harry and Gil with laughs.

“We can go back to hating each other when this is over.” Liv says as all the good VKs nod their heads at the blonde as they know that she’s right.

“Liv is right.” Jay says through his teeth, as he sees Harry looking at Liv as he didn’t want to admit it but he wanted to.

“Fine.” Mal says with her arms crossed.

“Where are our bikes?” Jay asks just noticing the lack of their bikes as Liv glares at Harry and Gil, as she knows that something is wrong with that.

“Oh yeah. We crashed them.” Gil answers to him as Harry smiles as Liv and Hazel narrow their eyes at the two pirates.

Harry mimicked the sound effects which only made it worse. “I wanted to light something on fire right now.” Hazel says as her hair fires up blue.

“Here’s a thought. We could try to be friends, put our history behind us and celebrate our differences. Yeah?” Evie says as she and Celia stood between her and the two groups as Liv side-eyed Evie again, as she doesn’t want to be friends with them. 

“Who wants gum?” Evie says as Liv and Hazel’s face lights up in sync.

“Let’s go.” Uriah says as Evie held out the bag and both Liv and Hazel took a piece. 

“Thanks Ev.” The two girls say leaving Carlos, Jay, and Evie as Evie looks at the almost resemblance of Hazel and Liv.

“Is it me or do those two look like twins?” Evie asks curiously as she and Jay and Carlos follow behind the rest of the crew.

“Yeah they actually do.” Carlos says as the back of their isle outfits look almost the same, but Hazel’s is a little darker almost burgundy red, while Liv has a blood red color. 

(I know it’s been ages since I did one of these, but the whole thing about Hazel and Alivia possibly being related was actually what I was wanting to do when I did the first book, but then I changed my mind, until I started this one.

Alivia’s POV

Once we arrived back in Auradon we looked around trying to find anyone awake.

“What the…” Hazel says as she looks around and people are either asleep or turned to stone. “Hades.”

“They’re asleep. Everyone.” I call out next to Carlos.

“I can’t get Ben.” Mal announced her voice laced with worry.

“Or Dizzy, Ceci, or Doug. The signal’s out.” Evie adds, sounding equally concerned.

“Is that Auradon Prep?” Celia asks, struck with amazement.

“Yeah. When everyone wakes up, you’re going to love it.” I say flashing Celia a smile.

“Everything is so….” Gil says as Hazel grimaces at the bright colors.

“Freaky.” Jay says looking round at all the sleeping citizens.

“....green.” Gil says.

“You have leaves on your trees. And what are those colored things on the bushes?” Hazel asks with amazement and confusion in her tone.

“Uh…flowers?” I replied as if it was obvious.

“Flowers are pretty.” Hazel says with a smile on her face as she went to touch one and she made it burn to flames.

“Cantaloupe! Mm!” Gil says digging into a fruit left out on the table as me and Jay give him a look.

“We don’t have fresh fruit on the Isle, remember?” Uriah says.

“They’re grapes.” Jay says after patting Gil’s shoulder.

“Grapes? I love grapes.” Gil says as he finishes the bowl of grapes and follows us.

“I believe I deserve some compensation for my muscles, my wile, and my role in this endeavor.” Harry says with arrogance in his voice as he pick pocketed some sleeping people.

“You do. Not me squashing you like a bug.” Jay says as he puts the money back into the wallets.

“Think, I’m scared of you, Jay?” Harry asks as I glare at him but don’t say anything.

“Guys! Will you two behave!” I say cutting into their little conversation and they both look at me.

“Mm!” 

“Dude.” Carlos and I groan walking over to the dog.

“Delicious.” Dude exclaims after he finished licking the guy’s hand clean and letting out a burp.

“Dude, really?” I question after watching Dude steal food from the guy.

“What? It wasn’t me, I swear.” Dude says as I give him a look. “Okay. It was me.”

“Hey furface do you know what happened here?” I ask as I crouched down to his level.

“Yup, socket. Audrey showed up. She put everybody to sleep.” Dude answers as I grumble under my breath. “...and then she turned some of them to…”

“Guys.” Evie says, catching our attention. “Hannah turned to stone.”

“All right. Everybody stay on their toes.” Mal orders both of the groups.

“Look, since we're here. Let’s check out the school.” Uriah says looking around the area.

“No.” I objected. “Audrey went straight for the crown, so we think it’s safe to assume that she’s gonna go for Ben and his castle next. That’s where we’ll go.” 

“Says who?” Uriah challenges me even on the little issue.

“Says me.” I say crossing my arms.

“Says you, princess. And that’s supposed to mean something to me?” Uriah replies.

“Guys.” Evie says cutting us both before our disagreement could get any further.

“To the castle.” I finally ordered everyone and began walking in that direction

We finally made it into the castle and began searching the halls with Dude leading because of his great sense of smell.

“Ben could be asleep anywhere.” Mal asks hopelessly.

“Or turned to stone.” Hazel says.

“Okay, Ben!” Mal calls out and there’s no answer.

“I got a scent. Very pungent cologne. Easy to track. Follow me, people.” Dude announced after sniffing the air for a minute.

“That’s great, Dude.” Carlos says praising Dude.

“FYI, I give great cuddles, too.” Dude says matter-of-factly.

“Really? I never had a pet growing up. Well, except for the elk head in Dad’s man cave but that wasn’t…” Gil says as Hazel and I roll our eyes.

“Hold up.” I say as I notice something as I see claw marks decorating on the walls tearing right through a painting.

“What’s this?” Hazel asks.

“Uh…any chance this was already there?” Carlos asks nervously motioning towards the broken picture.

“And follow me!” Dude says before taking off down the hall.

“Ben! Ben!” We all call out trying to find the missing King.

“I can feel you lurking.” Harry says smugly as he examines a sword.

“Good.” Jay snarls back.

“So you can track, cuddle and talk. Hey, do you think his puppies would be able to talk, too?” Gil asks out loud.

“All right, dude. He’s taken. You want a dog adopt one.” I say like I was talking to a child.

“Talking puppies. That’s crazy.” Dude says.

“I bet you lost some sleep thinking about me and Uma being on the loose, huh?” Uriah asks, smirking.

“No. Dragons don’t really sleep. I wonder what fried octopus tastes like.” Mal replies back with sass.

“I believe we’re being challenged.” Harry says.

“Let’s split up and look for my sister.” I suggest.

“That makes absolutely no sense. Unless you give me the ember, she’s going to spell you.” Mal says.

“Why would I give you the ember in the first place?” Hazel says butting into the conversation.

“Girls!” Harry shouts, catching everyone’s attention. “We have a situation here!” 

Pink smoke surrounded the knight's mask. “You like a Prince Mal? How about a knight in shining armor? Or knight.” A voice I know all too well says.

All the knights fell into a motionless pile on the floor then I knew that we had beated my sister for now.

We just beat the knights and pushed my sister’s spells off yet again.

“Come on!”All the guys celebrated with shouts and cheers.

“Yeah! We did that. That’s what I’m talk…” Uriah and Mal almost high-fived but stopped right before their hands could touch.

“Hey, good job.” Hazel says.

“Guys come on. This was so great. We were a team. We worked together.” Evie says, pointing out trying to get everyone to be all buddy buddy like she wants.

“Come on.” Evie says trying to get a hold of Mal’s hand then Uriah’s. “Come on>”

Both of them glared at her, which hopefully ends this thing. “You know what we should try? An icebreaker.” 

We all groaned at her perky ideas, as this is not what we’re supposed to be doing.

“Evie, we have plans already….it’s called getting my sister to knock some sense into her and then go to dinner to celebrate.” I interrupted this and she ignored me.

“You say something you really like about the other person, okay?” Evie says as I stick out my tongue at her. “I’ll start.”

“Hazel. Great hair.” Evie says as I glared at her as Carlos kissed the top of my head. “Now you go.”

“Is she always this perky and weird?” Uriah asks as I snickered and Carlos poked my cheek.

“Unfortunately.” I grumbled under my breath and Evie looked at me.

“Oh, it wasn't your turn, but thank you Liv.” Evie says obviously that I wans’t complimenting her.

“I really hate this energy that you are doing but we are very short on time. My sister is a crazy lunatic who clearly knows that we’re here and we need to get the heck outta here, like uh, right now. So can we speed this thing up, or what?” I say making rushing motions at Evie.

“Liv is right.” Mal says breaking this thing.

“Where is this cheerleader bunk down? Even if she’s not there, we might find some sort of clue.” Hazel says as Uriah nods her head.

“Actually, she’s still in the dorms.” Evie finally says something useful.

“Thank you for being useful.” As I went to walk away Jay grabbed my hand pulling me back, and as I grabbed my hand back I punched his chin.

“You’re right, because of summer school.” Mal says.

“What? Summer school? Summer…school! No wonder she wants revenge.” Harry says.

“Yeah, that’s the whole point, Mr. Hook.” I said sarcastically to him and Carlos snickered. “Well at least someone finds my humor funny.”

“Okay. I need you guys to go find Ben. We will meet back at Evie’s in two hours, okay?” Mal says.

“Sounds like we’re going with my plan. Just saying.” Uriah says.

“It was kind of an obvious plan.” Mal corrects with an eye roll.

“Okay, teenagers hate to burst whatever this is, but we need to go.” I say as I laughed again.

Third Person’s POV

“Riah said it first.” Gil says adding in.

“Right. So my plan.” Uriah says.

“Right?” Mal asks.

“Whatever.” Uriah says as they all separate. Half of them went to Audrey’s dorm and the boys and Alivia went to find Ben in the woods nearby along with Hazel.

“Ben! Ben!” Carlos and Alivia call out in different directions.

“Yo Ben, where are ya!” Hazel shouts as her hair is in flames.

“Dude. Come on. Nothing?” Carlos calls his dog over to see if he found anything at all.

“These things just grow everywhere.” Gil says as he picks some berries off a bush and eats them.

“Hey, we should play that icebreaker. Um, Jay I like the way that you can bounce around and jump off things.” Gil says as Hazel went to take a berry but she burnt it, and she still ate it as she’s used to eating burnt food on the island.

“Yeah. Um…I like how you get a kick out of a berry bush.” Jay says walking over to Gil.

“I guess you’ve probably seen everything by now, huh? Furry rocks. Giant fish. You’re probably used to grabbing lunch off a bush.” Gil says thinking about what Uriah said earlier.

“No. I mean, no, not really. I mainly just use the vending machines at practice. You know, tourney, kind of eats up most of my time. So…” Jay says.

“If Harry says another thing to me, I’ll throw a rock at him.” Alivia says as she takes her hair out of her braid and brushes her hand through it.

“You’re telling me. I remember when I was little and he stole my stale cookies. I chased him around the warf for hours.” Carlos says remembering when he was about eight, and he went around the isle wondering what could eat. “At least until my mom came and dragged me back home.”

“Let me guess, chocolate chip.” Alivia says with a smirk as she knows that Carlos loves chocolate.

“I don’t remember, geez Liv.” Carlos says joking to her as she smirks even wider. “Yeah probably.”

“Tourney, that’s a wee boy’s game.” Harry says, interrupting the two.

“Hey, you know what would be fun? To go rafting on a jungle river.” Gil sys and Jay starts spilling out ideas.

“Oh, yeah. Your mutt went that way.” Harry says pointing with his  hook.

“Thanks, hooky.” Alivia says walking in that direction as she found Dude.

“Nice attitude Princess!” Harry shouts at the blonde princess.

“Carlos!” Dude sys from down the grassy path.

“Hey, furface what do you see?” Alivia asks Dude as her and Carlos finally catches up to the dog.

“This way!” He yells running off in the same direction.

“Ben!” I call out looking around trying to find our King.

“Bennyboo?! Where are you?!” Hazel shouts as I grimaced at the name but didn’t say anything.

“Boy, something stinks, and this time it wasn’t me this time.” Dude says sniffing the air.

“Watch out!” I warned as a big beast emerged from behind the oak in front of us. “You need some serious nose adjustments.”

“I’m not so sure. Ben? Did Audrey do that?” Carlos asks as his voice is filled with caution.

“Huh! I thought I recognized those pants.” Dude remarks.

“Oh, he’s got a boo-boo. That’s why he’s so cranky. You know, my Dad said that his dad did not handle pain well at all.” Gil says not being serious that the situation actually is.

“Liv you’re good with animals, do something.” Jay offers for Liv to do it.

“Fine.” Liv says getting up as everyone watches her every move.

“Hey, Benny. It’s me, Alivia all right?” Liv says inching closer and closer to Ben but he swung his clawed unharmed hand at Liv.

“Ben! Ben! It’s Alivia, all right?” Liv says dodging his hand but still tries to console him. “You know me. You helped me build my block tower when we were six.” 

“I don’t think that’s working, Liv.” Jay says as Carlos sushes him.

“Right? Let me help you. Come on. Let me see your hand.” Liv says as slowly Ben gave her his massive hand. “Oh, yeah. That’s a big one. Uh…” Liv says as she starts to pull, causing a mighty roar to erupt from Ben. Which makes Liv yelp as she hides behind a tree.

“You let Miss Scaredy Cat take care of him.” Harry says as Jay went to pry Liv off the tree but it was no use.

“Now how do we turn him back?” Jay asks as he continues to try to get Liv off of the tree as she wraps her legs and arms around the three.

Carlos digs through his pockets and he tosses something to Jay who catches it. “Open and toss it to Ben, he has to drink it.” Carlos says to Jay who then tosses the little bottle to Ben and he catches it and opens it.

“Carlos, can you get your girlfriend off of this tree? She’s not budging.” Jay says as he gives up trying to get his friend off of the tree.

“You are a workout.” Jay says pointing to Liv who went to peek from the tree but she got grabbed by Carlos.

“I tried to do that but she wouldn’t move.” Jay says as Ben is back being himself well except for the fangs and the new facial hair.

 “Oh, that was funky.” Ben says, groaning as he is now seated.

“It’s Enchanted Lake water. I guess it can only do so much.” Liv says as Carlos has his arm around her back.

“Hold on. Who’s side are they on?” Ben asks in confusion, pointing towards Harry, Gil and Hazel.

“They escaped and joined us.” Jay points out.

“...and Hazel has the ember which is our only hope to stop Audrey. Details will follow.” Alivia says.

“Hades’ ember? Has Mal gone back to the Isle?” Ben asks, ignoring the words that I have just said.

“She said details will follow.” Hazel repeats.

“We’re meeting up with Mal, Evie and Uriah. Let’s go.” Jay says, pulling Ben back to his feet.

“Uriah?” Ben asks as he remembers a lot of not so good memories of the girl.

“Details will follow!” Hazel shouts as her hair is back being in flames.
