he died a while ago, but he doesn't remember much from his past life. he doesn't even remember his actual name. his main goal is to find his grave so he can return back to his living human form. (don't ask me how this works, it just does okay)

ever since you were little, you've had an imaginary friend named alver. only you were able to see him, and even then he was a bit transparent. you always acted like it was normal for him to be around, and even talked to him while others were near.
this changed slightly as you grew older. alver never went away like everyone told you he would, and you began to question if he was just an imaginary friend. he revealed to you that he was a ghost, and that only you could see him because you were somehow linked with his death.
one day while you came home from school, you saw something in the corner of your room. it was a white sheet with two holes cut in it as eyes. you realized it was alver when he floated towards you and made some cheesy ghost noises.
