I'M SO SORRY! I FEEL LIKE I ABANDONED THIS FIC AND I WANNA CRY!

I hope you guys aren't mad at me, I love Daniel and Rosemary so much, they were my first ever couple I enjoyed writing about when my account first started.

Even though I don't support Aphmau anymore, I will continue this fic because Daniel and Rosemary honestly own a piece of my heart.

I hope you all enjoy the chapter, I lost some motivation at the end but I hope it's still good ;-;!

Being able to hear her sister pacing in her room, Rosemary groaned and slammed her head down onto her desk, a huff leaving her lips as her fur bristled.

For the last two hours the ravenette was trying to decide if she wanted to tell Kai if she liked him or not; and to be quite honest, it was getting on her nerves so much to the point she wished that she'd just come and ask her for advice.

As if the devil had heard her, a knock echoed through her room and the girl closed her eyes, wanting to cry.

"Come in!"

Opening the door, Aphmau rushed in with a nervous look on her face and bite her lip, looking at her twin with a panicked expression.

'I need your help'

Oh Irene.

She didn't mean for her sister to literally come into her room and ask her, she was being sarcastic.

'Listen, I know that we don't really talk about boys to each other but.. I really need your help, Rose'

Lifting up her head, Rosemary looked at her sister and seeing the look on her face, she smiled softly as her eyes softened, before gesturing towards the bed.

"Take a seat and tell me everything"

Perking up in excitement, Aphmau rushed towards her sisters bed and sat down, a bright smile on her face as her chocolate brown eyes gleamed.

The sisters never really talked about boys and when they did, the werewolf of the two would roll her eyes and say it was stupid to think about.

'So, I was thinking, you know how I like Kai, right?'

Pursing her lips, the brunette clicked her tongue and slowly nodded, one of her sharp canines digging into her lips.

She knew alright.

"That Meif'wa boy, right?",Rosemary asked and tilted her head slightly; even though she already knew who she was talking about, she wanted to make sure.

Humming in agreement, Aphmau nodded in excitement and smiled softly, causing the vermilion eyed girl's gaze to soften as the innocent look on her face.

'Yeah, that's the one. I was just wondering if you could help me.. figure out a way to confess to him?'

Freezing up, the werewolf stared at her sister for a moment and the gears in her head turned as she tried to find something helpful to say.

Sure she's had one crush before, but she never got to the confessing part and now that she has another crush, she didn't even know if she'd get to that point.

But what she could do now, was help her sister be happy instead of being the overprotective brute she always was and she took in a deep breath, relaxing her tense muscles.

"Honestly Aph, I think you should just be yourself, let him know how you feel and get it off your chest. Sure, rejection is.. terrifying, but confessing your feelings to someone is like two sides of a coin"

Tilting her head slightly, Aphmau blinked and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, not quite understanding what she was trying to say.

'A.. coin?'

Chuckling softly at her confused expression, Rosemary nodded her head and her shoulders shook with laughter as she smiled, her beautiful canines glistening.

"Yes Aph, a coin",The beta said and slowly begun to explain,"On one side, is a good outcome; if you gain the courage and express your feelings to Kai, then he may feel the same way and you two can take it from there. However, the other side is the bad outcome; the rejection will sting, trust me, but it'll help you realize that you are so much better with someone other than him. And I will help you through this every step of the way"

A slow smile spread across Aphmau's lips and she glanced down at her hands, playing with her skirt.

'A coin, huh..?',She muttered softly and then, looked back up at her sister with a gentle look in her eyes,'Rose you're.. you're a good sister, thank you'

As Aphmau moved forward and wrapped her arms around her, the vermilion-eyed girl held her breath as her eyes widened and slowly, she untensed, hugging her sister back.

"Of course, small fry"

Hearing the teasing nickname she used ever since they were kids, Aphmau slowly pulled away and gave her sister a playful glare as she pouted.

She knew that she hated that nickname and judging by the smirk that spread across the werewolf's face, she did it on purpose.

Sitting back down on Rosemary's bed, Aphmau clicked her tongue and stared at her sister with a soft smile, watching as she turned back towards her book.

'Sooo, when are you going to tell Daniel how you feel?'

Even though the question was innocent and on topic, Rosemary couldn't help as her fur bristled and she tensed up, her shoulders tensing as her grip tightened on the book in her hands.

A frown formed on the beta's face and she slowly shook her head, turning to the next page as her eyes saddened, her grip loosening.

"I'm not",She said softly and continued to read, her eyes flicking over the page,"He doesn't like me like that, Aph"

Mouth dropping in disbelief, the shorter twin hurriedly stood up and threw her arms into the air, a noise of shock leaving her lips.

'That's ridiculous! He so does!'

"No Aph, he doesn't. He just thinks of me as a friend and that's how it should be.. it's better that way"

'You're wrong! Don't you see the way he looks at you, that boy is completely head over heels for yo—!'

As her sister turned away from her book and looked towards her, Aphmau stopped short and her lips parted at the sad look in her sister's eyes.

She'd never seen her look so broken before.

So scared.

"He's not, okay?",Rosemary stated and her voice cracked, causing her to clench her jaw, turning back to her book as her eyes stared to water,"Please.. just drop it, Aphmau"

Realizing what was going on once Rosemary used her full name instead of her nickname, Aphmau's eyes watered in sadness as she stared at the broken look on her sisters face and suddenly, it all made sense.

She didn't believe she was good enough for him. She believed that she'd end up hurting him because of her fear of being hurt and would hurt him before he could hurt her.

It was her defense mechanism that she's had for so long, that's why she shut out the idea of love.

'Rosemary, like you told me, you'll never know unless you try',The girl said softly, hoping that her sister would break out of that shell and embrace her feelings,'You'd never know, it could bring something good to you. At least just ask him if there's anyone he likes'

Tilting her head down, the werewolf squeezed her eyes shut and her nails began to dig into the book, her body shaking slightly.

"Aph, please.."

Hearing her shaky whisper, the ravenette's heart broke and her eyes watered more at her sister's broken expression.

She didn't know what to do to help her see that Daniel liked her for who she was and wouldn't run away from her.

He wouldn't hurt her like everyone else did, he wasn't like that. She hasn't known the boy for long but she knew that he'd never do anything to hurt her like that.

But Rosemary was just too scared to see it.

As Rosemary's phone buzzed quietly from beside the teenager, she glanced at it and then looked at her sister; who wasn't paying attention.

Gently biting her lip, the ravenette looked at the notification and seeing who it was, her eyes softened as a small smile twitched at her lips.

Glancing up at her sister once more, she made sure she wasn't paying attention as Aphmau opened her own phone and pressed on her contact list.

The ride to school was pretty quiet as Aphmau had been texting away the whole ride and the werewolf didn't bother to look; it wasn't any of her business.

Standing in the bathroom with their friends, Rosemary smiled softly and looked between them.

'So, who're you crushing on?',Katelyn asked and looked towards Aphmau, teasingly raising her eyebrows up and down.

A small smile formed on the werewolf's face and she looked up, glancing between the two as her twins face went bright red.

'W-What!? What're you talking about!'

A giggle left Teony's lips and her shoulder shook as she smiled, slowly shaking her head as she looked at the ravenette.

'It's written all over your face'

'No it's not!'

'Yes it is~'

'No it's not!'

'Yes it is'

A laugh of disbelief left Aphmau and she quickly shook her head.

'I'm not'

'You had that same look on your face as you did when you were thinking about Aaron'

Raising up her arms, Rosemary looked towards her sister and grinned, shrugging slightly.

"Might as well tell them Aph, they've got you in quite the bind"

Looking at her sister in betrayal, the girl's face turned a brighter red and she looked between the three girl's, a small squeak of embarrassment leaving her.

She lifted her hand and covered her face, small whines leaving her lips as her friends continued to talk.

'I-I'm not crushing on—!'

The toilet flushed and a meif'wa with pink hair and black cat ears and a tail walked out, looking between them.

'It's Kai-Kun!'

Trying to stifle her laugh, Rosemary held a hand to her stomach and threw her head back, a gentle laugh leaving her lips as her canines glistened.

Hearing the sound, Teony and Katelyn looked towards the beta, small smile twitching at their lips.

The young werewolf had no idea how Kawaii~Chan knew but she did know that her saying it out loud and seeing Aphmau's face go bright red as she tried to stutter out a response, made her lose it, gentle giggles leaving her mouth.

'Wha-?'

'Who!?'

Sure they were all surprised that Kawaii~Chan had appeared out of nowhere, but Rosemary was having the time of her life right now; this was the funniest thing she's ever witnessed.

She was so busy laughing that she didn't hear them talking about Kai.

Hearing her phone buzz, Rosemary hummed and took it out of her pocket, opening her phone as she looked at the message.

Dottie.

'Well, you drew him for your art project, you wrote about him for your creative writing essay that you asked me to read and also you blush at his name'

Eyes widening, Aphmau stepped back and her eyes widened.

'W-Well, I'm not the only one that has a crush!'

Tensing up, Rosemary's vermilion eyes widened as her friends slowly turned towards her and she looked between them, a small drop of sweat falling down her face.

Oh Irene, no.

Please no.

Someone come and save her from this nightmare.

A soon as a squeal left Kawaii~Chan's lips, Rosemary immediately turned around and ran out of the bathroom, hearing as hurried footsteps followed after her.

'Get back here Rosemary, we're so talking about this!'

"Katelyn no, leave me alone! There's nothing to talk about!"

Running into her class, Rosemary hurriedly took her seat and hid her face in her arms, her face a bright red.

Feeling a hand on her shoulder, the girl jumped and turned towards the person, a low growl escaping her lips.

But seeing Daniel staring at her with worry in his beautiful ocean blue eyes, the beta tensed up, red slowly coating her cheeks as her heart pounded against her chest.

'Are you okay, Rose? You seem upset'

Staring into his eyes, the girl's lips parted and her heart pounded as goosebumps appeared on her skin, her left ear twitching slightly.

Normally being around him made her feel butterflies but the way her heart pounded made her swallow slightly.

Talking about crushes earlier only made her more nervous since she was looking at her crush right now and he was staring at her with worry in his beautiful eyes.

"Yeah.. I'm okay",Rosemary said and slowly nodded, a small smile on her face,"I was just thinking about something my friends and I were talking about earlier"

Looking in between her eyes, the teenager nodded and a small smile spread across his face.

The way he smiled at her only made her heart pound more and she tried to calm down, not wanting him to get suspicious of the way her cheeks were starting to turn red.

Feeling her phone buzz in her pocket, Rosemary tore her eyes away from the adorable werewolf and looked down at the screen, reading the message which caused her eyebrows to furrow in confusion; Dottie.

I've got everything handled, don't worry your pretty little head about anything ;3

Sending back a question mark, the teenager watched as her friend only read the message and didn't respond, which caused a small frown to form on her lips.

What was she up to.

Class ended a lot quicker than she thought it would, but Rosemary didn't complain and was quite happy to rush out of there, excited that was her last class.

It was the end of the day and she wanted to rush home and hide for as long as possible.

'Hey Rose, wait up!'

Hearing Daniel's voice, the girl slowed down and her eyes widened slightly as he caught up to her, causing her to tightly hold her books to her chest.

'Umm.. you-.. you don't mind if I walk you home right?',The boy asked and nervously reached his hand to rub the back of his head, red slowly beginning to coat his cheeks.

With her grip tightening on her books, Rosemary looked up at him and her eyes widened slightly, her heart pounding as a small smile formed on her face.

"I don't mind at all"

Smiling back, Daniel perked up and his tail began to sway a bit quicker, before he looked forward, thinking back to his conversation with Dottie earlier.

Rosemary.. liked him.

The prettiest werewolf in school actually had a crush on him and it made his heart jump for joy whenever he thought about it.

He wanted to talk with her about it but right now wasn't the right time, she would just get nervous and run off, he didn't want to scare her by suddenly blurting out that he knew she liked him.

It wasn't that she scared him, he just didn't want to scare her by telling her that he knew about her feelings.

'Hey Rose, I wanted to tell you that—'

Watching as Aphmau ran by them, sobs leaving her lips as tears ran down her face caused them to stop and Rosemary tensed up, her eyes wide with worry.

"Aphmau!"

Seeing that she didn't stop and only continued to run off, Rosemary looked after her running figure with worry and went to chase after her but froze up, looking towards Daniel.

Nodding towards where their alpha had run off, a soft smile formed on Daniel's face and he gave her a gentle push on her shoulder.

'Go after her, I'll text you later and we can talk more then'

Thanking the boy, Rosemary pressed a quick kiss to his cheek without even realizing it and ran off after her sister, leaving Daniel there with a gaping mouth and red cheeks as his eyes gleamed.
