—they met at scoops ahoy once the mall opened, and instantly they connected, not just on a platonic level. mitchy never really considered her sexuality/label that much until she met robin. she had been attracted to girls in the past, but she was also attracted to guys, so she didn't think anything of it.
—sooner than later robin and mitchy became a thing, but it was a secret relationship both because they knew they would be ridiculed by family/society if they came out, but also cause they didn't know where they were going with it.
—steve found out not so long after they were 'together' and he was the only that knew, and still to this day is the only one who knows.
—robin and mitchy were the only two that knew russian (mitchy more fluently than her) so they were the ones that cracked the russian's code, and it brought them closer because of it.
—they 'dated' for a few months (they never really made it 'official') before they decided they should just stay friends. it was difficult to maintain a relationship in secret, and it was also hard for mitchy to commit to robin since she watched her whole life her parents relationship/marital problems, and didn't want to risk those problems for herself or robin.
—it was overall a mutual decision, but robin was definitely more 'in' the relationship than mitchy, possibly just about the 'i love you' stage, but she understood that it wasn't going to work anymore.

—since he lived across the trailer park from mitchy, she has always known eddie, but mostly just in passing. she knew who he was, that he was the same age as her, and that a lot of people in hawkins went to him to buy drugs. she also knew he loved his metal music (since she would always hear him playing guitar all the way from inside her trailer) but that was pretty much it.
—he also would often come into mitchy's music store, and she was forced to keep an eye out for him stealing anything (her mom's orders, not hers) and they would interact when he would buy a record every so often, as well as sometimes in the trailer park when he was smoking weed outside or something, but that was really it.
—it wasn't until one day when eddie walked into mitchy's job, that he saw her sitting on one of the stools near the back of the store plucking some of the strings on one of the electric guitars they had on sale. he went over to her and struck up a conversation about how he didn't know she played guitar, and she simple told him she didn't, but she was trying to learn.
—and then from that day forward eddie came almost every single day, and showed her a few new chords on the guitar each day. it became their thing, plus some other side conversations, and then one thing led to another; he invited her over to his trailer one day to hang out and show her his guitar.
—that soon became their new thing. hanging at his trailer when she wasn't working, or when he wasn't at school or she wasn't taking her college classes. then, they would smoke a bit, after mitchy had mistakenly said she had smoked before but not a lot, and the thought of getting high with mitchy lennon excited eddie just a little...too much.
—they didn't get high too often thought, since mitchy couldn't always pay eddie back for it, and she felt bad even though he insisted it was fine.
—mitchy didn't really tell any of her other friends about her little friendship with eddie, because she knew he was judged a lot, just like her, and she didn't really find it necessary. no one knew until, one day after eddie begged her countless amount of times to sit in on a game of d&d with his 'hellfire club' (which she definitely teased him about a bit) she showed up at the high school at the club with eddie, which caused plenty of confusion for mike and dustin, (and lucas, who missed that game but found out from the other boys later).
—and shortly after that, much to mitchy's displeasure, was when eddie got wrapped into all the upside down nonsense after witnessing/being accused of the murder of hawkins high school's queen, chrissy cunningham. and, without thinking, she does whatever she can to help the boy that she was growing to deeply care about, as much as she hated to admit it.

—mitchy's relationship with her mother is complicated. she loves her of course, but since she was a young age she was forced to work with her mom, which she hated. this, plus many other reasons, she felt she lost some of her childhood, and she blames her mom for it.
—she respects her mom and how hard she works, but there's a lot of things she doesn't bat an eye to which bothers her daughter, for example, mitchy's dad's alcoholism, which has affected mitchy greatly throughout her adolescence. she doesn't do anything to stop it, or stop him from the nasty things he says to her or mitchy sometimes when he's drunk, and she's hurt by it. especially cause she doesn't often check on mitchy, and has no idea about all the scary shit mitchy has unintentionally got into over the past few years, which later turned into ptsd, and fueled her anxiety and depression.

➺ jack lennon — 4/10

relationship description ;
—mitchy's relationship with her father is even more complicated. she doesn't feel like she's had much of a father since she was a little kid since that's when he really started drinking. he drinks on the job, and as a construction worker, the job is already dangerous as is, so mitchy is scared every time he walks out the door.
—on top of that, there's been more times than she could count that jack would come to either mitchy or kathleen, and say how terrible they are, and how they do nothing for him and he regrets having this family, that it 'ruined his life'. but, then when he's sobering up, he cries to them about how he never meant it and how 'sorry' he is.
—all the screaming and fighting jack has done with kathleen in front of mitchy has scared her for her future relationships, and worries the young girl about if she'll ever have a happy relationship with someone she loves.
—there's very few moments with her dad that are nice, but when he has those few days or even just hours that's he's sober and home with her, she can bond with him in some way. but, because of all the trauma he has caused her, it's very hard for mitchy.

➺ steve harrington — 10/10

—mitchy never expected to become best friends with the steve harrington, but after being out on babysitting duty with him after shit had gone wrong on multiple occasions, they didn't have much of a choice in the matter but to converse and get along. it was during that time that the pair realized just how similar they were.
—as they got to know each other more, steve admitted to having a crush on mitchy in middle school, much to mitchy's disbelief, but obviously never said anything to mitchy cause he thought she would reject him. mitchy audibly laughed in his face when he told her that, because she never thought steve harrington, who was popular even in middle school, would have a crush on some girl from the trailer park.
—after steve and mitchy both got hired at scoops ahoy, he was more excited to be working with mitchy than anything else. so you can imagine his disappointment when she told him she wasn't going to be working with him and robin at family video since she needed time in her schedule for college.
—steve is very protective over mitchy, especially when it comes to guys with her. steve is one of the only people she has talked about her parental problems with since he shared similar experiences.

—mitchy and dustin always knew each other because of when she was babysitting will, he and the rest of the boys were always with will when she wasn't babysitting him (sometimes when she was babysitting him).
—when dart went loose, mitchy was the first person dustin called. ever since then, dustin has been attached to mitchy's hip, and she never complained.
—when dustin saw that mitchy was friends with eddie (possibly more than that) he felt like his worlds were colliding, and he wasn't sure if he liked it at first, but then he was ecstatic cause then he was envisioning the three of them all hanging out together.

—when mitchy originally met max, she was a little iffy about her cause she knew she was billy hargrove's stepsister, who was a known bully, sexist, homophobe, and racist, (clearly not someone mitchy liked) but once she saw how stark different the two were, and how she stood up for herself against billy, mitchy's perspective changed completely.
—as soon as she realized she was in fact a good kid, a great kid actually, just put in a terrible situation, (similar to mitchy) she became protective over the ginger. she became the sister mitchy never had and always wanted.
—their relationship got even stronger once max moved to the trailer park. although it wasn't under good circumstances, and mitchy knew that, both girls were glad to live so close to each other. mitchy helped max a lot with processing her emotions and everything that happened in starcourt, including the death of billy, because despite mitchy's opinion on him, she knew what it was like to mourn to lose someone/something. that's all mitchy knew in her life.
—so, similar to dustin, max attached herself to mitchy too. they would hang out anytime they could, whether it be at max's trailer, or mitchy's trailer. most of the time it was mitchy's, since she knew max didn't like to be home with her mother drunk, and more often than not mitchy was home alone.
—after max shut everyone out, mitchy was basically the only person she would ever reach out to, and the only person she leaned on if she needed anything, which mitchy was completely fine with.

relationship description ;
—mitchy babysat will ever since she was 13, and will was 7/8 years old. she babysat him up until he went missing, which devastated mitchy greatly. she often wondered in the beginning if she had a car, and if she were able to pick him up from the wheeler's that night, would he have gone missing? she did whatever she could to help joyce and jonathan look for will, even when others gave up hope.
—when will was finally found, mitchy soon after discovered why and how he went missing, and needless to say...it threw her for a loop. she continued to babysit will every once in a while, but most of the time joyce or jonathan did cause they were worried something would happen to him again.
—despite not seeing each other as much after she was no longer his 'official' babysitter, she always kept in touch with him and made sure he was okay. and she was always there for him as he was taunted and stalked by the mindflayer, doing everything she could to protect him.
—even once he moved to california, she was always writing will when she had the chance, checking up on him and making sure high school was going okay, since she was disappointed she couldn't be there for him in person during his first year as a high schooler.

relationship description;
—joyce and mitchy always got along very well, and mitchy was always the daughter joyce never had. when mitchy first started babysitting will, joyce paid her, but as mitchy got close to the family and genuinely enjoyed being around joyce and her family, when times got tough for the byers, mitchy made sure joyce knew she didn't have to pay her. of course joyce insisted, since she knew times were tough for mitchy as well.
—when will went missing, and mitchy tried to be there to help them look for will, mitchy noticed they started to push her away for some reason. she didn't know why until she found out later on all the supernatural that played into it, and that joyce didn't want her to get more involved since she didn't want her to get hurt.
—mitchy is always welcome at the byers', and even when joyce and the kids move to california, joyce makes sure to tell mitchy that she is just as welcome in their cali home as she was in their hawkins home, and even offered to pay for her plane ticket whenever she decided to come visit.

relationship description ;
—similar to how dustin was often there when babysitting will, it was almost always the same with lucas. he's always just been there, and lucas always loved mitchy.
—because of the pairs similar sense of humor and wit, they would always make little comments and remarks to each other, some more teasing than others, but it was all in good fun. she could see how much lucas loved her, and vice versa, and she just loved being able to make the kid laugh.
—when lucas joined the basketball team and started hanging more with the 'popular' crowd, although it didn't sit well with her that he was with them because she didn't trust the preppy jocks, she never judged him for trying basketball and getting new friends. she knew he was still growing up and trying to figure what things he liked, and she was happy for him regardless, as long as he was safe.

➺ eleven/jane hopper — 8/10

—mitchy didn't get to know eleven very well in the beginning cause they weren't always around the same times, and she had to stay hidden from the public, etc. etc. but, once el made herself more and started growing into her own, mitchy helped her find herself. she played different kinds of music for el, showing the girl her very eclectic taste in music, and even her different fashion sense too.
—one thing that really stood out about el to her and what she always appreciated was eleven was always interested and keen to learning new things. she was always excited to see the new things mitchy or anyone else showed her, and it made mitchy happy that she could help even in the slightest to give the girl who had her childhood ripped away discover who she really was.
—el always appreciated how mitchy never saw her as the 'girl with powers', yet just a young girl trying to learn about life and what it had to offer her. they had a special bond, a sweet, innocent friendship.

➺ jim hopper — 7/10

relationship description;
—it wasn't until after will's disappearance that mitchy started to get to know hopper and form a friendship/relationship with him. it took time, especially cause both didn't like each other first necessarily, (mostly mitchy not liking hopper, cause she didn't like cops period) and hopper was always wary of mitchy and her parents since he had unfortunately had to deal with her father before. but, sooner than later he realized she was a good kid, and a smart one too.
—they became closer too when he realized how much he cared for el and how good he was to the girl and the rest of the kids.
—mitchy started to look up to hopper, since she saw how good of a man he truly was, and especially how good of a dad he was.

➺ mike wheeler — 7/10

—mike was also always there with the rest of the boys, but when he was younger, he sorta stopped himself from being close with her, since he had heard a lot of 'bad things' from his mom and dad regarding basically anyone who lived in the trailer park.
—but, as he got older and spent more and more time around mitchy, he realized how wrong and judgmental his family and many others were towards her, and how she was a really cool person to be around.
—when mitchy came around to hellfire for the first time, his jaw dropped so low it probably would've hit the floor, since he didn't understand how even though eddie and mitchy lived so close each other, he never imagined them being anything similar to friends. it didn't make sense to him, but he gained more respect towards mitchy that day and thought she was ten times cooler for just wanting to be there and watch them play d&d.

—mitchy has always known jonathan, always seen him in school, and probably one of the only people to actually see him, cause he recognized how he was viewed as an 'outsider' just like her. they never were friends necessarily, more so acquaintances.
—that changed once she started babysitting will and jonathan saw how much mitchy cared for will and he appreciated that more than mitchy realized. they grew to have a bond over protecting will, especially during and after he went missing, and they both were banding together to come up with plans to try and find his brother.
—ever since then, he has respected mitchy a lot, and only wants the best for her. if anything were to happen to her, it would be like losing his sister.

—nancy and mitchy didn't always get along. she was very judgy with her, especially when they were in school together, and mitchy knew nancy was one of the people saying bad things about her to mike.
—as they got older and matured, and learned to fight and shoot monsters together, they had developed some kind of friendship, but more often than not, the friendship didn't last outside saving the world or their friends.
—nancy would sometimes get jealous from the attention steve would give mitchy, and even jonathan too. the only thing that probably kept nancy from disliking her was how far she would go to protect her brother and even nancy if mitchy had to, since that's the type of person she was.
