SAMCRO'S clubhouse was at full capacity tonight as loud music played and other charters hung out with each other. It was a celebration for the club's VP—the prince of Charming's birthday.
Nikki Wilson found herself in the middle of the celebration. Well, behind the bar to be precise. Nikki had been an acquaintance of samcro for three years now. The smiley blonde had moved to Charming few years back with her boyfriend and quickly needed a job and she saw an ad in the paper about the local auto shop needing help in the office.
Of course Nikki heard the rumors about Teller-Morrow automotive, but she didn't care. Long story short—she got the job but lost the boyfriend.
"Darlin' Nikki can I get a beer?"
The blonde looked up at the sound of her nickname. Tig had given it to her on her first week, playing the scandalous Prince song whenever she was around.
A wide smile formed on her face as she stared at the Scotsman, a smile on his scarred face.
The Wilson woman was a sucker for accents and Chibs had the hottest one in her opinion, but she might be biased because of the giant crush she had on the man. Nikki was certain the moment she met him three years ago and he talked to her, that she fell in love. Even when she was with her boyfriend all she could think about was Chibs. Yeah, it sounded terrible but her ex was a terrible person.
"Here you go, Chibs." The blonde placed a beer in front of him.
Chibs thanked her and stood at the bar for a moment, staring at the blonde. The Scotsman loved seeing the wide smile on her face whenever someone said something funny to her or how she treated everyone with respect no matter if they were a fully patched member or a prospect. He wanted to tell her what he thought about her, thought about kissing her pouty lips everyday, but he shook his head and walked away.
A small sigh left her lips as she watched Chibs walk away. He looked as though he wanted to say more, but maybe Nikki was just imagining things, hoping for something more.
"I'm gonna go get some air." Nikki told Half-Sac as he poured a drink for another member from some other charter she wasn't too familiar with.
"Yeah, sure." Half-Sac nodded with a smile.
Nikki gave him a smile back before walking out from behind the bar and slowly making her way through the crowded clubhouse, wishing Jax a happy birthday as she passed him before exiting the loud party.
The air was cool as Nikki sat on one of the picnic tables outside. A fight was going on in the ring, but seeing grown men punch each other for some fun wasn't her idea of a good time, so she stayed where she was and lit up a cigarette and allowed the nicotine to fill her lungs.
The blonde's brown eyes wandered around the full lot of TM as she enjoyed the moment of being alone. Nikki didn't mind being around people, but sometimes she needed a few moments to herself to decompress.
"Fuck." She muttered, tossing her cigarette to the ground as she noticed a sleek black Mustang pull into the lot. Guess her few moments of being alone were over with now. "What are doing here, Vince?" She frowned, crossing her arms across her chest as she stared at her ex boyfriend.
It had been almost a year since she kicked Vince to the curb, but every now and again he liked to show up at random places he knew she would be to cause some trouble. Nikki found it a little surprising that he showed up at TM because he always acted so fucking scared of them whenever they were still dating.
"I want you back, Nikki. I fucking love you." His speech was slurred as he walked towards her. "It's been a year you've had time alone just take me back." He pleaded with her as he reached out to touch the crowning blonde's hair.
Nikki quickly backed away from him. His breath smelled of Vodka as he tried to reach for her again. Vince liked to party—too much. That on top of many things was why Nikki finally broke up with him. He flipped out at first, calling her names and throwing a tantrum. It got so bad at one point she had to call Gemma and the Queen of Samcro quickly arrived with Chibs in tow.
"Vince, you need to leave." Nikki keep her voice firm as she back up further away from him. "You're drunk and you're causing a scene."
"No! I don't give a fuck! I want you back, Nik." He sounded like a whiny child who just got told no and it made the blonde cringe.
"She told ya to fuckin' leave."
Nikki felt a sigh of relief leave her lips at the sound of Chibs voice. She quickly felt his presence behind, calming her down as he placed a hand on her lower back.
"Who the fuck are you? She's my girlfriend." Vince argued.
"No lad, she's not." Chibs stated matter of factly as he kept his hand planted firmly on her back. "If you keep fuckin' bother her there will be a problem." The Scotsman promised.
"Whatever." Vince scoffed as he threw his hands up in the air. "She's not even fucking worth all this bullshit." He muttered before walking back towards his car and peeling out of the lot.
"You okay, lass?" Chibs questioned once Vince was gone.
Nikki nodded, turning to face the scarred man. "Thank you, Chibs. I really appreciate it." She smiled while leaning up to place a kiss on his scarred cheek.
Chibs quickly leaned down and placed his lips against hers before she could apologize for being too forward.
"Would ya wanna get dinner with me?" He questioned once their lips broke apart.
A wide smile crossed her face as she nodded. "Of course I would. I've only been waiting for you to ask me out since I dumped Vince." The blonde laughed as she watched a look of shock cross his face.
"Shite." Chibs cursed at his stupidity. "I'll make it up to you for keepin' ya waitin' darlin' Nikki." He promised with a smirk as he pressed his lips against her once again.
