Theresa Murphy couldn't help the giddy smile making its way across her face as she read the comments under Charles Leclerc's post. If she could, she would be commenting much the same thing, but as a verified celebrity she unfortunately could not express her admiration for the Formula 1 driver in that way.

Still, she enjoyed reading what others thought, and of course seeing Charles post on his Instagram was always a pleasant occurrence. Tessa only wished he'd post more often, though she knew how stressful posting on an account with millions of followers could be.

She was interrupted from her scrolling as her phone started ringing, an unfamiliar call ID lighting up the screen. Tessa hesitated at the sight, weighing the pros and cons of answering. It could be just spam, or worse, a fan that had managed to get her number. Or it could be something important, someone important that her agent gave her number to? Though unlikely, Tessa was unwilling to possibly miss out on an opportunity, so she answered the phone.

"Hello?"

That was all the young star managed before a long string of words came from the other line, so fast and bunched up together she was barely able to understand what they were saying.

"...and 2 large pepperoni's," the person on the other side finished. It was a male voice, with a distinct french accent to it, prominent in the way he rolled his r's while speaking.

A faint yell came through the phone, someone on the other side standing away from the phone. Tessa managed to catch 'spicy' before the first man continued speaking.

"Sorry, is the pepperoni used on the pizza spicy? Because if so we will change one of those pizzas to a margherita one."

Theresa was confused, to say the least. "Uh... what?"

"Sorry, did you not catch all that?" the man asked. "I can start again-"

Another voice came through the speaker. "What is taking so long Pierre?"

"She didn't hear the order," the first man, Pierre, said. Definitely french.

Tessa frowned. Order? From what she'd gathered, it sounded as if whoever was calling her was ordering pizza, and a lot at that, but why were they calling her?

"Can't anyone just do their job?" Tessa heard the other man say and, feeling slightly offended even though she didn't work at a pizza place, decided to speak up.

"I think you've got the wrong number," she interrupted, before they could tell her their order again.

There was silence on the other end before, "you are not Paul's Pizza Place?"

Theresa grinned at the French man's blatant confusion, unable to hide her amusement. She was glad this was a phone call.

"No, it's not," she answered wryly.

There were muffled words coming out of the phone then, and Tessa heard many more voices than two come through the phone.

"Are you sure you put in the correct phone number?" Another man asked. He also sounded French.

"Positive," the first French man, Pierre, said.

There were a few more muffled words before someone exclaimed. "You put a two there instead of a three!"

Tessa realised they were looking at her call ID and felt a bout of panic that she quickly smothered. She just couldn't let them know who she was, and she'd be fine. There was a sudden clamoring of voices shouting through the speaker, and though Tessa didn't manage to catch everything they said, she did catch enough to get the gist of it, and after hearing a few unsavoury words felt bad for the French man, Pierre.

"I feel I should speak up and remind you that verbal abuse can be considered as harassment."

Another beat of silence. "You didn't hang up?!" one of the men accused.

"I didn't have much of an opportunity with all you yelling at me," Pierre defended. "And she is right, you know. I could sue you."

"How would anyone know?" another man challenged.

Theresa had to muffle her laughter as they started arguing on the outcome of Pierre going to the police because of harassment.

"I am a witness," she reminded them. "I could easily go to court in his defence."

"Exactly!" Pierre said. "I expect handwritten apologies from all of you if you want me not to go to court."

Theresa couldn't help but smile at the ridiculous turn of events.

"We've gotten distracted," another person said. "We're supposed to be getting pizza."

There murmured 'yeahs' and 'rights' and Tessa was surprised to find she was slightly disappointed. She had enjoyed this phone call more than she had expected to.

"Well, I hope you get your pizza," Tessa said. "And those handwritten apologies. Otherwise I will help sue you all."

There was laughter on the other line before Pierre spoke again. "Thank you... sorry, what was your name?"

Tessa hesitated. These people already had her number, so if they found out who she was and leaked her number, things would not end well. But giving them her first name wouldn't hurt, would it?

"Theresa," she eventually said. "And you are Pierre, yes? I managed to catch your name amidst your friends harassment."

Pierre laughed. "Yes, that's me. Well, pleasure talking to you Theresa."

"And you," she said.

Just as Tessa ended the phone call, she heard multiple people shouting out goodbyes and grinned, shaking her head. That had been an eventful phone call, but also a good one. It would definitely make a good story to tell her friends, that's for sure.
