Tessa looked around, seeing nothing but endless trees before her, each one the exact same as the last. She could- very distantly- hear Daniel's yelling, and hurried towards it, quickening her pace with every snapping twig and swaying branch she heard.

She had just passed a particularly familiar looking tree, starting to fear she was walking in circles, when two strong arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her towards a muscled chest.

She let out a shriek, hands going to the arms on her waist to push her assailant off when she felt a familiar face nuzzle her neck, pressing kisses on her skin. She laughed breathlessly at Charles, hands going to his hair, tangling her fingers in it.

"You scared me," she laughed.

Charles' lips grinned on her skin. "Sorry."

Tessa snorted. "You're not sorry at all."

Charles' grin widened. "I'm not sorry at all."

He nipped her skin before pulling back, spinning her around to face him. He cradled her face in his hands, admiring her, looking for all the world like she was the only thing he'd ever wanted. She blushed at the intensity of it.

"Marry me."

Tessa blinked. "What?"

Charles was serious in his request. "Will you marry me?"

Theresa was shocked, gobsmacked even, unable to form a single word. All she could think about was Charles, standing in front of her, asking her to marry him. And the fact she desperately wanted to say yes.

The girl's face broke into a ear-splitting grin. "Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes!"

Charles let out a laugh and swung her around, grinning madly at her. "My fiance."

Tessa beamed at him. "Your fiance."
