Charles stared at the screen, turning the wheel in his hands and watching as the car inside the screen followed suit.

"Oh my god, oh my god," he laughed, driving right up the back of Lando's car. "mate move."

There was muffled sound from Lando's speaker before. "Fuck you."

Charles laughed again, speeding up to try and pass Lando.

Charles stared attentively at the screen as he turned the corner, going head to head with the orange car belonging to Lando. 

"I do not even need to look at the chats to know you guys want me to crash into Lando," he laughed. "So here you go."

"Charles nO-"

Lando was cut off as Charles slammed his car into the orange one, causing them to both spin in circles before finally regaining the ability to steer. Charles landed on top, in front of Lando as he continued the circuit.

"Mate I think you need to look at the chat," Lando spoke, glancing away from his phone and back onto the screen.

Charles shook his head. "No, no, no, I will not be falling for your tricks today mate. You cannot trick me."

Lando glanced at the chat momentarily, grinning at what he saw.

"Mate your girlfriend is on the chat," Lando said

Charles paused, eyes finally glancing at the chat before back at the screen. "What? Tessa doesn't have twitch."

Lando turned a corner, catching up to Charles who had slowed down at Lando's words. "She does now. Check the chat."

Charles did so, tearing his gaze away from the screen to properly focus on the chat

Charles let out a laugh. "Wait is she actually....?"

"She's tessa123," Lando replied, checking his phone. "She just texted me."

Charles stared at the chat more closely. "Oh I found you! What are you doing on here Tessie?"

tessa123: you forgot to unlock the door

Charles frowned, staring at the chat.

"I forgot to unlock the...." Charles's eyes suddenly widened. "Oh. Oh! Oh my god. I am so sorry. I forgot to unlock the door- my girlfriend is waiting outside."

Lando let out a high pitched laugh, slamming his hand on his desk. The laugh continued, Lando gasping for breath. "That is gold. Ohhh Tessa is gonna be so mad. This is amazing."

"Hang on, I need to let her in, I'll be back..." Charles said as he got up and left the view of the camera. 

Lando was left laughing, having driven past Charles ages ago and won the online race.

Lando just managed to get himself under control by the time Charles arrived back on screen, looking sheepish. Trailing behind him was an unimpressed Theresa Murphy.

Charles murmured something to Theresa, brushing a strand of hair from her face before grabbing the headset and gently placing it on Tessa's head.

"Lando?" she spoke, eyes scanning the screen before she found his cam.

Lando started laughing again. "Hey Tessa. Enjoying outside?"

Theresa glared at the camera, Charles standing beside her and rubbing the back of his neck guiltily.

"Next time get his attention sooner, yeah?"

Lando nodded in the midst of another fit of laughter, and Tessa huffed, but there was a smile on her face as she took off the headset and passed it back to Charles. As the formula one driver got settled into his desk chair again, Theresa murmured something to him and pressed a kiss to the top of his head before she left, Charles staring after her.

"Man, you are whipped," Lando snickered.

Charles shook his head, turning back to the screen. "You would be too if she was your girlfriend."

"Was she mad?"

Charles shook his head. "I am mad though. I am stupid, I should have remembered."

Lando shrugged. "Hey, she helped me win so I'm happy with how things turned out."

Charles frowned and looked at the screen more closely. "Oh my god, you bastard!"

Lando laughed again, and this time Charles laughed along with him.
