Theresa put her phone away and opened the bathroom door, walking back to her living room where her three friends sat spread across the couch and, in Conan's case, the floor. They all looked up when she entered, and Theresa had the familiar urge to run away and cry. 

These were her friends though, so she took a deep breath and sat down with them, trying to ignore their questioning gazes.

"Want to watch a movie?"

Tessa smiled at Olivia's suggestion, feeling calmer. The smile felt stiff though, as everything seemed to feel after leaving Mexico. She couldn't stop the crippling fear taking over her that she was going to lose Charles. That this 'break' was going turn into a break up. 

She missed him a lot. She hadn't realised how used to being with him she'd gotten until she had to spend time apart from him. It was lonely, really lonely. She hadn't felt this bad about someone since after Cameron, and the comparison made her want to hit something. Namely her ex boyfriend's face, but she could settle for a pillow.

She just missed Charles.

She hoped he missed her too.
