Pᴀɴᴀᴄᴇᴀ Hᴀᴍᴍᴇʀ

After Pan's fourth period of the day, the bell rang signaling the start of lunch.

Several kids rushed out immediately with majority of the others trailing after them, Pan being the last one(minus the teacher) to leave the classroom.

Pan managed to make it to her locker before someone found her.

"Hey! Hammer!"

Pan mentally groaned at the familiar masculine voice of her tormentor.

"Thought you were as good as dead," James Snyder half smirked and half scowled at her.

'You wish,' Pan remarked mentally, only barely able to keep the scowl off her face as Richard, Kingston, and Finnigan surrounded her.

Pan's annoyance flickered onto he face for a second as the students just walked past, not doing anything to help her or stop the boys.

"Ha, look at that boys," Richard smirked, "The Silence is annoyed with us."

The boys laughed along with him and Pan barely managed to stop herself from rolling her eyes. All she wanted to do was get to the cafeteria so she could have her pill then go to the stupid meeting she had to endure with her mother and the Principal.

"What ya gonna do, Silent freak?" James smirked as he and his goons came closer to her, "Call for your mommy?"

James laughed with his goons before a hand was placed on his shoulder firmly.

Pan grinned up at her mother who had a blank, yet cold and furious look on her face, "She won't need to. I'm right here, boys."

James paled and stuttered nervously as the three other boys ran for it.

Pan spotted a smug looking, smirking Jack and a wickedly grinning Miko down the hallway, each by their own lockers. Her eyes narrowed on Jack before a small smile appeared, subtly thanking the boy.

Jack winked at her as Thalia whispered something into James' ear, his face paling with every whispered word.

James screeched and sprinted away from a rather smug Thalia.

"That was fun," Thalia chuckled, winking at Pan who was silently giggling away.

Pan made a face as she made motions with her hands to her mother who sighed, "You really need to work on your time management," She shook her head at Pan.

Pan gave her mother a shrug before making more faces, "Yes, your friend Jack brought me here," Thalia gave the boy a short wave and a thankful smile before placing her hand on Pan's shoulder and leading her daughter along.

"We have a meeting, Missy," Thalia grinned to Pan who mock (silently) groaned and rolled her eyes.

"Don't give me that attitude, little miss trouble maker," Thalia teased and Pan smirked mischievously.

Jack chuckled from his locker as he caught the last of the two's conversation, Miko sneaking up beside him.

"She's wicked," Miko grinned as Jack jumped in the air, his eyes wide as he blinked owlishly at her, "Silent, but deadly. Even if no one knows it."

"Huh?" Jack managed out, his brain still going over the jump scare she gave him.

Miko only gave the boy a wild grin before skipping her way down the hallway to the cafeteria. Her pigtails rising and falling as she did.

Pan held an interested, yet bored mask on her face as she listened to the Principal make many excuses for his student's actions and for his and the other teacher's inactions.

Thalia noticed her daughter's disattention but did even bother trying to bring her to attention. This whole meeting was bullshit. It was obvious that the teachers either hated Pan because she never answered their questions in class or showed them "disrespect" by not talking at all or they just plain ignored her because of her selective muteness.

"Is there anything we can do?" the Principal asked finally.

Thalia raised an eyebrow at him, "Fix up all of your bullshit."

The Principal choked on air as Pan snorted at her mother's straightforwardness.

"Pardon?" The Principal managed to ask.

"Stop your bullshit. We both know you don't care for my daughter's wellbeing, you only really care about me paying you to "do your job" without doing it and the "show" I "give you"," Thalia snapped at him, the old man's cheeks reddening with embarrassment and anger as she called him out.

Pan coughed her laughter into her elbow and the Principal barely hid his growl of anger at the sight.

"I have half the mind to take my daughter out of this school and stop all of my funding," Thalia growled out, her own green eyes dark with anger.

The Principal paled instant, "Now, let's not make any hasty decisions here," He chuckled nervously. Thalia raised an eyebrow at the sweating man, her lips in a scowl as she looked him over.

Pan wrinkled her nose at the mess of the man, that was this school's lousy principal.

"We'll talk to the boys and I'll call a staff meeting this afternoon," The Principal smiled nervously.

"You better," Thalia hissed out, "Or I'll be going to the Police to report this."

The Principal paled even further as Panacea's mother sat back in her seat with a triumphant grin on her face.

Pan poked her mother's arm, then rolled her eyes at the Principal and motioned to her mother's watch then to the door.

"Okay, I'll meet you afterward," Thalia nodded to Pan who quickly walked over to the door and pulled it open. She paused then gave the Principal a smirk as she sent him a wink as if to wish him good luck then she was gone.

"Now that my daughter is gone...." Thalia started, making the Principal pale as she turned her furious protective mother glare onto him, "What the hell were you thinking-!"

Pan cringed at her mother's yells as she attempted to get as far as way as possible before anything else happened.

When Pan made it to her fifth-period class, she slid into a seat beside Jack(the bell ringing as she did).

"How'd it go?" Jack grinned.

Pan scowled then smiled and Jack snickered.

"Mr. Principal totally deserved it," Jack chuckled as Pan nodded her head.

Pan quickly brought out a pen and some post-it notes, 'My Mom was yelling at him after I left.'

Jack coughed his laugh into his arm, "I would've paid to see that."

'I bet you would've,' Pan wrote, rolling her eyes at him a smile present on her lips.

Who wouldn't?
