"Helping others is not a weakness."
Pan's breaths came out in a small cloud in the cool night air.
Her orange jacket bright against the dark desert as she trekked across it. Pan had thought of what Ratchet's reaction to her monthly trek would be and decided to go against him anyway.
Her black bag almost invisible in the night as she shifted its weight the slightest with her nimble hands. Pan's green eyes dancing around to make sure that no coyotes were around to even try hunting her.
Honestly, Pan knew that Logan and her mother would be fine with this; it was her other friend's reactions that had her stumped. Pan was unsure if they'd be upset with her or understanding.
Pan glanced around as she spotted the night was lightening up. An owl or two hooting in the distance quietly, and she quickened her pace. Every time she heard an owl hoot, something bad always happened to her or something when bad when she was around.
As the day drew on, Pan breathed in relief. No one was around, nor had anything bad happened to her... yet. But of course, as soon as she thought that, she looked into the sky only to see a spacecraft go flying past her with several planes..... Nope, those were Decepticons, on its tail.
Pan groaned, looks like her bad luck spree wasn't over yet.
🛠️
'Seriously?' Pan grumbled to herself, 'That was such a 'con move,' she muttered mentally before ducking into the Decepticon's ground bridge.
Having watched a white mech with red and green lines running down his arms, chassis and in various other areas arrived only to be attacked by the Decepticons. The white mech who Pan had assumed to be an Autobot(but you should never assume anything, especially when you hadn't had contact with anyone in Team Prime in a couple of days because you had decided to go on your monthly treks through the desert), had held his own before a Decepticon had snuck up behind him and knocked the poor mech out.
As soon as she landed in the warship, Pan immediately looked around before darting to what looked to be a Cybertronian sized air vent.
Just enough space for Pan to walk through, holding a cloth over her nose and mouth to ensure that the dust-covered vents didn't cause her to sneeze.
Pan kept her eyes squinted as she peered through the dust, glancing through yet another vent grill into the massive room.
Pan grinned from behind the cloth over her face as she spotted the white mech, although it fell as she realized that he was dangling by chains.
'That's just rude,' Pan frowned, her eyes looking around the room and noticing two vehicons standing guard at the doorway.
Pan's orange jacket did end up drawing the attention of the 'bot in the room who's optics narrowed on her small form before Pan was sneaking away to go find the mech's swords and grenade.
The confusion in the mech's optics didn't fade.
🛠️
After Pan had located the swords and the grenade, she had fashioned a sort of sleigh with the swords as the "blades" of the sleigh and the grenade as the "seat" of the "sleigh".
A rope that Pan often used during climbs kept the two katana swords together with the grenade resting on top carefully.
Now the only problem was pulling them through the vents back to the Autobot. After all, Pan wasn't the strongest person around to luge the "sleigh" around.
Pan gritted her teeth as she pulled the "sleigh" through the vents. Her arms screaming at her to stop as she slowly made it further and further away from the previous room where she had found the Autobot's weapons.
So as soon as she reached the vent grill that blocked her from the room where the white Autobot was she almost collapsed. Well, Pan did collapse to her knees as she panted quietly, which alerted the Autobot that she had returned.
The Autobots optics widened in shock when he recognized his weapons through the grill, his intake dropped open slightly before his helm jerked to the door that a certain 'con walked through.
Pan barely paid attention to the words that the seeker spoke to the Autobot as she attempted to regain her breath(much quieter now that Starscream was in the room). She waited until the seeker had left the room to open the grill.
Pan held her breath as she gently pushed it ajar, accidentally sending a small noise through the room that caused the Vehicons to glance at each other as they looked up. One of them walked over to underneath the vent, which just happened to close to the white Autobot.
The Autobot took that as his chance, wrapping his legs around the Vehicon's neck cables, twisting its body as it started firing to the other vehicon who attempted to attack the Autobot before he was killed. The Autobot then twisted the vehicon his gasp neck cables after getting it to shoot his chains.
Pan grinned then waited for the bot to open the vent.
"What is a little squishy like you doing on the Decepticon warship?" He chuckled, holding his servo out for her. The Hammer girl shrugged as she hopped on.
'Looked like you needed a hand,' She held up the note for him to read, which gained a confused look before understanding.
The Autobot chuckled, "The name's Wheeljack," He smirked.
Pan smiled, 'Panacea Hammer, but everyone calls me Pan.'
"Well, Pan," Wheeljack smirked, "What do you say to getting out of here?"
Pan smiled, nodding her head in agreement as Wheeljack retrieved his weapons.
"Great," Wheeljack said, his optics showing his dark glee as he handled his swords.
🛠️
After the brilliance that Wheeljack was, fighting off all the cons for enough time to get through their groundbridge, to having Team Prime close it, then fighting off his copy and watching his friend throw Makeshift through the ground bridge with Wheeljack's grenade on him, Wheeljack had turned to Team Prime only to hear something coming from his storage space(otherwise known as a sparkling holder; But Pan didn't need to know that) in his chassis.
Wheeljack muttered a curse.
"Um, Jackie, please tell me that's not what I think it is," Bulkhead said warily.
Wheeljack rolled his optics at the green Autobot before opening his chassis and pulling out a familiar girl.
"Pan!?!?"
Said girl gave a sheepish grin, a light layer of dust on her clothes causing her to sneeze.
"Bless you," Raf said immediately.
Here's Chapter Twenty-Three.
Lol, who hates me now because of that cliffhanger?
(God bless Raf.)
