"The calm before the storm."

The first thing Pan did when she woke up the next day and saw that her guardian was well and working again, was to give Ratchet a glare before hugging his digit.

Said 'bot almost spluttered in surprise before regaining his almost out of control emotions, a fond smile on his derma at the sight of the messy bed haired girl.

"Sorry for worrying you," Ratchet apologized to his charge, who's head shot up to shoot him another glare as if to say "You better be.".

Pan finally let go of the medic's digit, only to rapidly scold her guardian in sign language, half of which he missed because of her ranting in the middle of her scolding.

"Okay, Pan, I get it," Ratchet chuckled, interrupting the girl whose cheeks reddened slightly as she stilled her hands.

Pan brushed a finger under her eyes, and it took Ratchet a second to figure out that she was wiping a tear(anger that he had gotten them into this situation, or happiness that he was better, he couldn't tell) away.

"Please, don't do it again," the soft voice made Ratchet pause as he glanced around for the speaker for a second only for his optics to widen as he looked at his cr-arge.

The girl's eyes held an unreadable look in them, as she looked at her hands, her mouth now firmly shut.

Ratchet placed a digit under his cr-arge's chin, lifting her face up to look at him, "I won't," he vowed, "I promise on my spark."

Pan's relieved smile made her Autobot's spark jump in happiness, not that the medic knew that his cru-arge's own heart relaxed at his promise.

Pan's soft voice was heard once more, "Thank you."

Waving her goodbye to Ratchet, Pan made her way to her home, when the door opened to reveal her furious mother.

"And where have you been!?"

Pan winced, 'Sorry.'

Thalia scowled, "That isn't an answer, Panacea Hammer."

Pan made up an almost lie on the spot, 'I stayed over at a friend's house to make sure that they got better, my friend had gotten drunk yesterday and I wanted to make sure that they were okay after yesterday's events.'

Her mother narrowed her eyes at the response, "Really?" She asked her.

Pan nodded. It was the truth, it was just watered down, a little.

Thalia sighed, "Alright then," She nodded, finally calming down, if only slightly, "You didn't drink anything alcoholic did you?"

Pan's eyes immediately widened, shaking her head to her mother furiously, even if a friend had gotten drunk and was offering it to her, she'd never drink it.

Thalia sighed, "Good," she smiled, "Come on, Pan. Logan's back."

The woman chuckled as Pan all but sprinted into the house, before a thump was heard and a screech of surprise from the younger teen, "Pan!"

Pan laughed and Thalia shook her head as she entered the lounge to that Pan had tackled Logan to the ground and now had him pinned down by his wrists as she sat on his stomach lightly.

"Getff!" Logan grunted as he squirmed underneath her.

Pan answering smirk as she smirked down at him made Logan groan again, "How is it that someone so skinny is so heavy!"

Pan's mock outraged gasp made Logan grin before she was raining a massive attack of tickles onto him.

"Aunt Thals, help!" Logan managed through his laughter, attempting to squirm away from Pan, only for the girl to follow after him easily.

Thalia shook her head at the two, "Sorry, Logan, you did get yourself into this situation."

Logan pouted for a split second before he was laughing at Pan's ticking, "No fair!"

Pan laughed before finally decided to let her cousin breath again, letting up the tickling as she lay back against the carpet.

Logan let out a relieved sigh as he wiped the tears of laughter from his face, "You're mean, you know that right?"

A chuckle from Pan made Logan pout again, "Meanie."

"Lunch time!" Thalia called over to the two, placing the sandwiches on the dining room table.

Both teens looked at each other before bolting up, racing to the table, sliding gracefully into their seats and smiling innocently to Thalia who shook her head at them again.

"You'd think I never feed you two," She sighed, sitting down herself.

Pan and Logan glanced up from their sandwiches, 'No, never. We've been starved our whole life,' they both signed together.

Thalia raised an eyebrow at their sass, "No pudding I guess," she shrugged easily.

Both teens gaped at her, "No!" Logan gasped verbally as Pan signed it. Their eyes wide and horrified at what their aunt/mother said.

Thalia merely continued on with her lunch, a smug smile on her face.

"Mom!" Pan's phone protested.

"Aunt Thals!" Logan protested.

"Logan, Pan," Thalia said simply.

"Meanie," both Logan and Pan's phone said.

Thalia shrugged, replying simply with, "Children."

Both teens groaned, knowing that they lost the battle today.
