"If you're brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello."

(The new "Hello".)

"Don't forget the glassware," Logan reminded Thalia as he carried two boxes, one on top of the other, to the car.

"I won't!" Thalia called after him, "Gods, it's like you two are the parents instead of me," she shook her head as Pan smiled to her mother mischievously as she carried her own boxes.

Pan dodged Logan as he came back into the house to get more boxes, her eyes widening as her small tower of three boxes wobbled.

Logan quickly jumped in to help his cousin balance her stuff, "Careful," he teased her.

Pan poked her tongue out at him, the few ways she could communicate with her hands busy with the boxes.

Logan laughed at her as he made his way back to get the rest of his boxes, "Don't fall over!" he shouted back teasingly.

A grunt of frustration came from Pan, "Shuddup!" her phone called out as she finally put her boxes down in the boot of the car.

Logan's laugh came from inside the house, Thalia shaking her head at the two teens.

🛠️

"Here we are," Thalia announced as she pulled the car to a stop.

Logan and Pan shared a look as they looked at the single story house.

The house looked rather plain as it sat there innocently, it's pale brown bricks contrasted by the dark grey roof and garage door as well as the orange/yellow dusty desert that it sat on.

"It doesn't look like much, but I'm sure it'll be well fitted for us," Thalia smiled to the two teens.

'Brilliant,' Pan signed, enthusiasm on her face as she elbowed Logan who was still looking at the house.

"It'll be awesome," Logan agreed quickly, elbowing Pan back, which then caused an elbow fight between the two.

Thalia sighed at the two of them, shaking her head as she shut off the car and climbed out of the car.

The shutting of door made both Pan and Logan look up to see Thalia moving to the boot of the car.

'Oh, scrap,' Pan signed as she and Logan looked at each other before they both sped out of the car to help Thalia unpack the car.

🛠️

"Wow," Logan muttered as he entered the house first. Pan's face mimicked her cousin's as her eyes widened in amazement and her jaw dropped slightly.

"Told you so," Thalia smirked at the two of them as she went and placed her first box on the island in the kitchen.

"Okay, so, Pan," Thalia started as she led the two through the house, "You'll be in the bedroom closest to the bathroom, Logan, you'll be next to her. And I'll be in the master."

Pan nodded, ducking into her new room and placing her box on her bed. Logan followed after Thalia before heading into his new room.

Pan looked around her new room. Her queen bed(that had been moved earlier today) had it's orange sheets standing bright against the light grey leaf wallpaper and the green forest carpet.

Pan could hear Logan opening his closet before shutting it next door. The Hammer girl made her way to her windows. Her eyes lit up was she looked out into the Jasper, Nevada desert. A few mesas that she'd never climbed before catching her interested eyes.

"Pan?" Logan's voice brought her out of her thoughts, "You coming?"

Pan turned to look at her cousin, 'Coming,' she nodded with a smile and followed after him.

🛠️

A couple hours later, and several boxes each, the three of the small Bishop/Hammer family had finally finished.

Thalia was at the stove cooking some sausages while some vegetables were steaming next to the frypan.

Pan and Logan were sitting in the family room. Pan was on her laptop working away at some online homework that she had yet to finish while Logan was reading an app on his phone with an earbud in, listing to music.

Pan glanced from her screen to Logan, 'What you reading?' she asked.

Logan barely looked up, "A fanfiction called Harry Potter and the Sympathy of Souls, someone reposted it on Wattpad and it's a brilliant piece of work."

'What's it about?' Pan signed curiously.

"It's another Tomarry fic," Logan shrugged and Pan nodded in understanding before she went back to typing away.

Thalia glanced up and smiled at them, "Dinner's just about ready."

Pan looked up and nodded. "Okay," Logan said for the two of them.

While Thalia served up dinner and two finished up on their devices.

'Thanks, Mom,' Pan smiled as she grabbed her plate.

Logan grinned as he ducked around Pan, "Thanks, Aunt Thals."

Thalia chuckled as she followed them to the lounge, "Just don't tell me later that I'm mean."

Pan and Logan shared a look, "Why?" Logan asked as Pan signed her question.

"Let's just say, it's my turn to pick the movie tonight," Thalia said, a sly smirk on her face as both teens instantly groaned as the theme song of 10 Things I Hate About You came through the speakers.

Here's Chapter Thirty Two.

Not much happening here, sorry.
