"Ohana means family. Family means no one gets left behind, or forgotten."
Pan tapped her fingers against her knee as she waited for her guardian. Humming the beat to another popular song to keep herself entertained.
The low hum of Ratchet's alt-mode made Pan's head jerked up. A smile unconsciously spreading across her lips at the sight of him.
Pan quickly sent her mother a text saying she was going to be out with a friend before easily slipping inside Ratchet's alt-mode on his passenger seat.
"Hey, Ratchet," Pan's phone said for her, her smile still on her face.
Ratchet, even through his charge couldn't see it, smiled, "Greetings, Pan."
Pan couldn't help but giggle at his formal greeting, which(not that she could see it) made her guardian roll his optics.
"What was it that you wished to speak of?" Ratchet asked after his charge had calmed down.
Pan shifted nervously as she fumbled her hands. Ratchet was able to catch a few signs that she made(having had learnt from Rafael that his charge was capable of using her hands to speak, well, so to speak.) before she cut them off.
Pan's eyebrows furrowed as she tried to come up with the best solution to explain, "I'm sorta moving houses?" she finally typed into her phone.
Ratchet was silent for a while, "Not that we're leaving Jasper," Pan interjected quickly via phone, "We just needed to start over in a different house where we could have new memories. That's what I've been doing the past two days, packing up my stuff to move."
"Ah," Ratchet said, and Pan could image the bot nodding his helm as he stroked an imaginary beard. The image her mind came up with made Pan have to cover her mouth to muffle the giggles.
Ratchet's spark warmed at the sound of her amusement, even if he didn't want to show it. "What now?" He sighed.
"Silly thoughts," Pan's phone said as she waved it off.
"Alright," Ratchet said, amusement in his voice as he drove along.
Pan tilted her head as she looked out his window, 'Where are we going?' her hands signed unconsciously before she reached for her phone to type it in.
"For a drive," Ratchet answered, letting out a small chuckle as his charge dropped her phone in shock.
"Exclamation mark, exclamation mark," Pan's phone said making the girl's cheeks redden as she quickly reach down for it and quickly turned the volume off.
'You can understand ASL?' Pan asked with her hands, her eyes wide as she fought back her blush from when her phone went off.
Ratchet hummed, "Rafael mentioned that you used the language of hands so I took the liberty of learning it."
Pan's face lit up with a mix of joy, excitement and admiration for the bot who looked after her. 'Thank you,' she signed, touched that he'd do such a thing, even if it was to communicate easier with each other.
"You're welcome," Ratchet said easily, trying his damndest not to let his cooling fans kick in. His spark humming pleasantly as he watched his charge's happy face.
Pan, oblivious to anything wrong with her guardian, rested her head against the head rest and let her fingers trail unconsciously in an odd pattern on his seat.
Unknowingly sending sparks and shivers all throughout the mech's frame that he tried his damndest to cover up.

"All done?" Thalia asked her daughter who came into the house smiling oddly.
Pan nodded, not even bothering to take her shoes off, 'Yep. I just had to explain to my friend what was happening.'
Thalia nodded, eyeing her daughter curiously before shaking her head slightly, "Have you finished packing?" she asked as they walked down the hallway.
'Almost,' Pan shrugged, 'I just have a few things left.'
"Run along then," Thalia teased lightly, "Logan's in his room finishing up."
Pan nodded as she and her mother spilt off. Thalia to the lounge to finish collecting her photos and various other things as Pan headed to her room to finish the last box or so.
🛠
Thalia sighed as she placed the last photograph that she had wrapped in newspapers into the last box.
She closed the box and quickly tapped tape over it, to ensure the photographs and other items she was keeping would stay in the box.
Thalia sighed again, rubbing her eyes as she sat back on the couch before the silence of the house woke a thought, "Oh, schist," she muttered, scampering up immediately and heading down the hallway to the teens bedrooms.
Thalia paused to look in Logan's room, only to have her heart drop as she noticed all his boxes were filled(the few that he had compared to Pan and herself) but no young fourteen year old in the room.
She quickly, but quietly made her way to the next room, Pan's room.
Thalia breathed in relief as she spotted Logan sleeping next to Pan on the floor with their sleeping bags and pillows(as the bed had been stripped down).
A relaxed look on Logan's face as his head rested on his cousin's shoulder and Pan's arm wrapped around him both comfortingly and protectively, even in her sleep she was trying to protect the younger teen.
Thalia smiled before flicking off the light and gently closing the door. Her smile dimmed when past memories floated to the forefront of her mind.
"Thalia, you know that you're supposed to sleep in your own room," Leland sighed as he looked at his younger sister, her doe like eyes blinking innocently.
"Please, Leland?" young Thalia asked, "I can't get so sleep."
Leland stared her down, sighing when his sister obviously won, "Come here, " he said, patting the space next to him on his bed.
Thalia beamed as she left the doorway, the door shutting quietly behind her, and quickly scampered onto the bed, next to her brother. She wiggled under the blankets and Leland wrapped his arm around her as she rested her head on his chest.
"Can you tell me a story, Leland?" Thalia asked, looking up slightly at her brother.
Leland sighed, looking at her before giving in, "Alright," he started, "Have you ever heard the story about a boy who was a son of Poseidon?"
Thalia shook her head, her eyes bright as she stayed quiet, wanting to hear everything that her brilliant, kind, and loving big brother was going to say.
"Well, it all started when Perseus Jackson was on a school trip to the museum..."
As much as Thalia hated to admit it, she still loved her big brother. No matter what he had done, or what he would do.
Here's Chapter Thirty One.
Another oblivious Pan and just a little back story/dirt on Thalia and Leland.
(And if you wanted to know; I'm not having Pan with Team Prime durning the whole sickness thing with Optimus. Or the bit when Megs is in 'Bee's mind and returns to his own body.
I just feel like that would put a whole lot of stress on Pan as she would be moving as well as all the other things she, her mother and her cousin will be doing.)
Remember to vote on the Poll!
(Not sure when it will finish)
Hope you enjoyed!
