"We had no idea we were creating memories. We thought we were just having fun."

After the fiasco the night before, Pan and Logan waited outside the school building for their friends.

A couple students caught Pan's eye, such as a dark haired girl who practically screamed "I would rather be at home on my laptop than be with you jerks", a male teenager who herded his younger siblings into the school(two boys and one sister), and a kid who was dropped off in a rather fancy looking car.

"Boo!"

Pan jumped as Miko shouted in her ear. Logan laughing as he and Miko high fived. The boy's mood from the night before instantly gone in a heartbeat.

"That twasn't very nice," Pan pouted, her phone acting as her voice again.

"It wasn't meant to be," Miko grinned mischievously, almost the same grin as the boy next to her.

Jack sighed, rolling his eyes at the pair before he got knocked into, "Watch where you're going," the male teen snapped at Jack before storming off.

"Jeez, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today," Logan commented, scrunching up his nose.

Jack rubbed his shoulder, his eyes narrowed as he watched the teen who bumped into him go into the school in a hurry, "Tell me about it."

"What happened? Did I miss something again?" Raf asked, running up to them.

"No, not this time, Raf," Pan's phone answered.

Miko and Logan grinned as they noticed Jack's lingering look, "Not yet anyway," they said together, smirking at Jack as he turned, only to notice the two watching him and scowling at them.

"Oh, shut up," Jack rolled his eyes at them, only making their grins grow wider.

"I don't get it," Raf said, tilting his head at the other three.

"Neither do I," Pan's phone said as she let out a sigh, shaking her head at the "about to attack Logan and Miko" Jack.

"At least we're in the same boat," Raf sighed to her.

Pan nodded, sharing a confused look with Raf as Jack lunged at Miko and Logan who danced out of his reach, laughing as they riled up Jack even more.

'Oh, my god,' Pan signed unconsciously as she shook her head at her cousin and friends.

Raf giggled next to her as he watched her hands sign many vulgar signs as she sighed at the three.

"Pan! Pan!"

Miko's voice jerked Pan out of her thoughts and made the Hammer girl stop suddenly in her walk to her next class and turned around to spot the Japanese exchange student racing towards her.

Miko skidded to a halt right beside Pan who held an amused grin.

"Why did you tell us you were moving!?!"

Pan winced, she had been hoping to have avoided this question until after they had moved. Pan sighed, 'We just need to get away from that house,' She wrote out, 'Lots of memories we'd rather not remember.'

"That doesn't explain why you didn't tell us," Miko repeated, her eyes widening dramatically in fake(but a small amount of true hurt came out) sadness as she tried to guilt Pan.

Pan raised an eyebrow at her, 'Because you'd act like this?' She wrote, 'Besides, it's not like we're moving countries, we're just moving houses.'

Miko nodded, her fake look disappearing as a certain thought came into play, a mischievous grin spreading on her lips, "Don't forget to tell Ratchet!" she was gone in a flash, making Pan blink in surprise at the girl's departure.

'What?' Pan signed confused.

"Why did you tell Miko?" Pan's phone asked Logan as she sat down next to him at their table.

"Was I not supposed to?" Logan asked, his eyes moving from his phone to his cousin's.

Pan raised an eyebrow, 'She can be a little unpredictable at times,' she signed with a sigh.

"Oh," was all her cousin said, going back to his phone and munching on his sandwich.

Pan narrowed her eyes at him, and attempted to glance at his phone, only for the boy to pull back immediately, 'What are you doing?' Pan signed suspiciously.

"Nothing," Logan said quickly, shoving his phone in his pocket.

Pan immediately lunged for him, only for Logan to quickly dance away from her, 'Get back here!' Pan signed unconsciously as she chased after him.

Unknown to them, a dark haired girl glanced up from her own phone to look at the crazy cousins across the cafeteria, before rolling her eyes and typing a response into her phone.

"You're really moving?" Raf's voice asked Pan suddenly, causing the girl to jerk. Her pen sliding across her page and she let out a quiet groan before looking up at the young boy.

'Just across town, a different house, but same town,' Pan signed, knowing that Raf would understand the "strange" hand movements.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Raf asked, no hurt in his voice but honest confusion, "Miko told me."

Pan nodded in understanding, 'I honestly didn't think it mattered. My Mom apparently brought the house ages ago and had been juggling the idea for a while and when I told her something she then decided, with Logan and I agreeing, that it was time for us to move on from that house.'

Raf nodded, "Can I work here with you?" he asked sitting down next to her.

Pan gave him a nod, smiling as Raf brought out his own workbook and started his classwork.

Pan and Logan shared surprised looks as they spotted Thalia waiting for them.

"See ya, guys!" Logan waved to Raf, Miko, and Jack(who just exited the building suspiciously. Pan narrowed her eyes at the look on his face.) for both himself and Pan as they ran over to the car.

"See you!" Raf called after them with Miko and Jack giving their own farewells to them.

'What's up?' Pan signed immediately as she and Logan slid into the back seat(the only way to stop them from fighting over the front seat).

"Figured it would be quicker for you two to get home if I picked you up," Thalia smiled at them before focusing on the road as she drove off from the school.

Logan perked up at that, "We're moving today?" he asked curiously.

Thalia hummed her agreement and Logan gave a whoop as he smiled to Pan.

Pan smiled back at Logan, admit a little uncertainty, but quite excited as well for the change.

Life sure was looking up for the three.

Wow, we made it to Chapter Thirty already!?!
