"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, only if one remembers to turn on the light." - Albus Dumbledore.
Pan paused hesitantly; she was torn between going helping the two Autobots fighting the army of undead however she could and staying put until they finished their battle.
Pan decided instantly, swinging her bag off her shoulders and rummaging through it. The Hammer girl grinned as she brought out several objects before swinging her bag back over her shoulders and heading towards the battling bots.
🛠
Pan easily sneaked around the Zombie bots, none of the purple opticed zombies noticing her as she darted between their legs.
However, the two Autobots did notice her, each of their optics growing wide as they feared for the small human's life.
Pan grinned as she placed the last few devices she had on as many zombies as she could before racing away. Pan climbed up a mesa side, before reaching a ledge of a similar high to Optimus.
She panted as she took off her bag, sweat gathering on her back as she took off her jacket as well. Pan then pulled out a small remote from her pocket, her eyes showing the mischievous glee she was feeling.
One button press later and a massive orange smoke filled a small portion of the battlefield.
Pan grinned as she heard a furious roar from the silver bot on another mesa, a good distance away before she pressed another button.
A couple explosions sounded across the planes, a few zombies exploding into metal parts and dark purple goo.
Pan grimaced at the sight before collapsing back onto her back as she breathed heavily, the adrenaline that had been running through her body finally disappearing.
Pan must have passed out for a short while as next thing she knew, she was being poked by Ratchet's digit.
"That was the most stupidest thing you could've done," Ratchet growled at her, when he finally noticed that the girl was awake.
Pan shrugged her shoulders. Grabbing her slightly dusty jacket and bag as she stood up, 'Was worth it,' She held up the note to the mech in front of her.
Ratchet's optics hardened, "How so?"
'You're still here, aren't you?' Pan raised an eyebrow at him, a smirk playing on her lips.
Ratchet stared back at her unamused, "You doubt our fighting skills?"
Pan shook her head, 'No, but, everyone needs help at some point. It looked like you guys needed help.'
Ratchet looked at her, "You couldn't have "helped" away from the fight?" he asked.
Pan grinned, and shook her head.
Ratchet sighed, before offering his uninjured servo for the girl who carefully climbed on. Her bag back on her shoulders she held held onto her jacket.
The Autobot medic carefully held his servo still for the human as he made his over to his old friend.
"Are you alright, Panacea?" Optimus asked the Hammer girl.
'Healthy as a horse,' Pan joked, 'Feel free to call me Pan,' she added.
Optimus nodded, "Thank you for the assistance."
Pan shrugged, 'Happy to help," she smiled before shooting a trumpiant look at Ratchet who frowned at both of them.

"You what!"
Pan winced at Miko's extremely loud shriek, beginning to regret "telling" the girl what happened just a second ago.
'Quieter, please,' Pan wrote, dodging the excited Miko who went to grab her.
"You can not tell me to be quiet!" Miko hissed at her, an excited grin across her face.
Pan's eyes widened as the exchange student tried to grab the Hammer girl's arm now that she was trapped by the barrier. Pan darted to the side, grabbing onto the metal pole barrier and pushing herself up, doing a backflip over the awestruck girl then racing behind Jack and Raf.
"Wow!" Miko gasped.
Raf looked at Pan, "You're awesome," he grinned, his eyes light with awe.
Pan smiled to him, although her muscles were tense incase the hyper girl decided to chase after her again.
"Miko!" Jack snapped, losing his cool, "Stop it."
Miko pouted, poking her tongue out at him before looking back at the bots.
"Zombies? You fought Zombies and I missed it?" Miko complained.
"Bulkhead, you exercised extremely poor judgment in allowing the humans to accompany you," Optimus said. His faceplates showing the disappointment that he felt.
"It won't happen again, Optimus. I promise," Bulkhead said standing up, his voice showing how much he actually wanted to prove himself to the Prime.
"But it wasn't Bulkhead fault," Miko protested, standing up for her guardian
"Miko, please," Bulkhead hissed at his charge.
"And check it out. Recon," Miko said holding up her phone with the picture of the equation. Optimus looked down at the phone and hummed in thought.
"Ratchet, have a look. It could be of importance to Megatron," Optimus said to the medic.
"Megatron's back?" Jack asked the Autobots. Pan scrunched up her nose as she remembered the furious roar of the silver mech at the zombie battle site.
"That's really bad news, right?" Jack asked as Ratchet leaned down to see Miko's phone.
"I don't understand," Ratchet said confused and Miko looked at the photo.
"Whoops, that's the con that tried to blow Raf away. At least that's what he looked like before Bulkhead rearranged his grille," Miko said, a wickard grin on her face.
Raf shivered and moved his body closer to Pan who placed her hand on his shoulder and gave him a comforting squeeze. The boy looked at her gratefully.
"Miko. Raf and Pan were almost killed," Jack snapped at her, "This isn't a game! When are you going to get that through that thick skull?"
"Um, we were all almost killed, Jack. You, me, Raf, Pan, even them!" Miko pointed at the bots, her eyebrow raised as she stared down the boy.
"Well, if this was just an average day with the autobots, I don't want to be a part of it. Not anymore." Jack told everyone. His voice holding his finality in it.
"Jack, putting you in harm's way was never our intent. However it is no longer the safety of you four at risk, but the risk of all humankind. We will respect your decision if you wish to leave," Optimus finished sadly.
The ground bridge was suddenly turned on, "No point in long goodbyes, here's the door," Ratchet said, motioning to the ground bridge.
"Come on Raf, Pan," Jack said to the two. Pan looked down at Raf who looked up at her. A silent question in his eyes.
Raf then looked at Bumblebee who looked away sadly, "I'll be okay Jack," he told the older boy.
Jack looked at Pan expectantly, "Pan?"
Pan caught Ratchet glance at her from the corner of her eyes, an almost unreadable expression across the medic's faceplates. The only thing that gave it away was his optics.
'Stay safe, Jack,' Pan smiled sadly, wrapping her arm around the saddened Raf.
Jack nodded his head, having had figured that she'd say something like that, then headed down to the ground where Arcee stopped him.
After the pair's short exchange, Jack left.
Pan could only hope that things would get better. After all, after such a long time of fails, something good had to come. It had to.
Welp. Here's Chapter Sixteen.
As much as I love keeping the gang together, Miko and Jack will have more spats in the furure(non cannon ones).
