The sky was tainted with blood. Red battled orange, glistening in the windows. In the far distance he could make out a line of mountains, hidden beneath clouds. Whenever the sun went down souls wandered. It was a malovent force, something he already adored as child.

Now, the beginning dawn meant war.
A beginning war, that tore skies apart. Vengeance would soon reign over the city. No one touched his members, his family and lived. No one.

Red eyes or shocked anger.
That was, what he saw as he looked into his members eyes. A shock to the system. A malfunction. That was what had happened. One of their oldest and most trusted allies was dead. His death had already tore one heart, the other heart would follow soon.

“No” the oldest Wang child muttered, glancing at his leader and best friend. He must be wrong. The last connection to their old life had died in a pool of blood. It couldn't be. Daikichi knew that Junhui would react that way. “It cannot be!”

The leader glanced up as the lawyer lead the shaking girl into the apartment. She was shaking from fear. Another thing, he would deal with. Whatever idiot on his payroll had failed would get a storm. Maybe he could gain a few new, loyal people for his business.

Quian Renjun was livid about how they treated Chialing on the police station. He would cause trouble for the station, something, that would give him time. Time, Nakamura Daikichi needed. Oh, he would enjoy seeing them all fall one by one.

Chialing stopped as she saw her brother. Junhui was crying, something, that rarely happened. If he was crying what had happened? It couldn't be because she was taken into custody for seven hours, could it?
“Jun?”

Her voice grew small and soft as her whole body shook. Her legs were paining her, too much fear ignited something deep down her soul. Daikichi could see it in her eyes.

He knew how to read his members.
He knew their past and what they have endured. Hell, he was the one, they trusted.
As a leader it was his job to protect and tell the horrible news. He just feared that she would grew even more silent then.

“Ling” Daikichi started softly. Her eyes snapped to him, fearful of what he would say. “Akito, he passed away.” Her eyes widened the only reaction he could see. Deep down something shattered as she crossed the room wobbly. Her arms wrapped around her boyfriend, she did not shed a tear, just shook rigorously.

She stumbled over to her brother, hugging him tightly. She seemed so much older than twenty years. It broke Daikichi's heart and yet he knew, that another storm had started.
Junhui cried into her shoulder while she just hold him, singing a lullaby in Chinese. A children's song, Daikichi knew.

As her legs gave out Donghyuck was by her side, carrying her to the nearest couch and settling her down. They were probably the most damaged and yet strongest couple the leader has ever seen. As the last ray of sunlight vanished, he saw the dark look in Chialing's eyes.

And in that moment he knew, that he had underestimated the youngest. She was born with the blood of her father and the beauty of her mother. Yes, she might be shy and quiet and insecure, but shouldn't you beware that one's? Couldn't those be the cruelest in the world once something happened?

Daikichi's eyes moved to Harin, the girl smiled sadly at him. She nodded softly upon his unspoken question and both retreated to his room. Chaste kisses, skin against skin as he finally opened his heart in the darkest hour.

The changing tides brought a war, with each passing second it grew stronger. The tides were changing and no one could stop the vengeance, that would soon reign upon the city.
