Rise of Skywalker

I ran in to see Palpatine sucking the force out of Ben and Rey. I couldn't watch. I stood behind the wall. I gripped my lightsaber close. I closed my eyes. I can do this. Im stupid for doing this but im saving what i care the most. I charged at Palpatine, swung my lightsaber, cutting his hand off. I rolled and looked up at him. Palpatine snaps his head at me. Oh Shit.

"Well, look who we have here. The girl he never stopped thinking of." He reaches out. He used the force to come closer to him. I grabbed my throat since I couldn't breath.

"Hera!" Ben yelled.

"Dont touch her!" Rey cried.

"ahhh, the force chose you i see. Weak, yet so powerful. You remind me of young Anakin Skywalker." He lisps.

"When you turned him to the dark side? Ive heard stories about you pal." I choked out. My legs dangle from me being lifted off from the ground.

"You are too weak for the dark side. Love has blinded you." He then looks at Ben, who was so weak. He didn't keep eyes off of me. "Ahh Kylo Ren. This is who you broke down for?"

"Dont hurt her." Ben wasn't happy that Palpatine had me.

"This is who you have compassion for?" He turned to me. "You made him into a fool! Turned him to the light. You're too late, I present to you, Empress Palpatine and Kylo Ren." He presented, thunder bolts came out.

"You'll never get what you want." I growled at him.

"Neither will you. " i frowned at him. He gave me a wicked smile and then I gasped as my lightsaber ignite through my stomach. I frowned as I looked down.

"Hera!!" Rey screamed.

"No!!" Ben cried out. Palpatine turned it off and sent me flying. I fell down the pit, hitting myself on the down and then the ground really hard. I couldn't move as i was in so much pain. I closed my eyes. I slowly got up, even though it hurt like hell. I held my stomach, I gasped. I looked up at the top. I knew I wasn't going to get out.

"Mama?" I slowly turned around.

"Jax." I whispered. He was force sensitive. I got to see my baby boy.

"What's happening?" I just looked at him. "Did we win?" I decided to take one, good, long look. He was so lost. "Are we free?" I started to cry, but I forced myself to smile so I wont let him see me in pain.

"Just look at the stars Jax." He looked up. I slowly dropped to the ground, looking up. "My light." I reached out. "Take care of him." I whispered as my life flashed before me.

Poe's POV

I felt something I didnt have before. Like a piece of has been ripped away from me.

"Take care of him." Echoes through my head. I sat up from my seat. That voice. No.

"Hera." My voice cracks. This time it felt real. She's actually gone. I couldn't breath. Everyone around me was getting shot at, and we're losing people.

"Poe! Why are you there!" Finn screams.

"Hera-" i choked. She promised. What am I going to tell Jax? Hera won't even be able to live the life she wanted with him. "Shes dead." Those words were hard to say.

"Then do this for her." I gripped my handles. For Hera.

Bens POV

I gasped as I saw Hera tossed like a toy. I was angry.

"Look what you have made." Chanting echoed the room. I turned to Rey, knocked out. I have to kill him. He has to die. I slowly got up. Paplatine lifted me up from the ground. "As once I fell...so falls the last Skywalker." He pushes me back, I fell into the same pit Hera fell into. I fell and hit my back, and then the ground. I rolled over in pain. Then I saw her, Hera. She laid still, her arm extending out. I couldn't sense her.

"Hera." I limped my way to her. I kept falling but me getting to her is my top priority now. The close i got, I couldn't feel her. As I got to her, her eyes were closed, she was pale. No. She cant be. "HEL-" i looked around, nobody was there to help. "p." I picked her up, placed her on my lap. I looked at her, i cant believe it. "Come on Hera, dont leave me." Her face was filled with, peace. No, i choose not to believe shes gone. I hugged her.

I had to do what needs to be done. I placed my hand on her stomach. I saw the wound Palpatine gave her. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and began to give her my life force. Anything for her to stay alive. I couldn't stand the thought of her dying. She doesn't deserve it. All she has done, she had tried, for years, to bring me back, at least I can give her another chance at life. I felt a hand on top of mine, she sat up.

"Ben." She whispers. I looked at her as if it was the first time. The black haired, brown eyed, beautiful, talented, shy girl. She placed her hand on my cheek. The warmth of her hands felt like home. She attacked me with a kiss. I relaxed at her touch. She pulls back, i gave her a smile and a laugh. She chuckles with her tears. "I lo-"

"I know." A woman, who I love, and got close, nearly got everything. I took one last look at the love of my life, the one who believed in me, the one who didnt care if I was bad or good. All i hope is for her to find happiness. Even if it meant it wasnt with me. I had a hit of memories, from my mother, to my father, to Chewie and to Hera. My smile faded and I fell back.

Heras POV

I caught Ben as he fell back. I shook him, to wake up. This cant be happening. Not now. This isnt real.

"Ben? Come on, wake up. " i shook him gently. "Come on, please. This isnt funny." My Tears fell on his cheek.

"I have something to tell you, just come back to me. I just got you back. Dont leave me." I cried on his chest. "Dont leave me. Please." I held his hand, and then my head shot up, when i felt at peace. It cant be. It was Leia. It felt like what happened to master Luke when he- She, shes gone. No. "Dont you dare leave me! God damn it!" I placed my head on his chest. "Ben Solo, you are my light, please dont go. I need you." I heard a gasp, I quickly looked at Ben. He opened his eyes. He sat up. I attacked him with another kiss, making him fall back again. "Ben."

"Yeah?" I smiled. We stood up, slowly due to the injuries we had. He held my hands, looking at me. "I love you." I cried. "Ive loved you since the first time you walked in the training room with your father. You looked so beautiful and so innocent. I love you. That day in the garden, when you told me you love me, i meant to say it. And I kicked myself everyday, every month, every year that pasted. But I do. I love you. Im always going to love you too." He wrapped his arms around my waist, placing his head on my shoulder. "Lets go home."
