The next day Taehyung was back in his room, prancing back and forth as he saw how the clock ticked by.

Last night when he returned home, even his parents has trouble identifying him at first. It shocked him at how much of a difference a haircut or the way you dress can change people's perspective over you.

Taehyung sighed as he remembered the sickenly sweet treatment he received wherever he went after his makeover.

He was confused,

Why did people not treat him like this before?

Did having a pretty face change everything?

Was the world really filled with people who only liked seeing pretty faces? What about the presence of good heart? Did no one care for that?

With each passing minute Taehyung was losing the trust he had over his old morals. He was a person who had always considered a good heart important over the pretty face.

That's what his parents always showed him.

But even after the entire makeover, Taehyung still felt something that hadn't changed.

It was the feeling of Jungkook's eyes on him. Somehow the way Jungkook looked at him remained the same, still looking at him as he was the only person in this whole world who was worthy of his attention.

And it fucking made his heart jump dimensions and run over a thousand miles.

Even though he never paid attention to Jungkook much because of how different their worlds were, he couldn't deny that he has always felt those intense pair of raven eyes on him whenever they were in the same room.

At first the intense stares made him giddy, it felt like finally someone paid attention to him.

But then slowly he realised that even if Jungkook liked him, They could never be together.

They came from different worlds which had no way of fitting together because of how overwhelmingly far the distance between them was.

Jungkook was the shining moon that lit up Taehyung's darkness and gave him hope to keep moving.

And it was not an unknown fact that he could never reach the moon.. After all he was just an ordinary human who was given the mercy to live a life.

He could never reach out and caress the moon.. Because the moon already had his own stars to care for and give him support.

So what could an ordinary pathetic human do for him..

Nothing.

Taehyung could do nothing so he knew he should just stay in his lanes and bask in the soft light that the moon gave him until morning came.

And as time passed Taehyung started ignoring the younger and staying away from him because he believed that was good for both of them, especially after Jungkook started sleeping around.

However his will to stay away had melted like butter as soon as he heard Jungkook say that he had started sleeping around for him.

Even though it happened unconsciously, Taehyung somehow felt responsible for making Jungkook give away all his innocence.

He knew the younger very well, so he knew that Jungkook was actually a hopeless romantic.

Maybe..

Maybe if he stood on his tiptoes and tried to reach out, Maybe his moon will come to him.

Suddenly there was a sharp knock on the door making Taehyung look up from his thoughts.

Who could it be?

His parents had already went to work so there was no way they would come here unless they got fired.

Please no.

Taehyung shakily opened the door, praying that it was not his parents.

But as soon as he opened he was met with a surprise, because in front of him stood Jeon Jungkook looking like a handsome day dream.

He widened his eyes in confusion, wondering what the younger was doing here.

"Annyeonghaseyo" Jungkook sang out, waving excitedly at a perplexed looking Taehyung

"What are you doing here?" The blonde haired asked confused

"Well didn't I say I will give you a full makeover?"

"Yeah?" Taehyung answered, wondering where this conversation was going

"If you want to show Jimin and Jennie that you're not a DUFF then you should also change your behaviour." Jungkook said, his eyes widening and hands making weird expressions as he explained

The whole scene was so cute that Taehyung was barely paying attention to the younger's words, instead he was cooing at how adorable Jungkook looked.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jungkook asked suddenly frowning

"Like what?" Taehyung asked, raising an eyebrow

"Like i am some overgrown puppy?" Jungkook said, his bambi eyes widening making him resemble his words perfectly

"Well that's because you're really an overgrown adorable puppy" Taehyung whispered, caressing the ravenette's hair

"Am not!" He argued back "I have muscles and I am very scary"

Jungkook claimed but that only made Taehyung giggled louder at how childish the other was being.

"Yeah yOu'Re VeRy sCaRy" Taehyung mocked making the other pout

"Did you even hear the important advise i was giving you?" Jungkook asked making Taehyung shake his head with a contagious smile

Jungkook rolled his eyes and grabbed Taehyung's slim wrist and pulled him against his chest making the other let out a sound of surprise.

"Listen to me carefully, I won't repeat" Jungkook whispered into the older's ears, his lips softly caressing Taehyung's ear lobes

Taehyung shivered at the tiny contact... Butterflies filling inside his stomach as he bit his lips nervously and nodded his head

"I'll l-listen" Taehyung mumbled quickly, turning his head sideways trying to get away from Jungkook's lips

Jungkook smirked and moved closer, his hot breath tickling the other's skin.

"First of all you're going to stop being kind to everyone, People will only look down on you if you help everyone because that's how our fucked up world works. It just makes them see you as someone easy. Show them that they have to earn your respect if they want any help.

Don't just do all their works blindly just because they order you to do, show the bullies that you're not weak. I know you have studied martial arts so use those sexy moves if anyone tries to raise their hands at you.

Don't ever let anyone treat you like shit because my bear, you're so much more than that. Show them angel, Show them what Kim Taehyung can do"

Jungkook finished and to say that Taehyung was speechless would be an understatement.

No one had ever encouraged him like that.

And somehow, Taehyung already felt changed.
