Dr Charles.
Let him in.

The guards let the patient in, letting him sit down on the chair and leave. 8812 sat in the chair provided, sitting with a rather timid posture.

Dr Charles.
Hello, Tobias, I am your doctor. I want to accomplish helping you to recovery, and that is why you are here.

Patient.
In a rather quiet tone; I know.

Dr Charles.
Okay. So, is there anything you would personally like to talk about before we tackle any issues.

Patient.
Quietly, Nothing I don't think we'll cover.

Dr Charles.
Alright, so I understand you requested a pen and a book. What did you want those for, Toby?

Patient.
I thought we were going to be tackling deeper topics.

Dr Charles.
We are, I just wanted to ease into those topics; so you feel more comfortable with me and this process, as this isn't something you can rush.

The patient nodded in acknowledgment.

Patient.
Oh. I like to keep a diary, so I make sure I don't forget anything.

Dr Charles.
Do you normally forget things, Toby?

Patient.
...N-No.

Dr Charles.
Are you scared of forgetting things, Toby?

Patient.
Yes, you can say that.

Dr Charles.
What are you scared of forgetting, Toby?

Patient.
Who I am. But, at the same time, I want to forget who I am.

Dr Charles.
I understand that, Toby. That is a common fear amongst many people. But why do you wish to forget who you are?

Patient.
So I can restart. Or if I'm dragged back into a life of crime, I don't know what I'm missing in life, I don't know what I could be having.

Dr Charles.
That is an interesting view. What do you think drove you to a life of crime?

Patient.
You wouldn't believe me if I told you.

Dr Charles.
Toby, I am here to help you, I can't help you if you put yourself down like that.

The patient, clearly distressed and angered started to glare at the table, his neck cracking slightly. It was also clear by his voice that he was angered by the subject.

Patient.
Angered, Even if you did believe me, it'd be putting both of us in danger!

After a moment, the patient regained his original posture, and added in a quiet voice, I'm sorry, I know you are just trying to help me.

Dr Charles.
It's quite alright Toby, I know some subjects are more sensitive than others.

Patient.
Thank you, Doctor.
