14 - Day 5

Casually, Toby walked around the streets, looking for an estate agents office, as he ate a burger, holding a carrier bag, full of bits and bobs he'd bought, along with the money. He hummed slightly, looking around.

Toby spotted one, happily crossing a road, smiling slightly.

He wasn't Bruce Wayne rich- far from it- he was more, I just won half of the lottery, rich. And, understandably, he wanted to try and buy a house.

Toby strolled into the building, looking at the offers, his demeanor immediately dropping when he noticed the prices. The one that had caught his eye, was $365,500.

And, Toby only had $5,000. Panic started to rise in him, as he zoned out.

Suddenly, a hand put itself onto Toby's shoulder.

Toby flinched, spinning around, being met with a pair of friendly, dark brown eyes, "Hey, you okay?" He asked.

Toby nodded slightly, but paused, "I-I'm not sure, actually."

The boy's eyes widened, "Your Taylor, right?" He asked. This caught Toby off guard. He nodded slowly. "Me, my friend and my sister watch your channel! We didn't know you were here!"

"Oh, yeah-"

"Why are you here though? I thought the whole point of your trip was to get home?" He asked, confused.

Toby chuckled nervously, "Yeah, uh, about that. I'm actually trying to find a new home. My other one wasn't really a home."

The boys eyes widened, "Oh- Oh god I'm so sorry, I didn't know."

"No no, it's fine." He replied, "To be honest, I didn't know anyone would watch it."

"It was in my recommendations." The boy chuckled, "I'm Caleb!" He said, sticking his hand out.

Toby shook it, "Taylor."

Caleb nodded, his black ringlets bouncing slightly as he did so. "So, uh, you found an apartment that you like?"

Toby nodded slightly, "I can't afford it yet, though." He sighed.

"Oh, well, which one? I mean, you don't have a home, do you?" Caleb rambled.

Toby shook his head, pointing behind him, to the one that'd he'd been looking at.

Caleb's eyes widened, "That's the one we've been looking at too!" He said, "Lemme just talk with my sister and friend, okay?"

Toby nodded sheepishly, watching the boy leave, to talk with the black haired female, and blonde haired male.

After about five minutes, all three walked over, giving Toby a small smile, "Well, since you're an influencer with potential, and, you don't have the best background-" Caleb started, being cut off by the blonde.

"And, you have some of the money that we don't for the house." He added.

Caleb continued, "We've decided to offer you, to be our roommate- in the Villa that had caught your eye."

Toby's eyes widened, as he nodded, "Wait really? Y-Yeah, please. That sounds great!"
