- Chapter 5:

Never in a million years did you expect to be woken by a gush of cold water to your face. You immediately jerked up, feeling irritated at whoever had woken you up already. Instead, you found yourself crashed on a couch in a strange dome shaped house. It took a few seconds of panicking to recollect the events of the past three or so days as you sighed unhappy that it was not in fact a dream. Your planet really had been invaded by Mogaria, and you, the only survivor were on Eridani looking for the legends, people who might not even exist. How had life turned out this way again? 

When you stared up, you found Yoongi staring at you, looking a little disgusted and more bored and dead. "What are you waiting for, go get ready." He seethed as you looked down at the bucket in his hand. It clicked in your brain and you felt your eyebrows raise in irritation. "Was the water throwing necessary?" You asked as he shrugged and pointed behind you. "Bathroom here are the same as Orpheus, go get ready. I left something you could wear in there." He said before curtly turning around and leaving the family area. You were about to ask him what happened last night, but refrained, dusting yourself and walking yourself to the bathroom. You let out a sigh knowing that bathroom all around the galaxy were the same.

After using the spare toothbrush and Yoongi had left, you took a quick shower in cold water to wake yourself up, and wore the same undergarments, tugging on the black jeans and dark gray hoodie he left you. You were an inch shorter than Yoongi, so the cloths weren't that big, but still big on you. You left your former clothes in a pile in the trash can, seeing that they were beyond dirty and sported rips everywhere. Instead, you brushed your long gold hair into a high ponytail and hoped you looked fine. Seeing the way your gold hair stood out and your gray eyes blended in with the outfit, you smiled and left the bathroom, the rush of cold air hitting you hard.

"Yoongi?" You called, unsure of where the Eridanian had left to go. You hoped he didn't leave you alone in the house. Instead, you walked around, frowning when noting that everything was black, gray, or white. It seemed that the man loved those colors. You stopped at pictures of Yoongi and a dog, the man wearing a gummy smile. You didn't know the man was capable of smiling, but you smiled at how cute the small dog was, wondering where it was now. "What are you looking at?" You jumped when Yoongi's gruff voice startled you from behind. You turned to find the man in a plan black full sleeves and black jeans again, hair messily brushed. You tried not to be distracting by how good looking he was as you pointed at the dog. "Where's your pet?" You asked as his eyes momentarily flicked to those of a grieving person. "Dead." He hissed before turning and gesturing for you to follow. You frowned but complied, your bare feet cold on the marble floor. 

"So you never answered why you helped me. And what happened outside with the Eridanians last night." You said, leaning over his table as he faced a cabinet, pulling random objects out. Yoongi only scoffed before replying, "I said I'll tell you soon, not now. For now think of it as that I find it entertaining to watch you and see where this journey goes. I'm curious. As for last night," He turned and leaned over the counter, facing you, nose only so far away. You widened your eyes as the closeness, but said nothing as he smirked, "Nothing much happened. They won't bother you while I'm here." And with that, he turned back the way he was before as he made loud noises with the plates. You frowned at the answers he'd given but said nothing, knowing that this much hospitality was something you should be thankful for. You could ask more later.

"Do you have any idea where I could find this planet's legend?" You asked, looking at your nails as Yoongi shrugged again. "Nothing at all." His answer made you deflate as you fretted. How were you supposed to go through a whole planet trying to find a fictional legend. You covered your face with your hand and let out a groan as Yoongi pushed a plate into your face. Your eyes peeked out from your hands to see a weird meal, different from the ones served on Orpheus. The object was purple, pieces of blue and green toppings on the top. "It's an Eridanian food. Try it." Yoongi said as he bit into his own meal, chewing thoughtfully. You eyes the food a little longer before biting a piece off, sitting up at how the flavor exploded in your mouth. "This is great!" You mewled as you quickly began munching it down. Yoongi chuckled before mirroring you, the two eating in silence. 

"Never thought I'd have to speak in Canclo in my life, cross that out. I never expected to have to speak in reality. I guess it was good they taught Canclo in schools." Yoongi thought out loud, staring at you. You nodded, rubbing your stomach at how filling a small meal like that was. You then stepped back from the table and looked straight on at Yoongi. "Thank you for the hospitality and all, but I have to somehow find the legends. My planet needs me!" You said more to yourself than to Yoongi as you starting walking in a circle, pondering how you'd do it out loud. Yoongi watched you in amusement before walking and holding your wrist, preventing you from moving anymore. "Come out, I'll show you around town and we can see if you find clues. No one will do anything while I'm here." He said and you nodded, letting the man walk you out the dome. You were wondering how the place looked in the daytime. 

For some reason, you weren't surprised when you came out after wearing your golden sneakers, seeing that the place looked exactly the same even in the morning. Clocks seemed to be the only thing telling people the time. You doubted that they even had seasons here. Yoongi noticed your facial expression before he smirked at the sky. "Yeah, it's like this all the time. We all have gotten used to it." He said as you nodded, seeing a few more Eridanians walking around now. They all seemed to be looking at you, angry, scared, and curious expressions on. You huddled closer to Yoongi as he began walking, you following like a baby penguin. Yoongi led you down different pathways, the people staring at you from afar with suspicious expressions. You could only wonder Yoongi told them, or was telling them. The people seemed to be ignoring Yoongi, sparing him a few glances every now and then. You were feeling beyond intimidated on this dead like planet. 

"Let's go inside." He said as you followed him inside the store he stopped in front of, a dome once again. Everything here was a dome, and with the purple haze and identical streets and buildings, you wondered how Yoongi was able to navigate. You followed him in closely, seeing how the metal door closed behind you. When you turned around, the breath had left your chest. The dome was covered in shelves, books of all sizes and colors littering the wood like material. At least all planets has books as well, otherwise you would've screamed. Yoongi watched your expression and rolled his eyes as he pointed to a specific corner, "Go look there. It's where the legend books are. The titles should be in Canclo and so are the books since we don't have a special language." You nodded and walked over, knowing that since this planet was known for owning a legend, the books should be richer in information.

Your medium sized hands ran over the books in wonder as you took the in the smell of the library, smiling at the familiar smell of books. You then hoped your Canclo was still good as you bent down and skimmed through the books, stopping at one particular book and pulling it out with a little force. The title read 'The Seven Legends' and you were glad some people were wise enough to write on these type of topics. You looked around and padded to a couch, sitting on it, completely dismissing the location of Yoongi. Then you snuck your face in the book and began reading, eyes determined and lips in a trembling line. 

"Find anything Ciel?" You jumped for the second time that day at Yoongi's deep voice as you frowned at him. "No I just started reading, and my name is Luciel, not Ciel." You clarified, watching as he shrugged and stood behind you, skimming the book as well. "I'm too lazy to call you Luciel and remember that so Ciel is it." You groaned but returned to the book, flipping pages until you landed on the page that described the legend that belonged to Eridani. You read through it, looking for any clues and stopped when it mentioned the abilities of the legend. "Psychokinesis! Damn that's so cool! Obviously they have telepathy like every Eridanian, It says they could have pyrokinesis but they probably don't since there's already a legend that has fire powers. Oh they also have a little clairvoyance in them. Dang this person is cool!" You talked out loud, Yoongi rolling his eyes. He then got up and looked around, holding a book in his hands. "Let's buy these and read them at my house. I don't like being in public." Yoongi said as he dragged you to the counter, throwing the books in a bin. You gasped as the books popped up through another pipe, ready to go. 

"Yes that's how we pay, don't ask I'm not going to answer." Yoongi said as you scowled. It wasn't your fault you asked too many questions than the usual Orphian. Yoongi led you out, holding your hand and you wondered why he treated you like a child. A few Eridanians stared at you, but nothing major happened and you were happy with that. You were about to ask Yoongi a question and irritate him a loud crash filled your ears and you turned around to see the dome shaped library you were just in exploding, books and bits flying and crashing into other buildings as the whole building collapsed. Your hands covered your mouth in horror as Yoongi pulled you back, staring for any danger. You scowled at the man, knowing that you could perfectly protect yourself.  

"What even was that-" You were cut off when screams, actual voices were heard through the thick gray smoke and purple haze. A silhouette of a figure emerged, blood covering his face and body, a crooked criminal smile splayed on his face as he tilted his head at an abnormal angle, a bloody axe in hand as his eyes locked on you, his grin widening. A sick feeling rooted in your stomach and you eyes laid on the black tattoo carved into the skin above his neck as a sick punch was delivered to your stomach. He was a Mogarian. 

"Y-Yoongi." Your voice broke with emotion as you clutched onto the sleeve of his black shirt, trembling slightly. Yoongi glanced back at you, only his side profile visible as his eyes traveled to your shaking hands intertwined in his clothing. His hand laid on your's as he sent you a small smile, "Don't sweat it." He said as he took your hand in his, pulling you with him as you two began sprinting. Your mind was a blur of thoughts as you looked back, seeing the man sprinting after you, raising his axe at you menacingly. It was confirmed in your mind now. He was after you. The attack on Orpheus was for you. Mogaria was after you.

You held your head with your free hand as Yoongi looked back, making a status check as well. "Do you know why he's after you?" Yoongi squinted his eyes, looking past you at the man. You wondered if he had some eye problems. The Eridanians around you were running, not screaming and probably talking through telepathy. You wondered if anyone was coming to help. All you could focus on was the blood red hair of the man, dark red eyes as he chased you with determination. Yoongi kept turning corners and you wondered how much longer you'd be able to outrun him. "I don't know why, but he's from Mogaria. Mogaria is after me Yoongi! They attacked my planet and now sent this man because of me!" You felt your blood pressure rising as you helplessly ran, wishing you could do something. The books were now tucked in your arms safely. You would rather die then let the books out of your hands at this point.

"Yoongi he's catching up!" You cried, looking back at the man who was gaining feet on you two. You knew that if the man caught up, both you and Yoongi would die. You already had the deaths of Orpheus on you, you couldn't take the death of Yoongi too, a stranger who strangely was helping you. "Yoongi, thank you so much for everything." You whispered as the man gave you a weird stare, realization exploding in his eyes. "Ciel no-" You shook his hand off and pushed him, giving him a boost. Then you took off in the opposite direction, barely missing the head of the axe. 

You kept sprinting, panting as the hard footsteps of the man getting significantly closer and closer. Your mind was ahead of your body as you took a turn, a broken shard of what was once a silver dome ripping into your skin, catching your blood. You let out a shriek of pain as your blood painted the wall and you fell to the ground, your hands trying to cover the gash that leaked blood, stretching across your abdomen. You ripped a piece of your shirt off, tying it around your waist tightly, trying to stop the flow. Another whimper of pain left you and you somehow stood up, the pain blinding your vision. 

"Finally found you babe." A shiver ran up your spine as the man from before came into view, his fingers running across the wall and licking the blood off, a disgusting feeling embedding into your stomach. The man stepped closer as you turned and ran, slower than before due to the pain. You heard the blood curling laugh of the man as he casually walked, cocky over the fact that he'd be able to catch you anyways. "S-STOP!" You screamed, tears raking down your face.

The man only rolled his eyes and caught you, his hands wrapped up in your golden hair as he pulled pack, the long ponytail giving you a huge disadvantage. A moan of pain left your mouth as the man pulled you flush against his chest and held the axe to your neck, his hot breath fanning down your neck. If you lived you promised that you'd learn some type of self defense. "I'll end it quick don't worry babe." He said as you let out a strangled cry, the axe biting into your skin. "Why me?" You groaned as he stiffened and then chuckled. "If you live, so do the seven legends. Now, good night babe." You closed your eyes tightly and waiting for the metal to take you away. 

But it never came.

Instead, the man let out a blood curling scream as you were thrown to the ground, whimpering in pain. You looked back to see the man covered in a purple haze, floating off the ground as the purple bubble became smaller and smaller. The man let out more and more screams as the bubble enclosed on him, a final splat of blood covering the vicinity as the purple bubble dispersed. You looked up in surprise to see Yoongi, casually walking into the scene with a bored face, frowning at the splat of blood on the ground, so sign of a man left. Your eyes widened as it clicked, Yoongi was the legend of Eridani, and he knew it the whole time.

That was why the people ignored him, why he took you in and why he was so nice to you. Why he didn't fret about a man chasing them and more. It was all right in front of you. You held your head as the gash deepened and you moaned out in pain. Yoongi stiffened and looked down to your injury, his eyes darkening as he paced to you ad lifted you up bridal style, eyeing your injury. "Y-You were the legend the whole time." You managed as black dots colored your vision. He merely nodded at you and you felt yourself become angry. You wouldn't have had to go through this if he'd told you earlier. "Why didn't you tell me?" You whimpered as you felt your conscious leaving you. Yoongi stared at you with a concerned expression as he ran faster, you still not knowing where he was going.

"Stay awake." He ordered you as your blood boiled. "Shut up and answer my question dammit!" You screeched, immediately leaning onto his chest for support, taking in heavy breaths as your eyes momentarily closed. "Live, and then I'll tell you." He breathed as you felt your eyes close. "Fuck you Yoongi." You let out, hearing a soft chuckle from the latter as you closed your eyes.
