Roman slim built, with chocolate brown hair cut into a rough bowl cut shape which suits him well. He has these big hazel brown eyes and a few beauty spots across his face. He is always well kept, and always dresses well. He wears expensive tastes in clothing and cares about how he looks.

Personality: Roman is the last of the Selwyns, a dying pureblooded family. He is a clever boy and always has been. Not necessarily academically, but in other things. He's a schemer and a manipulator, and he will always find a way to achieve his goal. He's also quite a private person. No one will ever say they really know him. He can be cruel and unforgiving, and devilishly arrogant.

Whilst some members of the Circle are doing it out of genuine concern for the well-being and longevity of magic, Selwyn's motives are less pure. He would probably be classed as some sort of psychopath, although this does not display itself violently. He knows that his views are probably more extreme than most of the circle members, so he has to be tactical about how he instils them. Slowly, and bit by bit, they will think like him.

He is also obsessed with power. How to obtain it, how to wield it, how to keep it, and how to take it from others. He sees himself as the one able to amend the errors of those in the past, who lost to power. Perhaps there is some good in him, perhaps not. But it could take going to hell and back to find it.

Strengths: manipulation, history of magic, reading people, controlling, flirting and sexual activities, he is very hard to emotionally batter as there's very little that upsets him. Dark magic, obviously

Weaknesses: emotional capacity. He doesn't exactly feel much, and if he does it's very repressed, physical (non-magic combat), kindness, friendships

Background: Roman is the last of his bloodline, and determined to make a mark. He was largely raised by his Great Aunt after his parents were sent to Azkaban for crimes against humanity in the second wizarding world war. His Great Aunt was a strict and traditional woman, and did not allow her nephew to lament about his parents absence. Instead she nurtured a stiff upper-lip, years of emotional repression and a definitive distaste for his parents and their failures in the boy. She was not evil, but loving was not a word one would describe her with. He was a solitary boy and an only child, and spent most of his early years until Hogwarts alone in their grand house in Normandy, and would often visit the Selwyn manor across the pond. He didn't mind being alone - he would read or explore areas of dark magic, and these years are most probably the cause for his misanthropic tendencies. People are not things to create emotional attachments to, they are tools to be used, and the strongest must take advantage of them.

Personality: Eamon is playful but original, with a quick wit and an eye for fun and games. He is not the popular heart-throbs like James and Fred, as he can be a bit more hot-blooded and confrontational than them. He is a good guy, but has a habit of running his mouth and is loyal to the last. Eamon is an intuitive person, for whom the mantra "think before you act" has always been a challenge. He likes to live life in the moment, thinking and feeling there and then, rather than agonising over the past and future. He has a cheeky youthful spirit, and a slightly clumsy laddish energy and movements

Eamon's popularity is dubious, and he can be a bit polarising. He has the makings of the school's charm boys like Fred, Louis and James, but is just a bit too turbulent. He has quite a rude sense of humour for one, and a rather quick temper. He gets offended easily and often mistakes a joke for a provocation to fight. He is largely extroverted, and when he is spending time alone he likes to be doing something. For example, some of his favourite hobbies include fishing and gardening. He is a very tactile person, and likes things that are quite "hands on" hence his favourite class is herbology. He is also interested in culture finds reading a bit of a struggle so prefers visual or audio aids such as paintings or lectures rather than books because they are generally more engaging. He has always been a bit difficult in class, and his ADHD meant he often caused trouble. He has learned how to control it now, and it is partly responsible for his "quieter" side that likes the odd solitude and the focus of gardening, activities he finds calms his nerves. He has this raw energy to him that he struggles to master. He is also very protective and puts others above himself without even realising it. Although he can sometimes behave like a true eejit and cause more trouble than he's worth, he does want to be good and he is very supportive of those he believes in.

Backstory: Eamon was born to wizard Seamus Finnigan and muggle landscape designer Máire Mahon in Sligo on the West Coast of Ireland. He was definitely the trouble child and was known for his tantrums and tricky behaviour. When he was seven, the family moved back to North Dublin for work, where Seamus worked in a pyrotechnics department, whislt Máire struggled at home with three challenging children and her job as a gardener. When he was fifteen, his parents relationship became strained and they got divorced. He was old enough to cope with the split, and new that it was coming. His Dad claimed it was because things werent working, and Máire never attended to his needs the way "someone else did". Seamus has never conceded who this "someone else is or was", and has been quite distant from Eamon. Eamon suspects it might just have something to do with Godfather Dean, who always seems to make Seamus just a little bit brighter. He doesn't dare ask, because they are not the closest and he knows the shame his Dad would feel about saying it out-loud, even though Eamon wouldn't mind.

When Enda was born, a new side of Eamon surfaced. Máire was a single mother, and although Seamus helped Enda was not his son so things were always a little stilted. She had to give up her love for landscape design and did odd and lowly jobs gardening, which Eamon could see made her sad. Eamon had always been a bit of a rough boy, with a reputation around the rougher parts of town, but he acted like an older brother and a paternal figure to little Enda who is currently eight.
