8. Is it too much?

Jimin

I look for Jungkook but he isn't in the living room. "Where are you cute stuff? I have a surprise for you." I mumble to myself, eyes looking around, stomach tightening with giddy excitement when Hoseok taps my shoulder from behind.

"Looking for Kookie?"

I nod by turning around.

"He is at work," he tells me.

I smile at Hoseok nervously. "But it's his day off." After three months of dating, I now know his schedule.

"This time is the crucial time. The foodies have an international cuisine day. They participate in many workshops arranged by the national food association."

"Like competitions?"

"Something like that. A few have big prizes too," Hoseok begins to file towards the shelf and I follow behind. "This." He gives me a magazine and I see much younger Jungkook grinning ear to ear with his chef hat on his head, a baked cake in his hands, being surrounded by many people.

"He was renowned with 'budding baker of the city' title." Hoseok flaunts proudly.

I find a commoditized smile on my face. I am proud of this little precious bean. But why is he still working in a cafe? He should have a place of his own.

"You are free to hang around and wait. I am going shopping with Yoongi and Taehyung. Although... I should warn you. He's going to be late."

As Hoseok leaves, I sit down.

"Is it too fast? Should I even have accepted the key to the house from Hoseok?" I feel as if my feet are bit constantly by ants. Jungkook has been the best thing that has happened to me in years. I feel protective towards him and I don't want to mess up a single thing about our relationship.

He is a bit shy and we haven't gotten past the dating phase yet. I am yet to tell him how much I like him. I am crazy about him. I wake up early on weekends just so I can take him out to all those brunch places he loves.

If happiness was sold in small bags, I'd buy them all and give it to Jungkook just that he could just show me his smile. His smile makes my day better. I sometimes take a taxi from work to the cafe just so I can see Jungkook and grab a coffee, even though I am not a coffee drinker.

My phone rings and I see Hoseok's name. I presume he has left something in the house so I take the call by lurking up the balcony.

"You dog!" He yells from the compound ground and comically giggles while I just roll my eyes.

I can see Taehyung's car parked down and Yoongi on the co-passenger seat.

"Just go! If you say anything to Jungkook, I will cut Taehyung's dick off!" I yell and the security guard shoves his judgemental stare our way.

I see Hoseok showing me his middle finger before getting in the car.

"Is it really too soon?" I see myself panicking. Jungkook can get overwhelmed with small things. I don't know how will he react to this.

I find myself nervously strolling towards the bar and I help myself to a scotch. Drinking on a Sunday afternoon without your boyfriend seems like a depressive thing to do, but I need to calm my nerves.

I don't know know how much time I've spent sulking here drinking. The three return from shopping and pick me up from the Kitchen island to put me down on the couch of the living room.

"You guys are early. What did you buy?" I ask them and I don't know if I am slurring my words. I think I am. They are also laughing at me... So.

"How much did you have to drink?" Taehyung snatches the bottle from my lips.

"Just this one. Don't go looking in your trashcan." I giggle.

Taehyung smirks at my face. "Babyboy, your words are swaying."

"Fuck you!" I push him back while Yoongi brings beer for himself and Hoseok.

"I am pretty beat," Yoongi sighs as he plops down beside me. "We have to talk to Jungkook, though. His boyfriend is uncontrollable."

I glare at Yoongi. "You will say no such thing to my bunny."

"Your bunny? We have been taking care of that bunny since he was a tyke." Hoseok chides in.

I look at Taehyung who pecks my lips and backs away.

"Yah!" I throw with all might at him, a tissue paper, which only falls at my legs.

"Calm down there, dynamite," Hoseok sits on Yoongi's lap and I feel my blood rushing to my head and everything in my sight spins. I want my Jungkook right now.

"When will Jungkook come back?" I ask.

"I don't think Jungkook should see you like this," Yoongi tells me sincerely.

"Why?"

"Did you guys do it yet?" Hoseok asks.

"I am taking things s-slow." I try to criss-cross my legs whilst spasms burst through my chest and my body sways as I fall on the couch, flat.

Tilting his head a little to the left, Yoongi stares at me comically.

"Stop looking at me like that," I warn him.

"He fucking finished half the bar!" Taehyung's voice comes from somewhere.

I grin innocently. Hoseok and Yoongi help me get up and they walk me to their room. I fall on the bed and I hear them talk. I try to keep my eyes open and focus on what they are saying. "Don't tell him. He is anyway going to come late and he has to go to court tomorrow." I hear with all my ability, but it's difficult to keep up with it as all I see is black and voices stop coming to my ears after this.

When I wake up, I scurry out of the room and I cannot tell what time is it. I see the three sitting on the floor beside the couch.

"Look who's up."

I catch sight of my face. Damn! I look...very pink.

"Did Jungkook come back yet?" I ask, listening to their warbling.

"He did. We didn't want him to see you yet." Taehyung replies, going back to playing Uno.

"Where is he?" I ask.

"In his room," Hosoek tells me as I sit on the couch.

"Can you give me a moment alone with him?" I quicken.

"Why?" Yoongi asks.

I get up and scamper towards Jungkook's room. "So that I can fuck him."

The next moment, my feet are off the floor. My mouth is covered by one hand, my arms are looped around to pair of strong arms. Am I being kidnapped? Or just murdered?
