Trigger Warning: Very brief mention of suicide.

"You want me to do what?!"
"Cockblock, he wasn't asking you. He was asking me."
"I was asking both of you..."
The blonde laughed obnoxiously. He stuck a tongue out at his exhausted fellow classmate, causing him to roll his eyes and give in to exhaustion and defeat. Life was tiring and the boy was not about to waste his lifeline on a weirdo who can't shut his trap, especially if he still had four hours of school left to go. Nope, not in a million years.
"See, Shota! I told you that he was talking to me!"
Shota sighed, his answer muffled by the tuna sandwich he'd randomly died in. "He was talking to us both, you dumbass."
"Hey-"
"Guys, please stop f-fighting! This wasn't what we were meant to be talking a-about anyways!"
The two boys turned to look at their friend. His pale sapphire eyes contrasted with his smooth dark skin and his hair was styled in a butch-cut. He was quite cute ( As seen by the small fan-base he held at school, though that was mostly because of the fact he was a precious bean who needed to be protected ), and looked like the typical school social butterfly if it wasn't for the permanent shy look he had plastered on his face.
"Ah. Sorry, Andy. I'm just surprised! Anyways," Hizashi leaned in forwards to whisper something else into his ear, a mischievous grin lit up on his face like a candle. "But who would've thought you liked the Gabrielle Aligwekwe! Empress of Inventors!"
Shota nodded slightly in agreement, "You certainly do have the shittiest taste in girls, but I can see you guys settling down with each other. Perhaps having a daughter, and a cat--"
The boys face flushed furiously as he tried to lean backwards from them, and ended up throwing his danish pastry at their faces, missing by a mile ( Press F to pay respect for the cannon fodder who was pastry-planted ). "P-Please stop planning my life ahead! I'm n-not even dating her!"
"Dating who, may I ask?"
The voice was smooth and all too familiar to the males in the area, and a shiver tingled up their spines. Whenever she came, you knew you were practically screwed. The boys turned towards the navy haired girl before a mutual sense of fear passed by their eyes, not going unnoticed. She smirked.
"N-N-Nothing if importance, Nemuri! You d-don't need to worry about i-it!"
"Y-YEAH, I-IT'S NOT L-LIKE ANDY LIKES A-ANYONE OR ANYTHING!"
The whole cafeteria turned to watch the scene with prying eyes. Someone sighed and muttered a small 'Fake News,' before resuming with their lunch. People soon began to follow them and resume with devouring the food on the tables. Nemuri tutted.
"Anyways, I just came to say that my friend -you know Ryuko Tsuchikawa, right?- is totally crushing on you, Andrew! And from what I can tell you're single, right? Why don't you guys try dating?"
The young boy paled. "Y-Yeah, umm... sorry. I don't think I'll be able to date someone I don't even know."
"Aww, come on! Kinda short, looks like the girl with the huge bust from Naruto?"
Hizashi snapped his fingers and looked up with a bright grin. "Oh! I know her, she asked me for help with English once. I was tired, so I said no, but she seemed nice enough!"
They all deadpanned. "Sounds like she's trying to make a move on you to me, Hizashi." The black haired - hobo like - boy stated, "You should've taken it whilst you had the chance. You'll never get a girlfriend now."
"Aww come on! DON'T LOSE FAITH IN ME THAT QUICKLY!!!"
"H-Hizashi, I think S-Shota's right on this one... Not t-that I mean that in a bad way, o-of course!"
"Andy, how could you?!"
"I-"
"Guys! I don't care about your problems, can you just do me a favour and at least think about rejecting or accepting her? Leaving her hanging like this could affect her health, considering how unhealthy her pointless crush is."
Andy tried to hide the slightly offended look he displayed.
She tucked a short strand of spiky hair behind her ear and walked away, only stopping for a millisecond to finish her sentence.
"And I think you should wait for the right person if you want, Hizashi."
She winked, a small blush on her face and a seductive grin lit up her features.
"If you're too impatient, I'm up for Friday night at my house! Ta-ta, my boys!"

"Well?! What did he say?"
Nemuri shrugged guiltily. "He's not interested, Ryuko. Sorry boo."
Ryuko's hopeful grin fell off her face, replaced with one of absolute despair and rejection. H-He didn't like her? But she'd tried so hard to be nice with him, or indirectly helping him out in any tough situations! She'd even taken the long route to Maths, just because she wanted to brush shoulders with him and apologise. All she wanted was for him to look at her with loving, adoring eyes. Those bright blue eyes...
"W-Why? Is there any reason for h-him not to?"
"They did mention that he had a crush on Gabrielle, stupid boys thought I didn't have ears. It's actually quite a turn on-"
"Andy has a crush on that weird Support Department girl? But what has she ever done for him?! This isn't fair whatsoever! I was there first!"
Nemuri shrugged again and slumped into the seat opposite the fuming blonde, a nonchalant expression on her face as she sucked her milk carton dry. She let out a satisfied grumble and sighed. "Well, there is plenty of fish out in the sea for ya, why don't you try someone more on your level for once?"
"No!" she hissed, a desperate look in her eyes. "Because this time, I won't let him get away with this so easily!"
"Welp, don't come to me bawling your eyes out from rejection then. I'll be very busy."

It was a peaceful day in the grounds of UA. The cherry blossoms bloomed and shook in the gentle breeze, causing the occasional cotton-candy petal to fall down from the sky. The light of the sun reflected off the glass, and rainbow-like rays shone down on the students below. The birds were chirping, and everyone ( Except Aizawa ) was enjoying the Thursday spring weather.
Somewhere in the middle of it all, Andy was sitting on a bench quietly scanning his worn Literature book. A tranquil sparkle glittered in his wide hues, and a small smile showed off the slight gap in his front-row teeth.
"What're you reading, Andy?"
The sudden voice made his figure jump slightly in surprise, and he turned to look at the girl who'd suddenly sat next to him. She giggled slightly and flicked her luscious platinum hair behind her, almost in a practised way that made it too perfect.
"A-Ah, It's 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. Aizawa r-recommended it to me after I told him I liked the c-classics."
Ryuko leaned in towards him and batted her eyelashes flirtily, this was her chance! "Perhaps you can read it out loud to me? Doesn't that sound nice?"
"U-Uh, I'd rather not-"
"Aww come on! Don't be a spoilsport, honey!"
"W-Why are you calling me that? I don't even like you t-that way!" He pushed her face away and scooted to the furthest corner of the bench, frightened out of his wits.
Her face fell and she clicked her tongue. "Are you sure? I heard you liked Gabrielle, how can you like a bitch like that?! She's so rude and nasty!"
Andy's face hardened, he firmly pressed his chapped lips together in displeasure. "Sure, Gabrielle might not act the nicest, but she obviously cares about her peers and those around her! Why do you think she stopped Ryo from jumping from the roof?"
"W-Well, anyone would've--"
He rose from his seat and turned to look at her with blazing eyes. Completely different from the former gentle look the girl had gotten used to. Ryuko trembled in fear at the sight, and instinctively backed away. A slightly pained look crossed over the boy's face before resuming its angry facade.
"No, they wouldn't have. You out of all people should know."
"I-" she paused before stifling a sob and hastily running away. He was right, she had no reason to call herself a hero if she couldn't accept someone's happiness over her own, especially if it hurt them. She had a long way to go, and she would reach there some day. She vowed to. So she could prove Andy wrong in the future.
But at this moment, he was right. That was what hurt her the most.

Somewhere in a tree nearby, was a lone figure. She was lying hazardously over a thick branch, and her hand was running through her dark frizzy hair. She smiled coyly in amusement and jumped down from the branch, stumbling slightly at the sudden drop.
"That was a very interesting conversation you were having with barbie, Andy - was it Andy? I don't really care haha - and it seems like your pretty hung up over me huh?"
The boy turned a crimson shade and curled up into a little ball, a muffled "You heard that huh?" reached her perked ears.
"Of course I did, I was in the tree right above you, silly!"
He smiled. Of course she was, his crush was everywhere. Heard everything. Saw everything.
"And, sorry to say, I'm gonna have to be honest. I don't like you in that way, we barely even talk for Christs sake!"
He frowned slightly, "Okay then. Sorry for making you feel awkward if you do-"
"But I am interested, maybe if you woo me enough, I'll consider it."
She wasn't lying. She had, in fact, heard of the famous general Studies student. Famous for his charmingly awkward personality and intelligence. He was famed for being the first transfer student from the hero school in the Carribean- Ewoyik High. She was originally from Jamaica herself ( despite being born in China ), so she immediately felt some sort of connection to the man who she'd never even met. Now, after seeing him defend herself so passionately, she couldn't deny her growing attraction towards him. She'd have to see if it was worth it first though, so he was going to have to really earn it.
She winked. "So you better try harder in the long run, future husband."
