"Raven. I now things between us haven't been too good lately -- Ugh, no that sounds too stupid."
Damian stood in front of the bathroom mirror, rehearsing what he was going to say to Raven. He needed to apologize. He needed her back in his life again. Even as a friend, it didn't matter to Damian. What he wanted was Raven's trust, possibly even love, again.
"Raven. I think I still love you.." He groaned in frustration. "Why am I such a fuck up?"
"You're not a screw up, Damian." Jon walked in and said. "Colin and I have been looking for you everywhere."
Damian turned to face him in shock, as he was thinking he was alone. "Yes, I am. I drove her away. She hates me." He turned back to the mirror. He studied his own face and the dry tear streaks that marked his cheeks. Why he let a girl get to him, he didn't know. But he loved her nonetheless. He wanted her back.
"She doesn't." Jon shrugged as he placed a hand on Damian's shoulder. "Your old friend, Garfield, is throwing a party tonight. He invited all the juniors and seniors. His uncle's, like, hella rich and it's going to be huge. You should come to get your mind off Raven."
"You know I don't go to stupid high school parties."
"I know. But would you rather be alone, moping around because of her?"
"I suppose not."
"Good. You and I are going together." Jon smiled, "But you drive. I can't on my own."

"This party's gonna be killer, Rae! You can't just not come!" He explained, "My uncle's outta town! School life is so dull lately, we need a party to liven things up!"
"I think I'll pass, Garfield."
"Not an option! You'll be completely rid of Damian by one in the morning."
"You know I don't go to parties."
"You've never been to my parties! They're insane. A definite no miss. Especially with your situation."
"I'll think ab--"
"Awesome! I'll pick you up!" Garfield smiled at her.
Of course, he had the best interest at heart. He wanted to cheer her up to the best of his ability. Garfield Logan was the type of person to try to make his friends better no matter what. He was always willing to go out of his way to do so. As long as his friends were happy, he was too.

Raven got into Garfield's car. She knew it wasn't exactly a choice for her, that Garfield wouldn't have allowed for her to not go. She knew he was just trying to cheer her up, and she didn't mind it at all. In fact, she felt relief that someone cared for her to this extent.
Garfield put on Raven's favorite station. He looked at Raven's huffed expression. "It'll be fun, trust me."
Raven nodded in return. They soon reached his uncle's mansion, which already had a queue of teenagers out of on the front lawn. Garfield got out of the car, then went to open the door for them. She forced herself out of his car, then went inside his house.
Already bursting with loud music, more and more people arriving by the second, Raven didn't seem to find a place in it. She decided, knowing she'd be uncomfortable and out of place the whole night otherwise, to take a red Solo cup and down the booze inside. She took another, and another, and continued until the drunkenness affect began.
She still stood off to the side, though, not talking to anyone. She didn't like interaction. And, besides, nobody would want to talk to her in the first place. She had a reputation at her school. Who'd want to associate themselves with Raven, of all people?
That was, until, spotted a familiar, and equally as drunk, person.
Damian smiled, making her way to her. The seventeen year old finished the rest of his beer, then bit his lip at the sight of Raven.
"Looking pretty sexy there, Rae." He slurred. He chewed in his lip, the lack of inhibition caused all his actions. If sober, he never would've found the audacity, nor the courage, to say that to her. But the effect of alcohol obviously got to his mind.
"Been better." She replied in his same tone. She didn't even acknowledge the fact that she was angry at him. That's how drunk she was.
He smirked in response, "Feel like showing me how much better?"
Elsewhere, Garfield took turn to deejay for a bit. He laughed, drank, and overall had fun playing his favorite songs. Once he finished up his turn, he wiped the sweat off his forehead, searching around for Raven. He caught glance of her walking up the stairs, leading Damian upstairs; where the bedrooms were located.
Garfield sighed. He knew that wasn't going to lead to any solutions to their problem. But what could he do but wait until they were finished?

The clock soon hit one AM, the smell of sex lingered in the air a bit longer. The pair lay on the bed and caught their breaths. Raven didn't take time to evaluate what had just happened after doing so, instead falling asleep without a word.
Damian, on the other hand, thought about what happened just now. He decided to enjoy it while he could before receiving the cold shoulder from her again.
And so, with that decision, he spooned Raven until he heard her soft snores, unknowing to what this encounter was going to result in.

Honestly rushed but it's an update so..
Also, has anyone caught onto the pattern that I pause on posting shots when I'm switching my focus onto this instead? Because if I'm not posting shots, then this is most likely gonna be updating soon.
