"First, we need to go to the park." Damian pulled her hand through the city, "The gazebo. Where we-"

"Had our first kiss. I know, Damian, I know." Raven laughed as she was dragged around Gotham by the excited boy.

They had yet to share a kiss that same day, though. Raven felt that moment would come when it was supposed to arrive. He respected this. But he was still very anxious to feel her lips on his again. It'd been way too long since the last time."

"It's so cute that you remember, beautiful." Damian looked back to see her. He glanced at her, his eyes moving up and down quickly before smiling at what was before him. "That was a happy day for me."

"Oh, is that so?" Raven smirked, "Why might that be?"

"It was the day that I finally had stolen the woman that I love's heart." Damian paused as he reached the entrance to the park, turning to face her. "And the day she had stolen mine."

*   *   *

The rest of Damian and Raven's day together had consisted of laughter, hugs, recreating old dates, running around the city with each other, and memories.

The thought that of this day being only a temporary fix between the two never crossed their minds. They basked in each other's presence and had overall enjoyed the day they spent together. Neither of them had of the slightest bit of doubt that they would be restarting their relationship.

Once again, he hadn't stolen a kiss from her just yet. He wanted to wait for the exact time. The moment that would just call out to him "just kiss her already!".

Yet being the keyword.

He knew it'd be today. They both knew, in the back of their heads, that they would have their first kiss for the first time in months this particular day.

Currently sitting on the roof of the manor, Raven was looking out onto the city and the lights that shown after the sun would set. Damian, on the other hand, was ignoring the view Raven was looking out onto for another view.

Her.

"Isn't it pretty?" She whispered quietly. Raven wasn't much to comment on anything or anyone's beauty, but when she did, it was always in a soft, whispering voice.

But Damian wasn't looking at the city. At this specific point in time, he couldn't care less about the city. The only things in the world, at the moment, were him and her. Nothing else.

He studied her face and the way the lights shined against her pale skin. Her hair and it's dark shade, deceiving the eye to look black, when in reality it was a dark blue. He glanced at her eyes momentarily. He loved those. He always had.

And that was when he heard the calling.

He was hesitant at first, but his experience before with Mar'i and his previous relationship with Raven made him ease into the notion once he was already in set.

Damian placed his right hand against Raven's cheek and slowly leaned in to her. He closed his eyes as he did and gently pulled Raven closer to her.

Slowly but surely, Raven fell against him. She caught onto what he was trying to do, but didn't help him too much. Only work with him when he would touch her or move her.

After what had seemed like an eternity, their eyes met and their noses had already been touching tips, the two of them hesitant to meet their lips.

"You sure you want this?" Raven whispered softly.

"More than anything in the world."

Finally, as the stars gazed above them and the city noises seemingly calmed down, the clouds moved away from the moon and allowed more light to shine upon them, both Damian and Raven only had one thing on their minds.

Each other.

Then, after a period of deprivation..

Their lips met.
