   "What.. The fuck."

Raven looked down at the both of them, herself only in the bare essentials. Him wearing boxer shorts, but nothing more. She smelled the air. The scent of sex and alcohol flooded her senses, to the point where making her close her eyes in shock of the sudden dizziness that was caused by the sensation was her only release.

Damian was sound asleep, peaceful. She had to admit, she missed seeing him that way. His chest rising and falling with every deep breath. Eyes shut, fluttering with the actions of his dreams. Calm and almost even smiling in his sleep. It was the most at peace Raven would ever see him.

Raven quickly turned away from him. She tried to push her thoughts back, like she'd been doing always. But that rarely worked anyways. Of course, at the time it'd have been somewhat successful. But eventually, her thoughts would come back, bursting and uncontrollable.

With a groan, she gave into temptation and softly kissed Damian's cheek, but quickly pulled back from him before he could feel it on his skin and realize she had kissed him. Didn't work, though. Soon enough, he was stretching his arms out and letting out a yawn. Raven being too nervous to react, she simply sat there and watched him realize the setting, scent of alcoholic drinks, and their lack of usual clothing. Not to mention, they woke up in a bed together.

"Did we..?" He asked, trailing off in confusion. His memory about the previous engagement blurred and distorted by alcohol.

But Raven simply nodded with a shrug, looking down, "Guess we did."

"Wow." Was all that could be heard from Damian. After a few awkward minutes of silence, he then looked at Raven and sighed, "Rave? We're never getting back together again, are we?" He mumbled sadly.

"I wish we were together, Damian. I really, really do." She looked away from him, "I haven't been happy since we broke up."

"I should've never done that.. I wish I never lied to you. Or that I never got with Mar'i. And there was somehow still a way that you still loved me." He mumbled the last part out, hoping Raven didn't catch it.

Raven did hear it, though. But she ignored it for the time being. "I wish the same, Damian. You have no idea."

He sighed again, then turned to face her. He placed his hands against her cheeks and made her look at him, "You're gorgeous, Raven. You know that's never going to change by me, right? I'm not one of those guys." He said with a shrug, "Even if you're no longer mine, you are really the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

Raven blushed. She gave a small smile at him, then hugged him tightly, "Haven't lost your charm, Damian Wayne." She mumbled.

"I know I haven't, beautiful." He returned her hug, resting his chin against her shoulder and sighing, "Thank you, Raven."

   "For what?"

"Well, for starters, helping me at that concert. You didn't have to do that. Being patient. Chasing after me, despite the way I constantly pushed you off." Damian sighed, "I'm sorry, beloved. I am a fool. I love you more than anything."

"So am I, Damian." Raven rubbed his back. "Can we just.. forget everything? So it can be like how it was before I left?"

"Yeah." He smiled, "I'd love that."
