Hey, do you remember how my life couldn't get worse ever since the whole 'deal-with-the-dream-demon' thing?

Whelp, I change my mind.

Standing before me was a reflection of a seventeen or eighteen-year-old woman—a woman that I don't recognize.

Long brown light wavy hair with blue fluorite eyes. Nothing particular besides being in a luxurious room while wearing a nightgown.

My eyes continue to wander as I stop to notice something shiny in my left hand.

Married huh?

I sigh before I jump surprise when the door knocks softly from behind.

Luckily, they didn't expect anything as if my voice wasn't different than any other. Then again, one of Mabel's friends has a deep voice, so...

"Your Highness, the king wants to see you at the dining table."

After she bowed, the head maid—what I believe—called one of the maids before a familiar face came forward as the rest left the room.

"Candy! I'm so glad to see you."

Candy smiles in relief as she and I try to figure it out.

So far we got nothing.

Our minds went blank from the moment that our memories don't recall other than our painful headaches.

Before we knew it, we were already in the hallway—admiring the color themes that translated from aurora red to aurora blue along with a bit of gold.

Honestly, I did not want to be here.

Especially the fact that I'm a princess.

"Candy, I got to ask, but does it sound weird on how I'm the princess?"

"Nope"

"..."

Narrator

Each step takes a different direction.

A direction that lends them a discovery.

Or in this case...

"We're lost, aren't we?", the young man asked.

The person who is company with him sniffs off.

Never once did the woman think that this could happen and ended up with him out of all the people.

Then again, this is Gravity Falls after all...

"Whelp, look like we ain't going nowhere"

"No shit"

The man was baffled. Surely this girl would've corporate since they end up in the world of wonders.

~Flashback~

"From the makers of Big Gunz Laser Tag comes a new journey that is beyond a new come out..."

Lights flash before their screen, " VRZ 2045, where anyone can be anything"

The screen dies down as people cheer in excitement.

Lines were filled into three categories.

Romance, Mystery, and...

"ADVENTURE!"

The group laughs a little after the outburst.

Earlier, their dear friends, Soos and his wife, had offered a free deal for both Mabel and Dipper (along with their choice of companion(s)).

Both twins were ecstatic with this news.

With that, it comes to this.

"I can't wait to get my hands on these"

"It's too bad that Grenda going to miss this"

Candy assumed her brunette friend with a reason and should respect it.

After all, she's engaged.

Meanwhile, the other twin was intrigued by how this new technology was made. His boyfriend laughed as his older friend laughed as well.

So far, everything seen prefect.

~Flashback ended~

"It still hasn't explained how we got here"

The girl was frustrated at this point after hearing the man's comment.

They still have no lend.

Bill and Mabel tried their recall some details from their memories, but in no value.

In hopes of getting a better picture of this situation, they continue on the journey. However, the biggest mystery is how they will they able to find Dipper and Candy in this whole new world.

Though Mabel doesn't mind, yet not the same for Bill.

Dipper

Meeting up to see my 'husband' was a big turn-off.

I mean, what the hell is this?

I was at the dining table when I looked across at the husband along with a pink-haired woman in some light blue dress.

Turns out, that woman so happens to be my 'sister'.

How ironic...

"Sister, I'm so glad that you're okay. We were worried about you~"

She grabbed my hand on the side as she looked at him, "Hey, you should at least be considerate. This is your wife"

The man looked at me in disappointment.

What's his deal?

"Don't be like that. I'm sure that this is a misunderstanding and that sister was just tried, that's all"

"How can it be a misunderstanding if she threatened you before fainting herself more than two times? I'm pretty sure that this was your plan, right dear?"

Okay, now this sounds ridiculous and a bit more like a 'you problem'. I mean, look how close he is to my 'sister'.

"Still, it's not fair that you don't have time with her, yet you have time for others"

"That's because I'm the king", he answers, which she doesn't believe.

Sigh can be heard from the 'king' as he waves his hand to call the butler, and inform him about the event that was held.

Mabel

This is quite amazing.

I can't believe that I'm able to see these new wonders.

However, my enjoyment didn't last long as I was reminded by him.

Why out of all the people that it have to be him? Can it be Dipper or Candy at least?

Well, nothing was going my way to this point.

Complaining as I question everything about this place, is there a faster way to find them, or—

"Look, I understand and I'm frustrated too. But can you at least try to cope with it a bit longer?"

I rolled my eyes when he gave me a fake smile. Who does he think he is cuz he ain't fooling me?

"Mabel, he doesn't seem the type of person to harm, Dipper."

Sigh hopelessly to my naive friend and explained to her once more, to which she responded, "Maybe you should give him a chance."

Silent is what I gave her.

Walking away from her call as I was offered a soda by the server who works there.

Drinking some of it made me feel better before I once more felt a little remorse from the glance that I was given by Candy.

"Ah shit"

I snap back from reality as waters begin to pour from the sky. Run as fast as we could, we were able to find a cave.

We were lucky enough to avoid it as it started to pour even harder.

Great, just great.

Dipper

Damn, it's raining.

Servants continued to do their duties as the storm became louder than it was before.

I still haven't got any close idea from this other than small details: marriage, sister, and me being queen.

"Your Highness, would you like me to bring some tea to warm you up? It's nice weather to relax before the event starts"

Well, it's true how the weather is quite nice feeling to feel relaxed.

With that, I agree as the maid left before Candy came over.

Asking for new information, she was able to inform me about the tale on how it came to be.

"Apparently, before your 'husband', there was once a king; a kind who had everything across the land before the madness started when he heard of the rumor of man with nothing but knowledge."

She continued as the king was getting worse, which caused the kingdom's corruption.

"Furthermore, I heard that the princess was one of the main reasons who caused the king's madness."

Wait...why does it sound familiar?

"Hey, Candy, did you get the princess's name?"

Candy responded with a yes as she told me the princess's full name.

My name...Princess Margaret, the villainess of this tale.

How is it even possible?

Why me?

"Dipper?"

My vision was fading as my heart began to rise. A call from the same maid, who asked a minute ago, came to my side and whispered to me comfortably.

The maid once again told Candy to call my 'sister' and 'husband' as my mind wasn't thinking straight.

_¿?_

I don't remember how I was able to get into my bedroom or even recall anything else from that moment.

My 'sister' cried a bit as my 'husband' scolded me on my behavior of being "not lady-like" or that "I was embarrassing him".

I couldn't help but think about how Princess Margaret could marry this guy. He's so pushy and demanding. Heck, I didn't even know about Margaret having a sister.

Once again, everyone left and my 'sister' stay behind. Of course, Candy would've stay if the king hadn't order her to leave along with the maid.

"Sister, are you okay? You have been acting strange since this morning. Anything you want to talk about?"

"No, it's nothing. Don't worry", I answer.

She gave me a concern smile before she realized something, "Oh, I almost forgot. The maid wants you to have this"

Grabbing from the table was a cup of tea that she offered to me.

A hint of honey flows through making my mouth crawl up a little smile.

She glances at me as I take a sip.

My body felt lighter than before; warmer and more relaxed.

My 'sister' took the cup as my eyes slowly fell heavy.

Darkness took over as the image of my 'sister' smile stay in my memory.

Narrator

Nothing comes through when it comes between those two.

The only sounds that were willing to respond were the echoes of the raindrops.

Time passes by, and still remains the same.

This didn't please the dream demon at all.

"You know, your brother is such a great guy"

That statement has her attention as he continues, "I'm not sure what happened between you two, but I will say this. Your brother cares about you for the longest time, and yet for some reason, you tend to push him away."

Denial is the first move that she makes as Bill further questions her actions—the reason behind all her neglect toward Dipper.

Of course, this wasn't going anywhere as if he knew that he didn't have a choice but to ask, "Then why would you care if he's dating me?"

Nothing came out of her mouth when she tried to explain.

Yeah, why?

Mabel didn't like hearing that, but at the same, she couldn't help it.

She understands about the relationship with her brother.

....

...did I though? She thought.

Conflicted was going on through her head as Bill continue to explain to her; making her question things to the point that she needed time to think.

"I know that you hate me, but can you at least put that aside for now? I believe that we should focus on finding Dipper and Candy"

The storm slowly came to an end as the blonde man started walking towards the light.

The brunette woman remains the same before he calls her name.

Her eyes meet his.

Found and lost.

Together they go find the others.

Candy

This is so weird.

A bunch of the servants continue as I was left alone.

So far, I haven't seen anyone that I know of besides Dipper, and when I told Dipper about a bit of history about the previous king, he suddenly panicked.

I was a bit worried about him, but luckily, he seemed to be fine after that.

Still, it's weird how many people see him as the queen.

It's quite amusing.

Speaking of, I don't get how the sister of the queen and the king came to be. I mean, sure the information about them was mentioned, but that was just it.

The way how to put it was strange as if they weren't supposed to be here in the first place.

Even when I asked, some of the servants either gave me a weird look or just laughed it off.

I don't know what's going on, but I need to find out more before it's too late.

"Miss, my lady wishes to speak to you."

With no choice, I follow as I fear if I dismiss her invitation.

Going through the hallways and into the room waits for a princess.

Greeting her with a bow as I wait for her command.

Narrator

A cry from the kingdom made everything else magical as the event plays on.

A flash of light blew everyone away, the games were simply fun, and a fresh smell was presented at the event.

People watch as the main host appears before them.

The crowd goes wild as they chant their name.

Someone is here???

Confused everyone looks at the two figures.

A blonde and a brunette.

That's not rIgHt???

Hey, eXcCse Me.

WhY aRe They hEre?

The moment comes loose when people slowly look at them in their blank stares.

The brunette seems conflicted as she watches the king and the pink princess coming towards them.

The blonde knew that this didn't seem right, yet they were greeting them with kindness.

The princess was full of innocence as many of those around her were praising.

...well...

"You're quite an interesting character, aren't you?"

Confusion was written by so many faces that made the blonde man smile even more.

Of course, Mabel didn't quite get it, yet a yell came out from the other side made her change her mind.

Dipper

Slowly breathing as it was making things better.

I don't quite recall how long I was out, but the one thing for sure is-

"What the?"

I'm not as safe as I thought I was.

The sounds of chains were grasping my hands along with my legs as my room became nothing more than prison-like.

What happened when I was asleep?

"Dipper?", I hear as I see Candy right in front of me and gasp in horror.

Candy's clothes which were once clean and neat are now ruin.

Her face wasn't making things better as a purple mark appeared on her left side.

When I asked for an explanation, her response was quite surprising, yet left me to question things. Especially, the tale that I remember hearing from Bill.

"Lucky, I remember that there's a secret passage somewhere here, but I don't know which room though. Unfortunately, it isn't my side. I already check", she explains.

Slowly getting up and carefully walking around. Candy told me it's within these walls, and yet, nothing.

Sigh in defeat, there wasn't any choice so matter.

Questioning about everything and wondering if is this really the end.

...

"Are you really giving up?"

Lifting my head as she continues, "We survived the impossible whenever we were in danger, and yet, you act as if this is our first time in it. I know that we're trapped, but that doesn't stop us before, right?"

Courage words have made me snap back to remind myself who I am.

Once she realized that I was fully aware of the things we had done in the past, her face lit up as we tried our best to find the way out.

Mabel

"So, you're looking for someone as you expect them to be here?"

I nodded as my mouth was filled with food.

This place is amazing and quite wonderful.

Right now, I'm enjoying myself with her highness as dinners are being served.

Of course, William has to sit from the other side, but that doesn't matter. For now, we just going to eat and enjoy ourselves before finding others.

"You know, it's nice that Margaret isn't here"

"Yeah, she tends to ruin things"

Whisper about this Margaret girl were the talk before her Highness reassured things to her citizens about her sister.

"Please, understand that I don't wish any ill things about her. Sure, she isn't perfect, but she's still your queen"

Everyone around the table smiles and acts as if they haven't disrespected her sister. Speaking of...

"Where is your sister? I'm sure I would like to meet her"

A small awkward laugh passed the princess's lips as the king rolled his eyes before she answered that her sister was sick at the moment.

I nodded as we continued.

So far, everything seems normal.

....

Wait...why are we here?

"Have you seen our dear friends? We were thinking that they might be here"

Oh, that's right...Now I remember.

Though it's quite strange how no matter what we try looking for them, for some reason, this event... I feel like these forces are stopping me from remembering why we're here.

"The princess seems a bit tired doesn't she?"

"Yeah, I heard that she was the one who did the whole decoration for this year's event"

The more they whisper, the more I listen.

I didn't pay any attention to William or the others as I was far more interested in the princess's relationship with her sister.

Yeah, why?

Stop, I didn't like this question one bit, yet it somehow ate me up with questions.

I tried to ignore it, but no matter what I did, it kept getting louder and louder.

Stop...please...

"Mabel, are you alright?"

A gasp of relief passed my lips as I was back in reality.

The one who snapped me back from reality was no other than William.

I nodded at him as I continued eating.

I would like to say thank you, but I don't dare to say it to someone who has Dipper wrapped from his finger.

Before long, a scream forms an echo as everyone looks at the other side.

Many people were worried as the king put his arm around the princess and glared at the figures who caused this scene.

Surprise as I see them.

"Dipper"
