Narrator

There was once a man.

A man who has nothing but knowledge.

Never ask anything but to live a good life.

Happily lived in a small town.

Across the ocean through the trees as he spread his wisdom around him.

Life goes on—he still stays strong.

Until he was recognized by the king himself who ruled far from the small town that heard it from one of his servants.

With that, the king send many requests each month, and within those, each month was given nothing but desires.

Well, that's if the young man would ever accept those requests for he knew the king want nothing more but his knowledge.

This had made the king furious.

People who have been supporting the king were now afraid of him. The rage that holds the power grows.

No one would stop him no matter how many people come in and out of the castle.

This doesn't sit well for anyone.

"Princess Margaret, please be reasonable for this"

Leaving the room with her luggage on her side, ignoring every aspect of issues that they plead on along with chaos in the background.

Princess Margaret.

The king's only daughter and future ruler of this kingdom was nothing but a joke to her.

Seeing her father's pathetic cry as the kingdom slowly crumble made her feel both shame and pity.

Taking a break from this was the only option she believe.

Having her carriage ready, she went off to god-knows-where without knowing when she'll return.

"But why?"

"What do you mean 'why'? I already explain it."

"What are you guys even doing?"

I pause and look over at him.

Whelp, the more than the merrier, I guess.

Question mark explains to Pinetree the story that I'm about to tell as his wife giggles happily after seeing Pinetree's expression—not convinced.

Passing by Pinetree, I see that Fez wasn't kidding with the whole bet that we made.

A chuckle left out of my lip as Pinetree stated this as nothing but a waste of time. Of course, Fez backs us up with, "it's either this or work. Pick a side, Kid."

With that, I continue. Nothing goes on in this story besides a few pieces...

"Now, why would I say that?"

"Why? 'Cause I say so? I mean, this story basically needs a bit more...Flash. Also, you're living at my house. Deal with it."

"Anyways..."

_¿?_

"Thank you, kind sir...I'm sorry, I didn't get your name?"

"It's sir Stan, toots"

The man smirks proudly.

The information that she got from him was enough to understand her father's obsession.

In truth, she knew about the wise man before her father though only thought little of him before knowing the full story.

Paying him was worth in both business as one of them was in glee, while the other was in thought.

'Surely this has to end if he agrees to my terms'

However, deep down she knew that no matter what she give will never be received.

"I don't understand why you're interested in this one when you're literally have everything. Speaking of", the man turns toward another man, "Great Soos, make sure you put it on the shelf!"

"Will do!"

_¿?_

Time goes on. From day to night, nothing seem to go the way that she planned.

The first mistake was him.

"As I was saying, I gave a man a knuckle shot and was able to save the woman from the thief"

Rolling her eyes as another praise—clapping for the prideful man.

The man was only here to guide her 'cause apparently, he knew where the man was. Instead, they went in a circle.

In fact, it was the third time that she saw the same broken tree, which didn't bother both men.

"Sir Stan, are you sure you know where to find him? I didn't pay double the amount of golden coins just to hear your ridiculous stories"

"Listen, lady, I know what I'm doing and besides, he should be here any moment"

The princess was distraught.

Couldn't believe how foolish she was to trust this man.

Disappointed.

Her mind was screaming as she was about to let it all out but pause for a moment.

Everything was silent—witnessing a man who knew almost anything.

Sir Stan smirk proudly once more as he knew that the princess would probably feel embarrassed to underestimate his knowledge.

The wise man smiled at them; knowing that they came only for business with him.

Princess Margaret ignores the two males and tells the wise man about her father's madness affecting the kingdom and simply continues out of desperation to give in.

"I shall not, I'm afraid. For I would be in great danger in the hand of the king."

Confused, her stubbornness took control of her. Making the men from behind stop her nonsense.

"Hey, this has to stop. The man already told you already"

"Please, is there any way that I can get you to come with us? I a bit more afraid that my father's reckless action will affect more than the kingdom itself"

The young man stares at the woman—wanting to go with them, however, even then...the king won't let him be.

Instead, he told her that he'll go with them under one condition when it was over, he will leave freely and never be trapped by those who wanted him for his knowledge only.

Immediately, the woman agrees while Sir Stan stops her as he never agrees to this part of the plan before blinding himself with greed when the princess shoves him with gold.

With that, they went on.

Facing some new enemies along with new companions.

_¿?_

"Wait, is that means that we're gonna be in the story!?"

"Oh wow! T-That could be...Epic!"

Question Mark grabs his lady's hand—looking like an exciting child.

Pinetree rolled his eyes playful after witnessing the couple together, while Fez complained about how this story should've been more than just that.

When I mean more, I mean more of him and this so-called his glory.

Of course, everyone 'boo' at him and let me continue with the story.

_¿?_

"Finally, we made it! My back was killing me!"

The group was happy that they finally were able to find a way to convince the king to stop his corruption.

For now, the princess ordered everyone to wait as she went up to one of the knights who was guarding the gate.

Explaining the situation to the man, he let them in without hesitation and the war between the king and the hero begins-

_¿?_

"Hey! They're giving out free food in town!"

"No way, dude!"

I tried to stop them, but it was pointless since the story wasn't going anywhere. As for the bet, I guess it's on hold for now.

I sigh as I brush myself off the chair and was about to follow until a pull force took me away from the hall and into the room—it was Pinetree.

"Hey, Bill"

"Yeah?"

His face was turning bright as he continue, "about the story...what really happened?"

Laughing at his adorableness, Pinetree yelled at me to shut up before I stop myself and let him hear the real story.

"What!? You're saying that the princess was the villain all along!?"

"Yeah, I mean, what do you expect? She wanted nothing more than the kingdom itself"

I explain to him more as Princess Margaret plans to use the knowledge of the wise man by telling the servant to tell the king about him, and as for the wise man, she tricks him by making him fall in love with her and helping her overthrow the 'mad king'.

Pinetree wasn't surprised at first before I told him that everything that happened in the story was real.

"Don't worry, I wasn't there. I just hear it from one of the mythical monsters from my trip"

"Trip?"

"Yeah", I continue as we started walking away from the room, "I mean, it was a short trip. Nothing special besides seeing those weird yellow people"

"Yellow people?"

I brush it off by giving him a small smooch and telling him to forget about it.

The way he looked at me was worth it as I laugh once more before getting out of the house and meeting out with the others.

Dipper

....

"What the hell..."

<I'm not dead>

<I'm just busy>
